It was a lovely house, equipped with every luxury. Quite a few houses, so people together.

My name is Rien Kluitmans and we spent from 2-5 January in accommodation E and F with 16 people and 1 dog. We had 2 really nice days, couldn't find a negative point.
The managers have contacted my partner about the bed support, which we had forgotten. We have received a message that the bed support is on its way. I don't use that bed support for nothing. As a result of the muscle disease ALS, my leg muscles no longer do what they should do, namely carry me around. And that brings me to the most important experience that I gained during our stay in Nij Leons. At home, everything is optimally adjusted to my disability and therefore I still have sufficient freedom of movement. And that is very important. The part where we were "F" also turned out to be well equipped for my disability. Bathroom next to the bed, so that I didn't have to make unnecessary transfers. From bed to wheelchair and from wheelchair to chair in the shower. We had an extra handle with a suction cup with us, which you can stick to the wall, so to speak. You can use it well on the tiles in the bathroom and move it quickly. It wasn't cheap, but it has to be able to hold a lot of weight.
The only thing I personally had a bit of trouble with was the edge of the bed. It wasn't there. Every now and then you say: if it can't be done the way it should be, then it has to be done the way it can be done. Normally you just go to the toilet, but sometimes you know you won't make it. I have a urinal for that. Also during our stay with you. Then you calmly sit on the edge of the bed and get things going. With you that was a bit more difficult, but not impossible. It never went wrong, but I'll mention it anyway.
Furthermore, a lot of thought had been given to the access to houses: Thresholds and other unevenness are always a challenge for a wheelchair and certainly for the split rider, which I have. That's why the metal ramp that was there was a huge solution. When I left one house, I took the disaster with me to the other location. Very effective.
Furthermore, we had a great time: bowling in Sneek, city walk in Leeuwarden, games, watching TV and slept well. Only the weather was not good, but you can't order that. And that's a good thing.

We had a great family outing in this Frisian villa! The spacious layout was perfect for our group of eight, and having a private bathroom for most bedrooms was a real pleasure. The kitchen was well-equipped, allowing us to prepare meals together. We especially enjoyed renting electric bikes to explore the beautiful surroundings. The quiet location by the water added a pleasant touch to our stay, and we even tried fishing from the property. I highly recommend this place for a relaxing vacation!

We had a great time in this villa. The location was quiet but close to various attractions. The bathrooms were luxurious, especially the one with the bathtub. The only downside was the weather, but we enjoyed our time indoors.

The villa is modern and clean, with all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. It was great that they offered wheelchair-accessible facilities, so everyone in our group was accommodated. The location is quite convenient - close to local shops and restaurants. Although we did not make use of the boat rental, it was nice to know that it was available. Overall, a solid choice for families looking for a quiet getaway in Friesland.

Honestly, this place is a gem! The beds were super comfortable, and having multiple bathrooms was a great convenience. I loved being able to order groceries in advance.

A lovely place to relax! The children had a great time in the garden with the trampoline and play equipment. It was nice to have so much space, and the location by the water was peaceful. Just a short drive to Aquazoo Friesland for a fun family outing.

We had an amazing time in this villa! The rooms were spacious and the kitchen had everything we needed. We even rented electric bikes and explored the area, such a fun experience. The only thing was that the WiFi could be a bit spotty, but honestly, it was nice to disconnect a little.

Rebooked due to late check-out. However, the house was not accessible before the extra time had elapsed. This service costs extra, but the customer receives too little.
