The "Maarberg Resort" apartment complex has been newly renovated and refurbished.
It is beautifully situated on the outskirts of Schalkenmehren am See. A quiet hillside location at the edge of the forest.
The lake and the town center are only about 400 meters away. The town offers good restaurants, cafes, and a shopping area. In the district town of Daun, 5 km away, you will also find many shops and supermarkets.
From some of the apartments in the Maarberg Resort, you can enjoy beautiful views of the lake. Each apartment has Wi-Fi access. Internet/Wi-Fi: Free use in all rooms!

The new sauna and jacuzzi are located in the basement of the "Maarberg Resort" (free use). You can also use these facilities alone (lockable). There is also a room in the basement with a washing machine, dryer, iron, and ironing board.
In the reception hall, you will find hiking maps and postcards, as well as free information about the many excursion destinations and leisure activities in the region.
There is also a drinks fridge in the reception hall with drinks available for purchase on a trust basis. The outdoor area will delight you!
Two wonderfully and elaborately landscaped ornamental ponds with koi and other fish, two waterfalls, two streams, and a well-maintained decorative gravel area are part of the property. There are also turtles in the upper pond.

The Maarhöhe holiday apartment is located on the upper floor (1 flight of stairs up).
In the beautiful living room, you'll find a new sofa set that converts into a bed and a large, 127 cm HD/3D TV of the latest generation. You can choose from approximately 3,000 different TV and radio channels in many languages from 4 different satellites.
There is also a 3D Blu-ray player and DVD player. A music system with radio, CD, etc. is also located in the apartment.
Internet access with Wi-Fi is available.
The bright and welcoming apartment exudes a natural flair with plenty of wood and stone. The electric fireplace and an elegant ceiling fan also create a special, cozy atmosphere.
This creates a special holiday atmosphere even on cold and wet days.
This is a non-smoking apartment (smokers please use the balcony or outdoor area).
The new fitted kitchen has a 4-burner stove (ceramic hob) and oven, dishwasher, refrigerator with freezer, microwave, 2 coffee machines (filter and pod machine, Bosch Tassimo).

Pots and pans as well as cutlery and dishes for the maximum number of people are of course provided.
A cot and highchair can be provided free of charge.
The dining area is suitable for 4 people.
The apartment has 2 separate bedrooms with high-quality box spring beds (180 cm x 200 cm and 140 cm x 200 cm). Nothing stands in the way of a good night's sleep.
The second bedroom has a 140 cm wide French double bed.
You can also enjoy a view of the lake from the larger bedroom! There are also full-length mirrors in the bedrooms.
The living room features a new double sofa bed for additional sleeping space.
The bathroom has a whirlpool!
The bright bathroom features a whirlpool. Pamper yourself in the whirlpool. The bathroom is equipped with a satellite TV with a DVD player. A radio with a USB port is also available.
Special bath salts for the whirlpool are provided free of charge.
The whirlpool features a shower attachment with a rain shower, side massage jets, and LEDs.
The blue LED floor lights throughout the bathroom create a wonderful atmosphere. A large, illuminated LED mirror, a hotel hairdryer, and a bathroom scale are provided. Modern heating with a towel warmer.
The apartment has a lovely balcony with lounge chairs and a cocktail or coffee table.
If you'd like to enjoy a really good meal on the balcony, you'll find another dining table that folds down to each floor.
