Description

The holiday home 'Storchennest' is ideal for families and groups of friends and couples.

There is room for 6 people (plus a small child) in our 115 m² house. There are 3 bedrooms with 2 bathrooms, each with shower and WC, at your disposal. The bathroom on the ground floor is equipped with a Finnish sauna. The highlight is the outdoor whirlpool.

The fully equipped kitchen and dining area form a perfect unit. The sitting area with leather sofas, large flat-screen TV, music system and the wood-burning stove, which provides cosy warmth, offers excellent relaxation.

You will find barrier-free accessibility on the ground floor (1 bedroom), which is suitable for wheelchairs.

Our spacious garden has a pavilion right next to the nature reserve.

The best thing is the beautiful unadulterated view of the Achterwasser, because our holiday home is in 1st row directly at the nature reserve.

For dogs brought along (maximum 2 dogs) we charge 5,00 €/day. For the outdoor whirlpool we charge an additional fee of 75,00 €.

Free cancellation possible up to 42 days before the arrival date.

A very beautiful holiday home

The house was handed over to us in impeccable condition. Communication with the person in charge on site was very friendly. She was always reachable by phone. We felt very well taken care of. The furnishings of the house are tasteful and left nothing to be desired. The website conveys a good impression. It was quite a distance to walk to the train station or to the center, but reachable. There are various supermarkets near the accommodation.

Disappointment

Unfortunately, we were disappointed by the accommodation; the price-performance ratio is absolutely not right. No one welcomed or assisted us. There were various deficiencies, such as a broken oven/refrigerator and a dirty grill/extractor hood. Unfortunately, the whole house had not been cleaned very well and everything was very outdated.

haben Sie Dank für Ihr feedback, welches wir allerdings in dieser Form nicht unbeantwortet lassen möchten. Auf mehr als 40 Bildern konnten Sie sich überaus transparent vor Antritt Ihrer Reise von der Einrichtung unseres Ferienhauses überzeugen ("what you see is what you get"). Seit über 5 Jahren erneuern wir regelmäßig und haben neue Bäder geschaffen, den Wohnbereich vollständig modernisiert (2025 neue Sitz-/Liegekombination und TV-Sessel aus Leder, neuer smarter Flachbildfernseher), 2024 neue Induktions-Herd/Backofen-Kombi und Geschirrspüler, neue Natursteinspüle und Mischbatterie, neue Deckenleuchten, Fernseher und Saunasteuerung). Im Außenbereich 2025 neuer Strandkorb und Sichtschutz whirlpool aus Robininienpfählen, Erweiterung Außenbereich zum Achterwasser mit massiver Treppe und umfangreichen Neupflanzungen, 2024 neue Gartenmöbel. Da mutet es wie Hohn an, wenn ein Gast in einer Bewertung die Einrichtung als veraltet beschreibt. Hinzu kommen regelmäßige Reparaturen, Wartungen, Serviceleistungen, um alles am Laufen zu halten. Leider hinterläßt nicht jeder Gast das Objekt so, wie er es anzutreffen wünscht.
Unsere geschätzte Hausdame ist 24/7 persönlich erreichbar und war das auch während Ihres Aufenthaltes. Weder Kühlschrank noch Herd sind defekt. Manchmal reicht ein Blick in die Betriebsanleitung. Beim Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis müssen wir uns defintiv nicht verstecken. Es gibt keine versteckten Nachtragskosten. Leider sind Sie am letzten Tag ohne ein klärendes Gespräch abgereist. Wir hoffen sehr, daß Sie sich trotzdem gut erholen konnten, immerhin haben Sie ja auch die gesamte gebuchte Zeit genutzt.
Nichts ist so gut, daß es nicht noch besser werden könnte! Wir arbeiten daran.

Simply dreamy

A very beautiful holiday home, great location, very clean and equipped with everything the heart desires. The communication with Ms. Waskow and Ms. Schmidt was very good from start to finish. The whirlpool and sauna were simply top-notch. We lacked nothing here. Leaving was not easy for us. Thank you for everything, and we will definitely come back. 100% recommendation.

Great holiday home with complete amenities

We were four for a week in the Stork's Nest. We especially liked the tasteful furnishings of the house, the large whirlpool, but also the quiet location by the Achterwasser. The kitchen had everything we needed (maybe a Nespresso machine for espresso in between), everyone found their favorite spot in the living room, and the mattresses were not too soft. We would love to come back!

1 week dream vacation - unforgettable

The holiday home is superbly equipped, leaving nothing to be desired. Everything was also available for outdoor stays. Thanks again to Mrs. Schmidt who kindly showed us and explained the house, pool, and sauna at the beginning. She was always available immediately for questions. A very diligent housekeeper. Thank you very much for that. The end of the vacation came too quickly, as we had a week of sunshine only.

We stayed at the holiday home for 4 days, it was excellently equipped with many things already available on site that you could easily replace if used up. There were four of us and we were very satisfied with the facilities, sauna, hot tub, beach chair, top kitchen, as well as games, books, and other entertainment options available. The view was great and the location was peaceful. The contact with the property manager was great, and the information that the coffee maker was not working properly was immediately addressed and replaced. Thank you for the lovely stay.
We will gladly come back and highly recommend this house to everyone.

Very beautiful and well-equipped house

The house is very beautiful and well equipped. The highlights were the sauna and the whirlpool. We had great weather and could have breakfast every day on the beautiful terrace, sunbathe on the lounger during the day, and have a cozy barbecue in the evening - all while enjoying the unobstructed view over the meadow to the Achterwasser harbor. Many things were available in the house (spices, coffee filters, sauna oils, etc.). The rental process through Mrs. Waskow was also smooth (thanks again!). ) Everything went very smoothly and we always received an immediate response. We would love to come back again.
