Description
Our Rifugio al Fiume is located in a quiet area surrounded by olive groves in the romantic Valprino valley. Directly at the house, a hiking trail invites to walks or mountain bike tours and down to the river, where you can swim in the summer. In the garden there is a swimming pool ( x m) between about May and September. The rest of the time you have a bio sauna (60 degrees) available. For children there is also a trampoline and plenty of space to play! The next beautiful beach is about 20 minutes. Pets are always welcome.
Our app. Boschi apartment is at ground level and about 40 m² in size. It has a large terrace.
From the hallway leads to the bathroom with bath, the bedroom (with four-poster bed) and the living / dining room. The kitchen (including dishwasher) also has a separate entrance.
In the living / dining room there is a sofa, optically separated, from two real beds (190x80) and satellite TV. The apartment was newly restored in 2017.
In the house there is another apartment and the apartment where I live most of the time with my girls (12 and 14 years).
Other services: We are happy to provide additional: Shopping service on site, towels, pickup in the village on the day of arrival, pick up from the train station or airport (pay), recommendation for hikes and excursions on site, baby sitting service.

How to get there: As the house is very lonely and the passage through the village is too narrow for ordinary cars, an electric golf cart is available free of charge: park your car in the village, walk a few meters and head straight for the remaining 800 meters back to the house with the golf cart.

Holiday in another world
Our holiday in Al Fiume with Felix was simply wonderful. A cosy, totally individual holiday flat, surrounded by an enchanting, beautiful garden. We immediately felt super comfortable, never before have I felt so quickly and immediately like I was on holiday. Nothing about this place is quite perfect and has a quirk or two, but that's what makes it unique. Felix is a relaxed and very friendly landlord who knows how to help with any problem and quickly accommodates guests' wishes. We enjoyed the closeness to nature with the beautiful pool, the somewhat crooked table tennis table, the mountain stream waiting nearby with wonderful, cold water so much that the trips to the otherwise so favoured sea were extremely rare and then it was even often evening by the time we could tear ourselves away. The children who were with us (between 4 and 9 years old) did not experience one second of boredom. Pure adventure. That is also the only restriction for Al Fiume: I would rather not go there with children who are already walking but still unsure. The garden is terraced, there are steep parts now and then, lots of steps and unclear terrain. Our daughter, who was 4, was not allowed to leave the flat without water wings because the pool is on the way to the other holiday flat and is not visible from the flat. Apart from that, I can give a very clear travel recommendation: We are going there again this Whitsun with our friends! You can go on wonderful and also adventurous hikes from the place, where even the children won't get bored (with great views, swimming pools, etc.). Dolcedo is a nice village with good restaurants, it's not far to the sea and the paths that have to be covered with the Golfmobile were - at least at the beginning - nerve-wracking, but also a lot of fun!

