The village of Schönhagen is located approx. 5 km from Kappeln 140m from the beautiful sandy beach in Schönhagen, quietly situated on the edge of a holiday home settlement with Danish holiday homes, this house leaves nothing to be desired.
In an unspoilt holiday landscape characterised by wide beaches, picturesque cliffs and idyllic bays, you will find the Baltic resort of Schönhagen, a district of Brodersby, directly on the Baltic Sea.
Schönhagen is located in the north of the Schwansen peninsula, which is surrounded by water on three sides. The Eckernförde Bay in the south, the open sea in the east and the Schlei in the north and west form the framework. Schönhagen's guests particularly love the beach, which is around 1000m long and connects seamlessly with the beach in Kappeln. In the south, the beach borders on the steep coast. Along this impressive cliff you reach the nature reserve "Schwansener See" in the south, a supervised bird sanctuary. Here, between beach and dunes, reeds and sparse forests, is the habitat for a variety of birds, amphibians and plants. In order to protect the diverse life, a footpath and cycle path runs at a suitable distance. All year round, this small holiday resort offers a good programme of events - in summer especially for families with children. Schönhagen is too small for a "proper" promenade. If you want to relax in peace and quiet, you can easily do without it.

Sehr schöner Urlaub
Schnell und unkompliziert gebucht, kamen wir mit drei Personen in einem saubern und keine Wünsche offen lassenden Ferienhaus an. Die Sauna ließ einen nach einem frischen Strandspaziergang schnell wieder warm werden und die Abende am Kamin in dem passend möblierten Haus regten zu interessanten Gesprächen an. Wer außerhalb der Saison Ruhe und salzige Meeresluft sucht und gerne ausgedehnte Spaziergänge unternimmt, ist hier genau richtig.
Vor Ort gibt es fußläufig kleine Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, wer gut zu Fuß ist, der genießt die Natur und findet das eine oder andere versteckte Restaurant/Hotel mit orstüblicher Hausmannskost in den Nachbarorten. Wer mobil ist, kann sich kulturelle Unterhaltung in den Nachbarstädten Kappeln und Eckernförde suchen.

Toller Strandurlaub!
Ein Ferienhaus das hinsichtlich der Lage und der Ausstattung keine Wünsche offen lässt. Toller Sandstrand, Ruhe und Erholung sicher. Der Service vor Ort ist sehr freundlich und kompetent.
