This holiday villa is located a 3-minute walk from the beach, idyllically situated by a canal in the beautiful Beach Resort Makkum—one of the most beautiful holiday parks in the Netherlands!
At the Beach Resort and in the immediate vicinity, there are numerous recreational opportunities, such as windsurfing, kiting, paddling, SUP, cycling and boating, or sailing. On the spacious and nature-oriented grounds of the Beach Resort, there are also mini golf, table tennis, indoor play options, a fitness center, and several playgrounds. Shopping opportunities are available in Makkum (3 km) and within walking distance is the beach promenade with restaurants, café, and shops as well as a small Spar supermarket near Marina Makkum.
Directly adjacent is a large nature reserve on one side, and on the other, a spacious off-leash area for dogs with their own swimming spot. From October to mid-April, dogs are also allowed on the beach.
Trips are worthwhile, for example, to the Frisian cities or the islands. to the seal banks, to the nearby towns of Hindeloopen, Harlingen, and Bolsward. You can reach the North Sea with the Wadden Sea by car in about 10 minutes. Also worth seeing is the 32 km long closing dam that separates the North Sea from the Ijsselmeer.
Enjoy the natural environment of a mature infrastructure that is in harmony with nature and the expansiveness of the Ijsselmeer.

Cancellation terms:
Here is the translation to English: If the tenant cancels a booking up to 6 weeks before the start of the rental period, cancellation fees of 30% of the total price will be charged. In case of cancellation from 6 weeks up to 1 day before the start of the rental period, 90% of the total amount will be charged. In the event of a cancellation, we always make every effort to find a replacement tenant. If our holiday home can be rented out to someone else for this period (even at a lower price), only the difference will be charged or a flat fee of 70 euros. The reasons for a cancellation are irrelevant. We recommend taking out travel cancellation insurance (e.g. ERV – Europäische Reiseversicherung AG). In the event of early termination or no-show, the tenant is not entitled to compensation for the unused rental period. The applicable VAT is included in the price.

Stylishly into the sunset
We felt very comfortable, including our shepherd dog Mogli. The house is exceptionally well and stylishly equipped. Nothing is missing, and there is still more than one would ever expect.
We had wonderful weather in mid-October and dined twice at the nearby beach bar Thuishaven. We also sat outside there, under the heat lamps with our dog, and enjoyed ourselves. The holiday park itself is well maintained and long walks are possible.

Perfect vacation
We were in Holland for the first time and could not have wished for a better stay. The holiday home has a perfect location, is very tastefully furnished, and excellently equipped - it really lacked nothing. The hosts were perfect, warm, and always approachable.

Beautiful
As soon as you enter the house, you immediately feel at home. It is tastefully and very lovingly furnished. A place to relax and feel good! Everything was simply there, nothing was missing, nothing was too little! The view from the terrace over the IJsselmeer was absolutely stunning! Huge thanks also to our host Evi. She was always approachable, questions were answered promptly, just a very, very pleasant communication. Conclusion: We will come back!!

Es fehlt an nichts und es ist immer noch mehr da, als man es jemals erwarten würde.
Wir hatten Mitte Oktober herrliches Wetter und waren in der nahe gelegenen Strandbar Thuishaven zweimal Abend essen.
Wir haben auch dort draußen gesessen, unter den Wärmestrahlern mit unserem Hund und haben es uns gut gehen lassen.
Der Ferienpark an sich ist gut gepflegt und lange Spaziergänge möglich.
Eine kleine Frage und prompte Antwort. Kein Callcenter, kein KI…ein richtiger Mensch. Heutzutage selten.
Die Lage an der Gracht mit Blick aufs Ijsselmeer, traumhaft.
Sehr, sehr empfehlenswert!
ist man sofort angekommen. Es ist geschmack- und sehr liebevoll eingerichtet.
Ein Ort zum Relaxen und Wohlfühlen!
Es war einfach alles da, nichts fehlte, nichts war zu wenig!
Die Aussicht auf der Terrasse übers Ijsselmeer war die absolute Wucht!
Großen Dank auch an unsere Gastgeberin Evi. Sie war immer ansprechbar, Fragen wurden umgehend beantwortet, einfach eine sehr, sehr angenehme Kommunikation.
Fazit: Wir kommen wieder!!
