I understand that!
Then come to Schönhagen, a small, quiet, and tranquil holiday resort directly on the Baltic Sea, in the most beautiful part of Schwansen, about 25 km north of Eckernförde and 8 km south of Kappeln on the Schlei. There my small but fine allergy-friendly holiday home "Haus am Meer" looks forward to welcoming dear and nature-loving guests.
Enjoy the beautiful and unobstructed view over fields and meadows all the way to the sea horizon directly from the living room or, when the sun is shining, on one of the two terraces. Or you can take a seat on the 360-degree rotating wave lounger and simply let your soul dangle there while your gaze wanders over the natural panorama. On cooler days, relax in the new feel-good bathroom and/or afterwards by the cozy fireplace in the large living area on the comfortable seating group or in the reading chair. In addition, the cozy sleeping alcove "Alkoven" invites you to linger there, for example, with a good movie. Digital TV and a Blu-ray player are available. Connecting your own USB stick or hard drive is also possible. The free use of the fiber optic high-speed internet with its 300 line easily offers these possibilities.
Working from home is also possible, so the job can be easily combined with a well-deserved evening off or a break.
The approximately 60 sqm detached large house is a feel-good oasis, suitable for a maximum of 4 people (with 5 available sleeping places) and is furnished with great attention to detail. The bedroom with a comfortable box spring bed promises restful sleep and also has an additional TV.
Traveling children or another couple will find space in the small miracle-of-space bedroom, which has a bunk bed with a lower sleeping area measuring 1.40 x 2.00 m. The upper bed measures 0.90 x 2.00 m.
But the cozy sleeping alcove "Alkoven" can be used as a full bed with dimensions of 1.40 x 2.00 m. The bathroom has now been completely renovated and fully modernized into a cozy wellness oasis with a walk-in shower.
The new, modern, and well-designed kitchen, completed in spring 2023, also ensures a unique holiday experience when preparing meals and dishes with a perfect view of nature.
Afterwards, feast in the cozy dining area of the living room or on the partially covered terrace. A short walk to the long sandy beach, which is only about 400m away as the crow flies, or to the similarly distant charming cliff coast, can round off the day.
Would you prefer, or additionally, to explore the beautiful surroundings by bike and bring your own bikes? - No problem! Safe storage is also provided on site: use the newly built lockable guest equipment house, right next to the house, to store and charge e-bikes. This also provides enough space for things that might potentially disturb the holiday home.
The private parking lot is located directly opposite the house. For loading and unloading, parking temporarily in front of the entrance area is possible.

Location and surroundings of object
The "House by the Sea" is located in a very quiet area of Schönhagen, which borders directly on the nature reserve. Enjoy the unobstructed and magnificent view over the fields, which, depending on the weather, allows you to observe not only deer and hares but also ship traffic. A small country path leads to the gently sloping sandy beach, which is about 400 m away. Below the beach promenade there is therefore a beautiful playground that makes children's hearts beat faster and invites them to really let off steam.
In the small supermarket about 700m away, you can easily stock up on everyday necessities. There is also a bakery in town. You can also enjoy delicious fish sandwiches, bratwurst, or crêpe variations at various stands on the Schönhagen promenade. Further and larger shopping opportunities can be found in Kappeln (8 km), Eckernförde (25 km), and in Damp (6 km), where the shops are also open on Sundays during the season.
The Baltic Sea resort of Damp, only 5 km away, offers attractive sports facilities and tourist attractions, as well as a very beautiful leisure pool, the so-called Entdeckerbad, which is located directly on the Baltic Sea and features a very nice sauna area and outdoor swimming pools. In Kappeln, visitors also get a taste: Strolling along the promenade, wandering through the pedestrian zone with many nice cafés and restaurants as well as numerous historic sights. Or you can start a boat trip from there with the paddle steamer all the way to Schleswig. There is so much to discover.
If you want to reach Damp in a relaxed way, you can also cycle there in 20 minutes along the sea on a natural path. With the little guests, a trip to the Tolk Show or to the Barefoot Park is worthwhile.
