Enjoy the peace, surrounded by meadows - this is possible at the Striep 4 holiday home. The only sounds you will hear are those of nature. And at night it is still really dark and you can look at the beautiful stars.
Striep 4 is a monumental farmhouse, which gives the house charm and character, but also means that it is not allowed to be remodeled. The front and back entrances are therefore low by today's standards, please consider this. On the ground floor of the holiday farm, there is a spacious living room with a seating area and a cozy wood stove. There is also a cozy dining kitchen with a large table and chairs. On the ground floor, there are two bedrooms, a double and a single, both bathrooms are located on the ground floor, one bathroom with shower, sink, and toilet, and a second bathroom with shower and toilet. Separate toilet.
On the first floor, there is a double room and a single room. Around the house, there is a large lawn area where you can play or relax to your heart's content.

Terschelling
Terschelling is the third Wadden Island of the Netherlands from the west. The island is bordered by the North Sea to the north and the Wadden Sea to the south. Vlieland is located to the southwest of Terschelling, and Ameland to the east. Throughout the year, many tourists come to the island for wonderful biking trips and walks along the beach and through the dunes. Besides its unique nature, Terschelling also offers great attractions like the harbor of West-Terschelling, built in the only bay in the Netherlands, and the Brandaris, the lighthouse that has stood as a symbol of the island for more than 400 years above the rooftops.
The island has six villages: West-Terschelling, Midsland, Hoorn, Formerum, Lies, and Oosterend. Many events take place on Terschelling: the annual Oerol Festival in June, the Brandaris Race (a sailing race from Harlingen), the "Berenloop" Marathon, the Terschelling Film Days, and a Lifeboat Day.
Striep:
The place or hamlet of Striep (also called Seerijp or Zeerijp) was established at a drainage sluice on the Wadden Sea dike on the island of Terschelling. In the Middle Ages, Striep was the residence of the island nobility. In 1545, a small castle was built for Cornelis van Bergen, a nobleman and the lord of Terschelling. Later, the Counts of Arensberg lived here.
In 2009, 'Striep' finally became the official name of the place, after it had mostly been called the hamlet of Seerijp before. Striep used to refer to a very old settlement located west of today's Striep. A remnant of this is the Strieperkerkhof, the cemetery southwest of Midsland.

The most beautiful spot of Terschelling
For three years now, we have been coming to Holiday Home Striep 4, and we want to go nowhere else. Detached in the polder, within walking distance of the Wadden Sea and the village of Midsland, it is the ideal place to relax, enjoy nature, and serve as a base for walks and bike rides; in short: the ultimate Terschelling experience. The ancient, picturesque house has everything you could want: four bedrooms, two bathrooms, three toilets, a spacious eat-in kitchen, and a generous living room, surrounded by a large lawn garden. Ideal for a family or friends. If you have the chance to stay here: do it!
