The luxury kitchen is equipped with everything needed for cozy cooking together, including a Thermomix. A basic supply of spices, vinegar and oil, coffee, and tea is also available. In the wine rack, you will find local wines, approx. 2 € above the retail grocery purchase price, which you can enjoy during your stay. Local honey from the beekeeper is also available. For wine and honey, our guests simply leave the price marked on the goods at departure. |

The district of Hochhausen in Tauberbischofsheim is located directly on the Tauber river, ideal for hiking and cycling tours, and water sports on the river. Guests can rent bicycles and e-bikes from the bicycle dealer Esser, located only about 3 km away, or from Zweirad Schunder. Even more conveniently, bikes from Radverleih Taubertal can be delivered and picked up. Online reservation is recommended during the peak season. For a brief local break and also for children:

Access to the Tauber river is just 50 m away. Stand-up paddle boards can be rented from us on-site. Swimming is also possible here. Fishing passes available through the Tourist Information in Tauberbischofsheim.
There are public swimming pools located 5 km away in Wenkheim (25 m lane) and in Tauberbischofsheim (33.33 m lane and diving platform – Reopening after renovation in mid-2025).
For wellness enthusiasts, the Solymar Therme in Bad Mergentheim (25 km) is worth a day trip.
The dining options in Hochhausen and the neighboring areas include typical regional taverns, traditional cuisine, beer gardens, as well as Italian and Croatian cuisine. Shopping options: Nahkauf (about 800 m away) for daily needs, supermarkets E-Center, Lidl, Aldi, and dm (about 4 km away). Sunday rolls each about 5 km away at Kilian Bäck towards the Tauberbischofsheim freeway entrance or at the café/baker in the E-Center in Wenkheim.
