The beautiful, open apartment in the Eifel is located on the outskirts of Kirchwald (near Mayen) on a hillside with a great view of meadows and forest in a scenically attractive area.
The spacious apartment is bright and pleasantly furnished and offers 50 sqm of living space with bathroom, fitted kitchen, refrigerator with freezer compartment, oven, ceramic hob, TV/SAT, and, if needed, equipment for small children. The sleeping area has a double bed. Another sleeping option for more than two people is the sofa bed (160 cm wide). Please note that this is a studio apartment, i.e. living and sleeping in one room. The sleeping area can be visually separated from the living area by a curtain.
Internet (Wi-Fi) is available free of charge. The apartment has its own entrance and a private terrace in a green setting.
It is a non-smoking apartment, so please only smoke on the terrace. WLAN is available free of charge.
Bed linen, towels, soap, cleaning products, and toilet paper are included.
Baby/toddler equipment is available free of charge.
Pets are allowed: a maximum of 2 small or 1 large dog. Please note that the garden is not completely fenced and your dog must be leashed outside. Occasionally, a cat also visits the garden.
No need to fear bees! In one corner of the garden, we have beehives. Normally, the bees choose their path away from the holiday apartment, but please keep this in mind if you have a severe bee allergy or panic around bees. In return, we offer delicious Eifel honey for sale :)

Kirchwald and the Eifel offer pure nature, peace, and relaxation. At an elevation of 500 meters, there is a magnificent view, fresh air, and a natural idyll. Hiking through extensive forest areas, on the juniper heaths, or along the many small streams and rivers of the area is recommended. In Kirchwald itself, there is the Panorama hiking trail. Also, the Traumpfade / Traumpfädchen trails of the region are quickly accessible.
The nearest shopping options are located in Mayen (15 minutes by car). Here you will also find cafes in a beautiful pedestrian zone, many restaurants, an indoor and outdoor pool. Only a 20-minute drive away is the famous Laacher See by the Maria Laach Abbey, featuring dining facilities, a nursery, and a bookstore. The Riedener Waldsee also invites swimming, with restaurants located 10-15 minutes away by car.
For motorsport fans, the Nürburgring is just 15 km away. Via the A61 (Mainz-Cologne) and the A48 (Koblenz-Trier), Kirchwald can be reached in about 15 minutes.

We ourselves love to travel and since we moved to Kirchwald in 2012, we have been renting our holiday apartment and are happy about visitors from near and far. We feel at home in the tranquility of the Eifel, enjoy being outdoors in nature, and would be delighted if you would like to spend some nice days with us.
