Description
We rent out our child-friendly basement apartment and the shared use of our garden to special guests. We have made an effort to furnish the apartment and the garden to be suitable for families and (small) children. According to your needs, you will find access to the water more or less secured.
The apartment is located in the northern part of the listed Eickhof watermill. The garden borders a branch of the Warnow. The mill is located together with the other farm buildings of the ruined Eickhof Castle on an island in the Warnow. The village of Eickhof lies on the edge of the Sternberger Seenland Nature Park and is especially known for its canoeing rest area at the Eickhof nature village.
The Hanseatic cities of Wismar and Rostock, the state capital Schwerin, as well as the Barlach city of Güstrow are each about 30–45 minutes away by car. The Baltic Sea resorts or beaches can also be reached in about 45 minutes by car. In the immediate vicinity there are several supervised and unsupervised bathing spots at lakes or the Baltic Sea. Historical buildings such as the Rühn Monastery or the Collegiate Church of Bützow, the megalithic tombs in Katelbogen and Klein Görnow, the Boitin stone circle, the Groß Raden open-air museum, and the Warnow breakthrough valley invite you to take day trips. 80 m² floor area, open-plan kitchen-living room with wood-burning stove, 2 bedrooms (BR 1: double bed 140x200cm, single bed 90x200cm - BR 2: double bed 160x200cm, children's cot 70x140cm), sofa bed (140x200cm - if needed) in the living room, full bathroom with open shower, changing table, heat lamp, children's potty, hairdryer, kitchenette with built-in oven and washing machine, microwave, kettle and coffee machine, sofa area with TV (satellite reception), Blu-ray player and WLAN radio, large garden (about 800m²) with sandbox, slide, swing, climbing pole, bathing area and jetty, two terraces, one of which is covered, barbecue, fire pit with fire bowl, children's high chairs if needed (Stokke TripTrap, IKEA Antilop with tray attachment), parking space directly in front of the apartment, bicycle storage in the basement, pet-free non-smoking apartment
Included in the rent: bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi, final cleaning and usual utility costs.