Wunderschöner Ort zum Ausspannen und Spaß haben
Wir waren zu viert mit zwei Kindern zum wiederholten Male bei Felix zu Gast und haben uns wieder unglaublich wohl gefühlt.
Lage:
Das Haus liegt mitten in Olivenhainen über einem Bergfluss, welcher zum Baden einlädt. Die Lage ist extrem ruhig, es gibt keine Straßen und somit auch keinen Lärm. Ein Highlight ist, dass man mit dem eigenen Auto nicht zum Objekt kommt (zu enge Straßen). Das Auto wird im nächsten Örtchen geparkt, Felix kommt dann bei der Ankunft mit einem passenden Auto zum Gepäcktransport. Den Gästen stehen dann für den Zeitraum des Aufenthaltes Golfautos zur Verfügung, mit welchen man dann den Weg vom Haus bis zum eigenen Auto befahren kann. Ein riesen Spaß für uns und die Kinder.
Die Wohnung:
Es erwartet einen eine voll ausgestattete Wohnung mit toller Küche (inkl. Spülmaschine!!), gemütlichen Betten (ein großes Bett für die Eltern, ein Zimmer mit Stockbett für die Kids, ein Schlafsofa). Das Schlafen mit dem sanften Rauschen des Flusses im Hintergrund ist wirklich erholsam.
Eine tolle Holzterrasse direkt über dem Fluß lädt auch zum gemütlichen Essen an der frischen Luft ein.
Der GARTEN!:
Rund um das Haus gibt es einen auf Terrassen gelagerten Garten, welcher keine Wünsche offen lässt. Neben den unzähligen Pflanzen und Obstbäumen gibt es auch einen Kräutergarten, an welchem man sich für das Kochen mit frischen Kräutern eindecken kann.
Weiterhin gibt es einen riesigen Pool, in dem sich die Kids stundenlang austoben können. Ansonsten gibt es noch eine Tischtennisplatte, ein Trampolin, eine Zielscheibe fürs Bogenschießen sowie eine Grillstelle.
Die Umgebung / die Ausflugsmöglichkeiten:
Sollte man sich wirklich dazu durchringen, dieses wunderbaren Ort zu verlassen, gibt es viele Ausflugsziele in der näheren Umgebung. Viele Wege zum Wandern sind ebenso einladend wie ein Bummel im nächsten Ort Dolcedo.
Das Meer ist in 20 Minuten mit dem Autor zu erreichen, ebenso wie die nächste größere Stadt.
Wir kommen wieder!

sehr schöne und ruhige ferienwohnung
das häuschen liegt mitten in einem olivenhain. man hat einen wundervollen blick. die ausstattung ist liebevoll und charmant.
der gastgeber felix ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit.
man kommt nur mit einem elektromobil hin.( wird vom gastgeber gestellt) und es war immer wieder ein abenteuer damit zum häuschen zu fahren...:-)
man kann zu fuss in den ort" dolcedo" gehen. dort sind einkaufsmöglichkeiten und restaurants.
wir fanden es sehr schön, und werden bestimmt nochmal hinfahren!

Die Anfahrt zum Haus mit dem Golfcar ist für die Kinder immer wieder ein Erlebnis.

Pure relaxation
We were in Dolcedo with our daughter and our dog. The parking lot is next to the church. Felix picked us up with his pickup truck. The apartment is simple but very tastefully furnished. The garden, an old olive grove and the pool are amazing! Many playthings for children, trampoline, table tennis table. Just below the house is a small stream. Our dog was particularly enthusiastic about this. It was very relaxing and quiet. What we were missing. Always happy to come back!

Uneingeschränkt zu empfehlen
Meine Frau, unsere Katze, unser Hund und ich waren im Al Fiume bislang dreimal für mehrere Wochen- es gibt für den Urlaub nichts besseres. Kein Verkehr und damit verbundener Lärm und Gefahr! Tiere und Kinder können sich frei bewegen! Der Gebirgsbach mit seinen Felsen ist schön wie aus einem Traum, darin zu plantschen ist viel erfrischender als im Meer - das auch nur 8 km entfernt wäre. Viele weitere unfassbar schöne Badestellen liegen flußaufwärts im Wald bei Lecchiore-Aqua Santa, zu Fuß eine halbe Stunde entfernt. Das nahe Dolcedo hat alles, was man braucht, die Stadt Imperia sowieso. Beide Wohnungen im Haus gefallen uns, eine ist mit ihrer Treppe zum Schlafzimmer sogar sehr "stylisch" - aber nicht gut für den Hund :) Ach ja, der Garten ist ebenfalls ein Traum, man kann da tagelang einfach auf verschiedenen Ebenen rumfläzen, alles so schön. Bei unserer allerersten Ankunft waren wir über das Elektromobil erstaunt - aber ab der ersten Fahrt verrückt danach! Felix, der Vermieter, ist supereasy und hilft, wo er kann - wir können wirklich nichts am Al Fiume aussetzen!
