"Wapse is located between Diever and Vledder in the municipality of Westerveld. 100 m from the house "Puck" there is "de Wapse Herberg" where you can eat excellent, also very good meals from the region. Drenthe is the largest bicycle province of Holland and famous for the "Hunnebedden". In a circle of 10 km are beautiful villages like Giethoorn (the Venice in the North, is also on the new version of the Monopoli game), the Dwingeloo Museum "Planetron Cinedome" and the "Vledder Museum" with fake arts. In Diever there is an open-air theatre and in summer performances of Shakespeare are played
There is a bus stop next to the "Wapse Herberg", at the entrance of the park. There is also a bicycle rental with normal or electric bikes
In winter there is a natural ice rink, just behind the house.
