The high-quality Villa Alegres is a very generous estate in a beautiful location. Here, one lives in a modern house amidst nature, surrounded by orange, fig, and pomegranate trees, far from mass tourism. The complex offers a lot of privacy and is ideal for a large family or several couples who want to spend a relaxed vacation. The spacious living/dining room and the modern, fully equipped kitchen with a large dining table and a cozy breakfast bar provide ample space for cooking and dining for up to 8 people. Those who want to withdraw will find plenty of space in the gallery. The living room has a large TV and on cooler evenings, a fire in the recently renovated fireplace creates a cozy atmosphere. Each of the 4 air-conditioned bedrooms includes a private en suite bathroom with a large shower, hairdryer, and vanity mirror. One of the bathrooms also features a bathtub. All windows are equipped with electric shutters and fly screens.
Thanks to the many sunny hours in the Algarve, life here is predominantly spent outdoors. The spacious, covered terrace is quickly and easily accessible from the house and then serves as the perfect seating and dining area overlooking the pool. There is also a built-in charcoal grill available for use.
The pool area is also easily accessible from the terrace. The large pool (5 x 10 m) is surrounded by a beautiful glass railing, which parents of small children will surely appreciate. In addition to an outdoor shower, there is another seating area here with a large table and built brick benches. Comfortable loungers are available in sufficient numbers.
The beautiful garden with many olive trees, vines, pomegranates, and figs (snacking allowed!) invites you to linger and offers a lot of space for children to play.
On the rooftop terrace, you can enjoy the sunrise at breakfast, and a seating area with a dining table is also available here. Even in the evening, this is the perfect place to enjoy an aperitif at sunset and the view of the Ria Formosa.
There are no parking problems. Several vehicles can be accommodated under a shady carport and on additional parking spaces within the fenced property. Groceries can be taken directly from the car into the kitchen. Overall, the facility is almost free of stairs, except for the access to the gallery and roof terrace. Dreamlike beaches, interesting excursion destinations as well as shopping facilities and typical restaurants are available in the nearby area. However, a car is highly recommended.

A local tourist tax of 2 euros per person (ages 16 and up) per day is due, but only for the first 5 nights. This means an additional 10 euros per person per stay.

The villa is located in a beautiful landscape on the outskirts of Fuseta. The property is quietly situated, but also not far from the N125, so that trips to Tavira (pearl of the Algarve), Faro, Olhão, or Moncarapacho can be undertaken.
Fuseta is located at the Ria Formosa nature reserve between Faro and the Spanish border, where the landscape is still pristine and natural. Fuseta is a typical Portuguese fishing village with traditional restaurants, a small fishing port, and a great beach bar right on Praia da Fuseta. The beautiful promenade with small locales and the pedestrian zone are popular; here, Portuguese locals and tourists meet. For daily needs, there is a market hall, shops, and a bakery. The center of Fuseta is only a 3-minute drive (2 km) from Villa Alegres. Those who have read the book "Lost in Fuseta" by Gil Ribeiro will recognize the atmosphere of this place and its inhabitants. Regardless, all guests enjoy the charming kindness with which the local population meets everyone.
The holiday home is located only 2.5 km from the nearest beach, Praia da Fuseta. A ferry commutes to the offshore sandbank (about every 30 minutes). €2,- round trip, children pay half) and quickly takes you to more kilometers of beaches and the open Atlantic.
The Quinta da Ria golf course is just a short drive away, and there are several other excellent golf courses in the area. Environment / Sustainability
The owners place great importance on resource conservation and have carried out extensive renovation measures in the years 2022/2023 to be able to operate the house nearly climate-neutral. Over 90 percent of the total electricity demand is now generated environmentally friendly by their own photovoltaic system, and a modern heat pump is used for hot water preparation and feeds the heating during the winter months.
