This cozy chalet is located on a private property with its own terrace by the water and is ideal for families with children.
Directly at the house there is a spacious terrace with garden furniture, hammock, and fireplace.
Additionally, there is a lounge area directly by the water, which can be accessed through a separate gate. Fully renovated in 2025: Modern interior, fresh furnishings, and stylish decor

Kitchen: Fully equipped with everything needed for daily use:
e.g. : 4-burner gas hob and oven, as well as a refrigerator with freezer compartment, filter coffee machine, toaster, kettle
Bedroom:
Master bedroom with comfortable double bed (1.60 x 2.00 m)
Bedding for all beds (without covers) each in 135x200 cm and pillows in 60x70 cm
Bed linen and towels can be booked as needed, otherwise must be brought by yourself. Children’s room with bunk bed and additional pull-out drawer bed (ideal for up to 3 children), each 190x80 cm, max. load per mattress: 70kg
All mattresses have hygienic waterproof protective covers.
Bathroom with shower and toilet.
Sufficient shelves, towel hooks, and a hairdryer are available. Outdoor area:

Additional information:
Smoking and pets are unfortunately not allowed. Charging an electric car at the house is also not possible. E-charging stations for cars are located in the parking lots of the hotel or the beach resort.
All prices include VAT.
The mandatory final cleaning is included in the rental price. The house must be left swept clean, the kitchenette cleaned, dishes washed and put away in the cupboards, the refrigerator emptied, and garbage disposed of. The gas grill must also be left clean. The key can be picked up at the reception from 4 p.m. on the day of arrival. If the house is available earlier, we will be happy to let you know. Earliest arrival from 3 p.m.
The car can be parked in the large parking lot at the reception in the meantime. After picking up the key, it is possible to drive through the barrier to the house. Please provide the vehicle license plate number when booking. Playgrounds, beach, supermarket, and restaurants are freely accessible, so you can easily pass the waiting time even if you arrive early.
The house is ideal for families, couples, friends, or solo travelers.
You can take part in the park’s leisure program if you wish. If you don’t feel like it, just close the gate behind you, relax in the hammock, and enjoy the peace and quiet.
Therefore, we do not rent to school groups, bachelor parties, etc. - also for the benefit of our dear neighbors. There are certainly alternatives for partying.

Location and surroundings of object
The chalet is located in the popular De Holle Parte Park in Makkum, in direct proximity to the well-known Marina Makkum with its sailing ships, in the quieter part of the park with its larger plots and private terraces on the park canals.
The park offers many possibilities for families with children, has several playgrounds, and offers various holiday programs.
The beach is a 5-minute walk away, very shallow and ideal for families with small children. Surfboards and SUPs that can be rented at the nearby surf school round off a perfect day at the beach.
A supermarket, several restaurants, and a bike rental are also nearby.
The picturesque town of Makkum can be reached by bike in 10 minutes.

Beautiful vacation at the Ijsselmeer
The location of the holiday apartment is really highly recommended: it is close to the beach at Ijsselmeer and also not far from the nice little town of Makkum.
The booking, the communication with the landlords, as well as the check-in and check-out were uncomplicated and very pleasant.
The chalet itself is very nicely furnished and cozy. The outdoor area has very nice seating and you can enjoy the sun in various spots. Unfortunately, we have to deduct a point for cleanliness: we were disappointed with the final cleaning here.
It's also a pity that the light-colored furniture and the light carpet already have so many stains. One would wish that tenants would handle foreign inventory more carefully!
All in all, it was a very nice vacation, with plenty of sunshine, in Makkum.

Tolle Auszeit
Super für Urlaub mit Kindern. Das Haus ist gut ausgestattet und es fehlt an nichts. Auch die Anlage bietet für Kinder sehr viele Möglichkeiten. Auf jeden Fall weiter zu empfehlen.

A beautiful chalet that not only looks dreamy but also excels in everyday family life. ?
We feel completely comfortable here and notice every day how well thought out this chalet is.
Most importantly, we find that there is a beautiful space here where one can simply feel good. Both the interiors with their perfect, thoughtful furnishings and the outdoor area, which becomes a large living room under the open sky in dry weather, contribute to an exceptionally high quality of life.
You can immediately tell that professionals were at work here. The color concept and the theme of sea & surfing lovingly run through the entire interior and are perfectly coordinated. The small details – for example, the pretty wooden seagulls or the surfboard, which appears in different variations again and again – make the chalet very special. As a family of five, we were initially a bit unsure whether we could really spend our vacation here in a relaxed manner. Our concern quickly proved to be unfounded: The chalet is perfectly tailored to the needs of a family with three children. The children's room offers three sleeping spaces – a loft bed with an additional pull-out drawer – and the generous storage space is fantastic. With the many options for hanging clothes and storing other items in baskets, we manage to keep things much more organized here than at home. The cooking facilities are also excellent. In addition to the gas stove with oven, there is a gas grill available, so you can wonderfully prepare meals outside as well. Our initial concern about having to spend a vacation without a dishwasher was quickly resolved: with the manageable amount of dishes, washing up is done in no time. The kitchen is very lovingly and fully equipped – including children's cutlery and children's dishes. We enjoy the many playgrounds and the animation program.

A completely successful family vacation – absolute recommendation! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
We spent a wonderful week in this great chalet in Holland and felt completely at home from the very beginning with our three children.
The chalet is furnished with incredible attention to detail, and there is really nothing missing.
We were particularly positively surprised by the many small and large things that make the stay so pleasant – from the hairdryer and drying rack to the insect screens on the windows. The beds were also very comfortable, so we could all sleep wonderfully.
The chalet is simply perfectly equipped for families with children. From stools, booster seats, high chairs, and children's dishes to games, sand toys, and various vehicles, everything a child's heart desires is available.
A very special highlight for us was the cart, which proved to be incredibly practical in family life. The bicycles for adults, including child seats, were also a real plus for us and allowed for many nice outings.
With the great weather, we were also able to wonderfully use the associated property. With two terraces, a hammock, and many cozy options for relaxing, we could truly enjoy our time outside. But not only the chalet itself impressed us – the campsite is also really great and offers everything one could wish for a relaxing family vacation. The direct location by the beach with shallow water is ideal, especially with children. Additionally, there are great playgrounds, a petting zoo, a small supermarket, restaurants, and a varied animation program.
The many beautiful excursion opportunities in the nearby area also make the location perfect. Our conclusion: A thoroughly successful vacation for the whole family! We felt incredibly comfortable and would come back anytime. A clear recommendation for families with children!

Paradise on Earth

We are Katrin & Tobias Hollender and fell in love with this little house and the property in this park at the end of 2024. At the beginning of 2025, we renovated it with a lot of love. The outdoor area and the small cozy spots immediately convinced us, and we hope that you feel just as comfortable here as we do. We vacation here ourselves with our daughters and therefore already have a lot of things for children available. We know how full a car can get when you go on vacation with children. ;-) We would be very happy to welcome you to our place!
