Our Rifugio al Fiume is located in absolute tranquility amidst olive groves in the romantic Valprino Valley. Right by the house, a hiking trail invites you to take walks or mountain bike tours and leads down to the river, where you can swim in the summer. In the garden, a pool (7.50 x 4.30 m) awaits you from around mid-May to mid-September.
There is plenty of space for children to play! The nearest beautiful beach is about 20 minutes away. Pets are always welcome. Our water comes from a spring, the electricity and hot water are produced 100% from renewable energy, and when using building materials we place value on nature-friendly materials.
Our apartment Olive is on the ground floor and about 42 m² in size. It has a large terrace.
The entrance is on the lower level, where the terrace and access to the garden are also located.
Through the bedroom, you reach the upper part of the apartment via a staircase. Here there is a large eat-in kitchen with stove, refrigerator, dishwasher, cooktop and microwave, a dining table and a sofa bed 160x200.
One door leads to a small breakfast balcony.
Through the other door you reach a small passage room to the bathroom, with a bunk bed (each 80x2.00) for children. It has no window but is lit via a skylight and frosted glass doors.
Next to it is the bathroom with bathtub. The golf cart, which is available to you at any time during your entire stay and takes you from the parking lot about 800 m to the house, runs on solar power.
The route with the cart is partly hilly and winding, a little adventurous at first but, in our experience, great fun, especially for children.
In the house there is another apartment, Boschi, on one level, a bit smaller. Through the hallway you reach the cozy bedroom on the right with a 160x200 bed. Straight ahead to the bathroom with bathtub and to the left into the living/cooking area. In the living room there is the dining table and, separated by a room divider, the sofa bed 160x200.
The kitchen with large panoramic windows adjoins this.
In front of the apartment there is a terrace with table and chairs.

Holiday in another world
Our holiday in Al Fiume with Felix was simply wonderful. A cosy, totally individual holiday flat, surrounded by an enchanting, beautiful garden. We immediately felt super comfortable, never before have I felt so quickly and immediately like I was on holiday. Nothing about this place is quite perfect and has a quirk or two, but that's what makes it unique. Felix is a relaxed and very friendly landlord who knows how to help with any problem and quickly accommodates guests' wishes. We enjoyed the closeness to nature with the beautiful pool, the somewhat crooked table tennis table, the mountain stream waiting nearby with wonderful, cold water so much that the trips to the otherwise so favoured sea were extremely rare and then it was even often evening by the time we could tear ourselves away. The children who were with us (between 4 and 9 years old) did not experience one second of boredom. Pure adventure. That is also the only restriction for Al Fiume: I would rather not go there with children who are already walking but still unsure. The garden is terraced, there are steep parts now and then, lots of steps and unclear terrain. Our daughter, who was 4, was not allowed to leave the flat without water wings because the pool is on the way to the other holiday flat and is not visible from the flat. Apart from that, I can give a very clear travel recommendation: We are going there again this Whitsun with our friends! You can go on wonderful and also adventurous hikes from the place, where even the children won't get bored (with great views, swimming pools, etc.). Dolcedo is a nice village with good restaurants, it's not far to the sea and the paths that have to be covered with the Golfmobile were - at least at the beginning - nerve-wracking, but also a lot of fun!

Beautiful place to relax and have fun.
We were four with two children visiting Felix for the umpteenth time and we felt incredibly comfortable again.
Location:
The house is situated in the middle of olive groves above a mountain river, which invites you to swim. The location is extremely quiet; there are no roads and thus no noise. A highlight is that you cannot reach the property by car (the roads are too narrow). The car will be parked in the next village, and Felix will then arrive with a suitable vehicle for luggage transport. Guests will have golf carts available for the duration of their stay, which they can use to travel the path from the house to their own car. A huge fun for us and the kids.
The apartment:
You can expect a fully equipped apartment with a great kitchen (including a dishwasher)! ), cozy beds (a large bed for the parents, a room with a bunk bed for the kids, a sleeper sofa). Sleeping with the gentle sound of the river in the background is truly restful.
A lovely wooden terrace directly above the river also invites for cozy outdoor dining.
THE GARDEN!:
Around the house, there is a terraced garden that leaves nothing to be desired. In addition to the countless plants and fruit trees, there is also an herb garden where one can stock up on fresh herbs for cooking. Furthermore, there is a huge pool where the kids can have fun for hours. Otherwise, there is also a table tennis table, a trampoline, a target for archery, and a barbecue area. The surroundings / excursion possibilities:
If one really manages to summon the courage to leave this wonderful place, there are many excursion destinations in the nearby area. Many hiking trails are as inviting as a stroll in the nearby town of Dolcedo.
The sea can be reached in 20 minutes by car, as can the next larger city.
We will come back!

very beautiful and quiet holiday apartment
The little house is situated in the middle of an olive grove. One has a wonderful view. The furnishings are loving and charming. The host Felix is very nice and helpful. You can only reach it with an electric vehicle (provided by the host), and it was always an adventure to drive to the little house... :-) You can walk to the village "Dolcedo." There are shopping opportunities and restaurants. We found it very lovely and will definitely go back! Martin and Birgit

Pure relaxation
We were in Dolcedo with our daughter and our dog. The parking lot is next to the church. Felix picked us up with his pickup truck. The apartment is simple but very tastefully furnished. The garden, an old olive grove and the pool are amazing! Many playthings for children, trampoline, table tennis table. Just below the house is a small stream. Our dog was particularly enthusiastic about this. It was very relaxing and quiet. What we were missing. Always happy to come back!
