The vacation apartment "Nordseedüne" is located in a multi-family house on Dörper Weg in Norddeich, on the top floor of the building. You can reach the apartment through the main entrance and then either via the staircase or the elevator to the top floor (3rd floor).
The unique feature of this vacation apartment is its unique location: It is situated at the end of Dörper Weg in Norddeich, souvenir shops, restaurants, bars, and a bakery are in the immediate vicinity. It is approximately 100 meters to the dike. The cozy apartment has been equipped with great attention to detail and a sense of functionality and can accommodate up to 4 holiday guests.
The heart of the apartment is the combined living and dining area, which invites you to enjoy many beautiful hours. From the dining table, there is a direct view of the dike and the North Sea beyond. The balcony was converted into a conservatory, so that one can sit at the high table even during the cold season and watch the activities on the dyke and the North Sea. In good weather, the windows can be opened, so that one is essentially sitting on the original balcony outdoors.
The living area is equipped with a cozy sofa and two TV armchairs; additional holiday guests can take a seat on the sofa in the evening or at the dining table or the high table. The sofa can be converted into a bed with just a few simple steps, the lying surface measures 140 cm x 190 cm.
The kitchen is integrated into the living space, electric appliances such as a 4-plate ceramic hob, modern oven (with convection and microwave), dishwasher, separate microwave device, coffee machine, water and egg boiler, toaster, and large refrigerator with a separate large freezer compartment are available. The guest apartment includes a cozy bedroom, equipped with a bunk bed designed for 3 people. The lower bunk measures 140 cm x 200 cm and the upper bunk 90 cm x 200 cm. A wardrobe and a table with a chair are also in the bedroom.
For jackets and coats, there is a coat rack with a mirror in the hallway. There is ample storage space both in the bedroom and the living room. The nicely designed bathroom has a shower, a toilet, and a sink with a large mirror.
All rooms have windows, the bedroom and living room are equipped with exterior shutters.
There is a designated parking space for the car, and bicycles can be stored in a lockable bike room.
The apartment includes a TV, and internet access is provided via Wi-Fi. A high chair for children and a travel cot can be used free of charge if needed.
Car/Bicycles:
Holiday guests arriving by car have a private (free) parking space in front of the house. To the left of the house entrance, there is also a lockable bicycle storage room where bicycles can be stored and locked. There is also a lockable compartment belonging to the apartment, for example, to store suitcases during the stay. There is also a handcart and some beach toys available for free use.
Bed linen and towels:
Our holiday apartments are provided without bed linen and towels. Holiday guests usually bring these items themselves. If requested, the holiday apartment caretaker can provide bed linen and/or towels. Once the prices for these are determined, they will be added here. Pets:
Holiday guests are unfortunately not allowed to bring their pets in the entire house.
Smoking in the apartment:
The "Nordseedüne" holiday apartment is a non-smoking apartment. Smokers may use the arcade in front of the entrance to the apartment or in front of the building.

Unfortunately, we must collect the spa tax fee for the city of Norden from holiday guests and forward it to the city. Spa cards are usually sent electronically.

This vacation apartment is located in one of the prime locations of Norddeich, in the middle of the beach promenade and near the Ocean Wave water park. Small, East Frisian shops are also just a few meters away. Restaurants, ice cream cafes, and bakeries are in the immediate vicinity of the building. Norddeich offers a lot of leisure activities, both in good and bad weather. Ferry connections to the East Frisian Islands Norderney and Juist are available from Norddeich, with the ferry terminals being accessible on foot.
Additional shopping options are available in Norden, 3 km away, featuring a beautiful pedestrian zone.

Beautiful central apartment with a nice view
The apartment was clean and well-furnished. The only downside was the sleeping situation, as mentioned before, the bunk bed is a bit small for 2 adults. Especially if one is not very mobile, then it is not ideal. However, it is definitely great for children. In the end, we opted for the fold-down bed in the living area. Here, one must know that you practically have everything in one room: cooking area, dining area, and living area. It didn't bother us, as we also cooked very little. The fold-down bed is very low. If you have trouble getting up, it might not be so ideal. The mattress could be a bit more comfortable, and the pillows are very lumpy, which isn't great. However, I had my own neck roll with me, and that worked quite well.
The two armchairs were particularly cozy. You can unfold them and put your feet up.
The furnishings of the apartment were very good. The landlord and the apartment management were very nice. Although we did not meet in person, inquiries were always responded to very quickly. Since my husband had a milestone birthday during the week, there was even a bottle of sparkling wine for him from the landlord.
The location of the apartment is very good. Only a few minutes' walk to the dike, or to the seal station, and the bakery for a cozy breakfast is just a few steps away.
The apartment is on the 3rd. Floor and accessible by a small elevator. However, to enter the house, one must go up 4 steps. This must be known if one is not very mobile.
The apartment has no balcony but a small winter garden.
The shower was very slippery for me. We then placed a towel inside, and that worked quite well.

Great vacation apartment right on the beach!
The apartment was as described. We were three in the apartment when a storm front with very strong winds and a lot of rain swept over Norddeich. It was impressive to experience these natural forces from the front row. The apartment was warm, clean, super equipped, and we slept very well.
The location is unique, almost directly at the dike, next to the entrance to the spa park, the wave pool is on the same street, and a bakery is no more than 2 minutes away from the apartment. Diagonal to the starfish, we were very satisfied. We lacked nothing and will definitely come back again.

Ferienwohnung Nordseedüne
Die Wohnung ist prinzipiell sehr gut, die Lage ist top und der Blick aufs Mehr ist sensationell schön.
Aber das Etagenbett im Schlafzimmer ist für zwei Erwachsene Menschen nicht geeignet. Das obere Bett ist so niedrig, dass man sich im unterem Bett sehr leicht den Kopf oder an der Leiter die Arme stößt. Das Schrankbett ist wirklich nur eine Notlösung und sehr durchgelegen aber die Ausstattung der Wonung ist ansonsten sehr gut.

A beautiful apartment with a great view
The apartment has everything you need and is nicely furnished.
At night it was quiet, so you could sleep well.
Thanks to the fly screens, you could also leave the windows tilted. Storage space is more than sufficient
The location couldn't be better; you are at the beach in 5-6 minutes, bakeries and other shops are in direct proximity, as well as restaurants, etc.
We would vacation here again at any time
Ideal for two adults and possibly one or two children
Bicycles can be easily stored in a locked room
