The small, simply furnished 27.5 sqm holiday apartment is located in a house built in 1853 in the center of the old town in Bergen auf Rügen and has been owned by the Zerning family for 3 generations. The entrance to the holiday apartment is separate and leads off from the terrace of the garden, which can be used at any time. There is also a small grill on which you can prepare your dinner outside. The bedroom is furnished with a double bed, 2 chairs, a small wardrobe, and a chest of drawers with a television.
To the left of the entrance is a small bathroom with a shower.
Straight ahead from the bedroom leads to the living kitchen with a sofa, an armchair for reading, and a dining table with 4 seats.
The holiday apartment is equipped with everything you need for a short vacation for 2 people. (TV, electric stove top, dishwasher, coffee machine, toaster, kettle, hairdryer, etc.)
The parking space is located one house further on in the courtyard. In the garden, seasonal flowers bloom from spring to autumn.

In about 5 minutes on foot, you are in the center of the old town with several shopping opportunities on Bahnhofstrasse, restaurants, a cafe, a savings bank, and a pharmacy. Several attractions in the area are within walking distance:
The Marienkirche built around 1180, the Benedixhaus from 1538, the Rugard Tower from 1869, the island toboggan run, and the music events at the forest stage in Rugard. The nearest stone-free, white beach in Prora, with the historic KDF buildings, is 13 km away and is easily accessible by bicycle, bus, or car. The "Rasender Roland," a narrow-gauge railway, runs from the white city of Putbus to the Baltic Sea resort of Göhren.
In Putbus, there is a historic theater from the Schinkel period with many guest performances.
The adjacent Orangery in the Putbus Park invites to exhibitions and lingering. The Klaus Störtebecker Festival in Ralswiek is a popular attraction during the summer months, overlooking the Großer Jasmunder Bodden. The Ozeaneum in Stralsund, about 30 minutes away by car, is worth a visit. The car-free island of Hiddensee, accessible from Schaprode by ferry, is a special gem in the Baltic Sea.
The island of Rügen offers attractive leisure activities for sports activities, such as hiking, cycling, jogging, and swimming. Or you can simply "let your soul dangle" on the beach.

On the day of departure, the tenant must return the house in a cleaned condition. Cleaning agents and tools are provided.

Cozy vacation apartment
In the beautiful and practically furnished holiday apartment (with terrace and grill, which we used three times), we were guests over the Easter holidays. The landlord is super nice (he can also speak Low German) and provided us with great tips about sights on the island of Rügen (the Marienkirche, just around the corner at the market, was great; its clock face has 61 minutes!). We really liked the white beach in Prora. Thank you very much, and we would love to come back!
