Description
A very nicely furnished holiday apartment, only 150 meters to the beach for max. 3 people + 1 toddler.
Absolute proximity to the beach, bright and modern furnishings.
In spring 2020, the holiday apartment was completely renovated and newly equipped.
Family vacation possible through adjoining 2nd apartment ()
A sauna can be booked individually (60 minutes €4 via a coin meter) and a wind-protected wooden terrace invites you to sunbathe.
The sauna is exclusive only for this holiday home!! E-bikes can be stored on the property and the parking space has a charging station for electric cars (billing based on consumption).
A beautiful long natural sand beach, the fantastic cliffs, and a great playground are only a few minutes away.

Holiday home "Big Wave" – we will come back!
Those looking for relaxation, comfort, and true hospitality will find it at the holiday home "große Welle" in Schönhagen. The accommodation of the Hoffmann family leaves nothing to be desired: The house is bright, modern, and impeccably clean. Everything has truly been thought of in the furnishings. The highlight is the private sauna, where one can wonderfully relax after long beach walks. The beach is only a one to two-minute walk away! The stay is crowned by the incredibly warm and loving care of the hosts. One feels welcome from the very first second. An absolute 5-star accommodation that we can recommend without reservation!

Pure relaxation
If you are looking for peace and relaxation, you are in the right place! You can really switch off from the stress and hustle of everyday life! There was even a sauna! 5 min. to the beach invite for daily walks or swimming. Those who enjoy cycling are well accommodated here.
I will definitely come back! For me, it was the ideal vacation!

Two beautiful weeks
We spent two very beautiful and relaxing weeks in the wonderful vacation apartment Karin Große Welle. The apartment offers everything you need; you feel comfortable from the first minute. Friendly, bright, clean, practical, and furnished with a lot of love for detail. Beautiful kitchen equipped with everything you need, nice bathroom with spacious shower, beds with good mattresses (I slept very well there), a nice quiet terrace that we enjoyed using in the sunshine. We really enjoyed the walks on the beach, the trips by bike (very nice bike paths, some also along the beach), and by car. Thank you very much to the Hoffmann family. We will come back.

Fantastic
Dear Hoffmann Family,
thank you very much for your warm welcome in your beautiful holiday home. For us, it is a great place to escape everyday life and recharge. There is really nothing missing – everything is perfectly equipped.
We are particularly taken with the cozy and quiet terrace; it is the absolute highlight for us. Everything is super clean and simply wonderful. The proximity to the Baltic Sea is unique, allowing one to quickly jump in at any time – this makes the stay particularly refreshing.

herzlichen Dank für Ihren so herzlichen Empfang in Ihrem wunderschönen Ferienhaus. Für uns ist es ein toller Ort, um dem Alltag zu entfliehen und neue Kraft zu schöpfen. Es fehlt wirklich an nichts – alles ist bestens ausgestattet.
Besonders die gemütliche und ruhige Terrasse hat es uns angetan, sie ist für uns das absolute Highlight. Alles ist super sauber und einfach wunderbar. Die Nähe zur Ostsee ist einzigartig, sodass man jederzeit schnell mal hineinspringen kann – das macht den Aufenthalt besonders erfrischend.

Es gab ein Begrüßungsgeschenk in Form des kleinen Seebär Björn, einen netten Brief und zwei Flaschen Strandlager, die wir während der Woche auf der Terasse genossen haben.
Die Terasse war wunderbar und wenn das Wetter es zuließ haben wir dort gelesen, oder auch etwas gegessen.
Bis zur Uferpromenade, sprich Meer sind es wirklich nur 2-3 Gehminuten und in der Nähe findet man auch einen Laden für Lebensmitteleinkäufe. Es gibt in Schönhagen auch noch einen Bäcker.
Wir fanden den Strandabschnitt mit verschiedenen Bänken sehr ansprechend angelegt.
Um abends mal etwas essen zugehen, gab es eine Strandbude, einen Grill und ein Lokal.
Wer mehr Auswahl und Geschäfte zum shoppen sucht, wäre falsch, aber für uns hat es wunderbar gepasst.
Die Kommunikation mit Fam. Hoffmann als Vermieter hat reibungslos geklappt und wir bekamen im Vorhinein sogar eine Mail mit Links über die Gegend und mögliche Attraktionen.
Da wir unseren Urlaub erst sehr kurzfristig buchen konnten, hatten wir noch das Glück, dass der Preis ein Angebot war, sehr nett.
Also alles in allem eine Urlausadresse, die wir gerne weiterempfehlen.
Die Wohnung bietet alles, was man benötigt: die Küchenausstattung ist in sehr gutem Zustand, es gibt ausreichend Stauraum für Kleidung, die Koffer können unter der Dachschräge verstaut werden, für Unterhaltung sorgen (wenn man's braucht) Bücher und DVDs. Es sind die Kleinigkeiten, die den Urlaub perfekt machen: genügend Kleiderbügel, zahlreiche Steckdosen, liebevolle Dekoration, ... Die gesamte Wohnung, Geschirr und der Grill waren in einwandfrei sauberem Zustand. Sauna und Kaminofen haben wir nicht genutzt, das wäre aber alles ohne Zusatzaufwand möglich gewesen. Die hinzugebuchten Handtücher (3 pro Person) wurden nach einer Woche ohne Mehrkosten ausgewechselt. Das Schlafzimmer (Dachgeschoss) lässt sich durch Fenster an drei Seiten auch im Sommer gut durchlüften.
Die mitgebrachten Räder konnten wir regensicher unterbringen, sogar Lademöglichkeiten hätte es im Unterstand gegeben. Der Garten ist inzwischen deutlich grüner als auf den Fotos, am Seitenstreifen stehen Rosen, Hortensien und Lavendel. Nachmittags und abends kann man die Sonne auf der Terasse genießen.
Eine Bäckerei mit reichhaltiger Auswahl ist in 3 Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar, der Strand mit guter Infrastruktur ebenfalls.
Ein besonderes Lob hat Familie Hoffmann verdient. Die Kommunikation verlief vom ersten Moment an vorbildlich (prompte Rückmeldungen über Zahlungseingänge, schnelle Reaktion auf Fragen). Wir wurden persönlich begrüßt, offen und herzlich empfangen und mit Tipps und Empfehlungen versorgt. Dennoch hat man in der Wohnung sein eigenes, uneinsehbares Reich und Privatsphäre. Man merkt, dass es den Gastgebern wirklich eine Herzensangelegenheit ist, dass ihre Gäste eine schöne Zeit haben!
Die Gegend ist perfekt zum Radfahren und für Ausflüge zwischen Flensburg und Kiel. Da wir bei weitem noch nicht alles gesehen haben, kommen wir gerne nochmal wieder!
