Description
The Tauber Sonnen Lodge is a sustainably built holiday home, built on the site of an old house in the middle of the village. Inside, the natural construction and pleasant indoor climate can be felt through visible wooden ceilings and solid wood furniture, complemented on the outside by a terrace with sauna. The whole house stands on the roof of a high garage with parking facilities for the guests and thus has privacy, although it is located in the middle of the village
Inside, the attic has two bedrooms for a total of four people, the large bathroom and a workspace
The living level below consists of a loft-like great room that combines a Nolte dream kitchen, dining area and living room
An additional shower room completes the offer.

The Hochhausen district of Tauberbischofsheim is located directly on the Tauber River, ideal for hiking and cycling tours.
Guests can rent bicycles and e-bikes from the bicycle dealer Esser, only about 3 km away. Access to the Tauber River is only 20 m away. Stand-up paddle boards can be rented on site.
The gastronomy in Hochhausen and the neighbouring villages offers typical regional wine taverns, home-style cooking, beer gardens as well as Italian and Croatian cuisine.
Shopping facilities: Nahkauf (approx. 800 m away) for daily needs, supermarkets E-Center, Lidl, Aldi and dm (approx. 4km away).

The special thing about this accommodation is the high-quality and complete equipment. Here, the holiday begins from the very first second, because the basic equipment includes chilled drinks and coffee - arrive and relax.
Classic car lovers can rent two vehicles from us: Jaguar E-Type or Morgan plus 8 and take unforgettable tours.
Sports enthusiasts can bring bicycles or rent them nearby. The cycle path through Liebliche Taubertal passes directly by the house, as does a branch of the famous long-distance hiking trail Jakobsweg. We rent stand-up paddle boards for fun on the Tauber. Canoe tours on the Tauber are also possible from Tauberbischofsheim and highly recommended.
The sauna invites you to relax and unwind (infusion aromas and bathrobes are available). In addition, you can book wellness treatments on the Osflow or beauty treatments in the village.

My name is Dr. Sabine Münch. My husband Stefan and I have been running holiday flats in the lovely Tauber Valley since 2004. It all started with the Münch holiday flat in our own house. Then we gradually added the Tauber Relax Loft, the Penthouse Tauberblick Terrasse, the holiday flat Altes Rathaus, the Tauber Glamping Mobil and finally the Tauber Sonnen Lodge. All flats are located within 250 m of our private house. This way, our guests are completely to themselves, but can reach us quickly at any time if there is ever a question. We want to offer our guests a very special holiday according to their individual tastes. That's why we are happy to advise on the cycling and hiking trails in the area and have compiled plenty of information material on them. The river Tauber is only one row of houses away and so the access to the water is only 20-100 m (depending on the accommodation). We know where you can rent bicycles and offer stand-up paddle boards for a bit of refreshment on the water Stefan Münch is a master car mechanic and classic car enthusiast. You can hire our two classic cars, a Jaguar E-Type and a Morgan plus 8 in connection with a booking with us and thus make a very special trip into the beautiful surroundings.
