A great spacious house in a good… A great spacious house in a good location, which has unfortunately aged in some places. Open, generous living. Unfortunately, some parts of the description are not accurate: one room has a bathroom but no toilet, 4 rooms have no heating, the steep stairs to the rooms are not mentioned. The kitchen is unfortunately incomplete: for example, a kettle is missing. Many appliances are very dirty or defective. That was very annoying. The dishes were very plentiful, very tasteful, and very diverse. We, 14 adults and 8 children, still had a great family vacation.

This experience unfortunately did not live up to our expectations. Firstly, the communication with the owner was very poor. Several emails we sent were ignored. The setup of the beds as described on the website is not what is actually in the house - this caused significant difficulty for our group. Secondly, the house was not clean. There was a TON of mold in one of the fridges, the hot tub was dirty and had sand in it, and there was dust and other dirt throughout the house. The location is lovely and the trails nearby are great. Also, the large common rooms were nice. But overall, I would not stay here again.
