Casa Piccola was renovated by me between 2019 and 2023. The former stable, which had decayed into a ruin, was extensively transformed into this beautiful accommodation, partly using antique materials.
The house forms the beginning of a typical Ligurian row of houses along the little river Prino.
To the southwest, the property is bordered by the little river Prino and to the northeast by Via Mameli. From the terrace, there is a wonderful view to the south of the church of Dolcedo, and to the southwest, the sports field with the parking lot above it can be seen.
From the street, two steps lead into the living and dining area with kitchen, which is connected to the large terrace above the river.
A steep staircase leads to the lower floor, which, due to its hillside location, is about three meters above the river.
On this floor there are two bedrooms. In the smaller room there is a double bed as well as a desk, the larger room is furnished with a double bed and a wardrobe. Another wardrobe is located under the stairs in the hallway.
The bright bathroom made of travertine is situated between the two rooms. From these rooms you can watch the ducks and herons land on the river.
From this floor, a door leads outside and a ramp/staircase leads back up to the terrace or to the front door.
The little house is approx. 200 meters from the village square, which invites you to linger with its new design.
In the immediate vicinity, within walking distance, there are several pizzerias, a bar, a grocery store, post office, ice cream parlor, bakery, and newsstand.
There is no parking directly in front of the house.
The parking lot is 250m away on the other side of the river and can be reached via a bridge.
