Description
Welcome to the "Morgensonne" holiday flat in Dresden, Saxony! This charming holiday flat comfortably accommodates 2 guests in 38 square metres of living space. It has a bedroom with a double bed, a living room with an additional sofa bed, a modern bathroom and a fully equipped kitchen - ideal for a comfortable and relaxing stay in Dresden.
The flat's kitchen is equipped with modern appliances including a fridge-freezer, oven, dishwasher, microwave and soda stream. If you don't want to miss out on your morning coffee - hopefully in the most beautiful sunshine - you can simply use the Tassimo machine or the classic coffee machine. For tea drinkers, there is also a kettle and a selection of teas. The kitchen has a nice little table and chairs where you can enjoy your meals.
The cosy living room is equipped with comfortable furniture and a smart TV and offers a cosy atmosphere for perfectly relaxed evenings at home. If you like, you can sit in the cosy armchair and listen to the crackling wood in the nostalgic tiled stove. The sofa can be used as a sofa bed and offers additional space for 2 guests.
The bedroom is lovingly furnished with a comfortable double bed with high-quality bed linen for a restful night's sleep.
The small bathroom is modern and has a shower, washbasin with vanity unit and large illuminated mirror. A selection of toiletries is also provided.
This is a non-smoking flat with WLAN guest access. If you can't or don't want to leave your pet at home, please enquire on a case-by-case basis whether it is possible to bring it along. This charming flat is ideal for couples, single travellers and families of all ages.
Business travellers who wish to rent regularly are also welcome. Long-term lettings are also possible - it is best to enquire in person. Of course, longer stays will result in a more favourable accommodation price. We will then agree on this individually.

Location and surroundings of object
Easily accessible from the motorway and by public transport, the "Morgensonne" holiday flat is located in the northern part of the Saxon state capital of Dresden. Situated in the Dresden-Trachenberge district, the listed building with the holiday flat on the 1st floor is surrounded by beautiful architecture and nature. You can enjoy the view of the city and the surrounding trees while looking through the windows of the flat or taking a walk in the neighbourhood. If you would like to explore the surrounding area with its old vineyards, villa neighbourhoods and breathtaking panoramic views, just let us know and we will give you directions for possible walks.
Food
A bakery-bistro is just a few steps away from the holiday flat. The quaint Schnabel bakery is just a few metres further along the street. The very nice Café Genuss is just one street away. You can also satisfy your hunger at the nearby Trachenberger Platz and Hubertusplatz. There is a large selection of international culinary delights on offer here. There is also a delicious Italian restaurant about 1 kilometre away.
Shopping
There are several supermarkets, drugstores and many other shopping facilities within a radius of 1 km.
And if you don't feel like leaving your cosy holiday flat from time to time or just want to put your feet up after long excursions, you can have something delivered - whether it's supermarket shopping, drinks or "meals on wheels", simply enjoy the advantages of a big city and have it delivered. The detailed host tips are of course available in advance.
Transport
The holiday flat is well connected to public transport. The bus stop for several bus routes is just 200 metres from the flat. The tram is also only 500m away. The S-Bahn is 900m away. It is also possible to hire a bicycle, an e-scooter or a car. The hire stations are just around the corner.
Excursion destinations
The "Morgensonne" holiday flat is a very good starting point for exploring the city of Dresden and the surrounding area. Dresden's lively Neustadt district is only approx. 2 km away. The city centre of Dresden with its historic, impressive architecture with the Canaletto View and Brühl's Terrace, the Albertinum, Frauenkirche, Zwinger, Semper Opera House, Royal Palace with many museums - to name but a few - is just 4 km away.
The S-Bahn also takes you quickly to Radebeul with its idyllic vineyards, Wackerbarth Castle, the old village centre "Altkötzschenbroda" directly on the Elbe with lots of flair and the Karl May Museum. If you want to go further afield, Meissen with its imposing Albrechtsburg Castle and world-famous porcelain is just 20-30 minutes away. If you take the S-Bahn in the other direction, you can reach Saxon Switzerland via the main railway station and the adjoining Dresden shopping mile "Prager Straße" without having to change trains, where you can go hiking and visit the spa town of Rathen, the Bastei and the rock theatre or Königstein Fortress.

Wonderful stay
The apartment is great. The typical high ceilings, large windows, very stylish furnishings. We were four people and all felt very well taken care of and comfortable. The kitchen is fully equipped, there is plenty of cutlery and crockery, and many spices.
There are different types of pillows in the bedroom, you will definitely find one suitable for sleeping. It can be darkened well.
The entire apartment is lovingly decorated and there are many useful items (such as city map, umbrella, slippers, Tassimo, scent diffuser).
The connection to public transport is close by and buses and S-Bahn trains run regularly, you can reach the city center in 15 minutes.
It was great there and the host family was helpful and accommodating.
We would recommend the apartment and would book it again immediately on our next visit.

Beautiful city apartment with "morning sun"
Our short stay in Dresden was unforgettable thanks to Jan Bartusch and his wife Jana Ruhe. Many thanks. The apartment is very well equipped, exceptionally clean, and furnished with great attention to detail - we felt at home. The hosts are very friendly, warm, and always provided us with great tips. The restaurant recommendation was a hit! The apartment not only charms with its charm but is also perfectly located. The old town and the Dresden Neustadt are easily accessible by foot in some places. We will gladly come back - soon. Sarah and Sabrina.

Lovingly furnished and well-equipped holiday apartment
I was in Dresden for several days on a business trip and came across this vacation rental because I didn't want to stay in a hotel.
By car, I was there in 10 minutes from the highway (I found a parking space right in the street). The city center is similarly quick to reach. A bus stop with several lines is a minute's walk away, and there is also a tram stop nearby. So, you can quickly reach the city center or the nearest train station even without a car.
The key handover with the owners of the apartment was uncomplicated and friendly, and they offered support if needed. The apartment was consistently lovingly designed. My highlight (although not used by me) was the original tiled stove in the living room. The kitchen was very well equipped, so you could really cook there. There was also fresh fruit and small drinks in the refrigerator. A fresh bouquet of flowers was in the living room. In the bedroom, a welcoming bed was waiting, and in the small bathroom with a shower, one could feel very comfortable.
All in all, I was completely satisfied and would love to come back next time I'm in Dresden, whether for private or business reasons.

The morning sun is shining? ☀️
The holiday apartment "Morning Sun" in Dresden is a truly wonderful place for an unforgettable stay. The modern amenities and inviting atmosphere make it an excellent choice. From the fully equipped kitchen to the perfectly designed bedroom, every detail is carefully thought out. The highlight was the tiled stove in the living room. There is simply nothing missing. The transportation to the city center is excellent, and there is ample parking right on the street. I can highly recommend this holiday apartment and look forward to my next visit already.
