Apartment Kluut is quietly located in the middle of the island of Terschelling, near the Landerum duck decoy. In the large, quiet garden, you can relax wonderfully. Within walking distance, there is a bicycle rental and a supermarket.
The simple but well-furnished apartment has a small living room with an open kitchenette. Via a rather steep staircase in the room, you reach the first floor, where the bedroom is located. There is a comfortable double bed and there is a sink. The bathroom with shower and toilet is on the ground floor. There is Wi-Fi available throughout the apartment.
The apartment is located in the heart of the island. In the evening, you can see the light of the Brandaris lighthouse.
Due to the stairs, the apartment is less suitable for guests who have difficulty walking.

Terschelling
Terschelling is, counting from the west, the third Frisian Island of the Netherlands. The island is bordered to the north by the North Sea and to the south by the Wadden Sea. To the southwest of Terschelling lies Vlieland and to the east Ameland. Throughout the year, many tourists come to the island for magnificent bike rides and walks along the beach and through the dunes. Besides its special nature, Terschelling also has great attractions to offer such as the harbor of West-Terschelling, built in the only bay of the Netherlands, and the Brandaris, the lighthouse which has stood as a symbol of the island for more than 400 years above the rooftops.
The island has six villages: West-Terschelling, Midsland, Hoorn, Formerum, Lies, and Oosterend. Many events take place on Terschelling: the annual Oerol Festival in June, the Brandaris Race (a sailing race from Harlingen), the "Berenloop" Marathon, the Terschelling Film Days, and a Lifeboat Day.
Landerum:
On Terschelling, with fewer than 100 inhabitants, is the village of Landerum. Along the main street, there is a range of farms and houses. Originally, Landerum is an agricultural village with a focus on livestock breeding. Currently, there are still 2 dairy farmers in Landerum. Most of the farms have been converted and prepared for renting out apartments to tourists. In Landerum, there is a car repair shop and a riding horse rental.

You can obtain information about prices and the crossing from Rederij Doeksen by calling +31 (0)88-9000888 or visiting rederij-doeksen.nl/de. If you want to take your car to the island, early reservation is required; without a car, reservation is recommended.
After booking, we kindly ask you to pay 50% of the total amount within 2 weeks, and the remaining balance must be paid 6 weeks before arrival. For bookings made within 6 weeks of arrival, we require payment of the full amount within 3 days.
You will pay a deposit of €100.00. This will be refunded to your account within 2 business days after departure.
