Our cosy holiday home for 2-4 persons is located approx. 5 km outside Mörlunda. Pets by arrangement. Here you will find peace, relaxation and the opportunity to go on a discovery tour, either in the forest that surrounds our property, or further afield, for example in Vimmerby in the footsteps of Astrid Lindgren. More about this in the next section.
Our house is equipped with 1 double bed (160 x 200 cm) and 2 single beds. The kitchen and the small bedroom are newly renovated. The living room, bathroom and upper floor are still of an older standard, but well maintained!
The kitchen is well equipped with induction hob, oven, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, coffee machine, kettle and toaster. The dining area is also located in the kitchen. The kitchen stove (kitchen witch) can also be used in winter.
The bathroom is small, but has everything you need, i.e. shower, washbasin and toilet. There is a fireplace in the living room, which quickly brings the whole house up to a cosy temperature in the colder months. Is there anything nicer than the smell of burning firewood in the fireplace? Pure cosiness!
German satellite TV is available for your viewing pleasure and WLAN is also installed.
The covered terrace is located next to the rear entrance. Here you can enjoy the day from morning to evening. Of course you can also enjoy the cosy garden. There is plenty of garden furniture available.
Please note that smoking is not permitted in the house.

Location and surroundings of object
Our house Bölöbro is located in the small village of Stora Bölö, about 5 kilometres from Mörlunda. Bölöbro is surrounded by forest and the nearest neighbour is about 200 km away. The house has a boat mooring on Våmmesjö, which you can reach after a short walk of approx. 300 metres. A short boat trip on the lake is always a pleasure.
The ICA market in Mörlunda, where you will also find the post office and an ATM, is where you can buy your daily groceries. The nearest good bathing area is only about 3 kilometres away at Lillesjö. If you want to go fishing, you can do so on the river Emån, for example, which meanders through Mörlunda's countryside and has good fishing spots in many places. There are pike, perch and many other fish in the river. There are also several good fishing lakes within a radius of 25 kilometres. The easiest way to get fishing licences for the lakes and the Emån is via ifiske.se.
Mörlunda and its surroundings are nestled in the Emån river valley, which winds its way to the Baltic Sea and is bordered by the hilly landscape of Småland. There are plenty of opportunities for hiking, running, cycling, fishing, cross-country skiing in winter or simply enjoying the peace and quiet with a good book in your hand. Astrid Lindgren has left many traces not far from here, the original filming locations of 'Children in Bullerby' or 'Michel of Lönneberga'. Vimmerby, Astrid's birthplace, is only 40 kilometres from here, with a few nice little shops and of course Astrid-Lindgrens-Värld, an adventure park and Astrid-Lindgrens-Näs, an exhibition about Astrid's life and work and her birthplace. If you would like to see moose, Målilla Moose Park is just 15 kilometres away, where the moose can also be fed. Or why not spend an evening at a speedway league race? The track is located in the middle of the forest between Mörlunda and Målilla. For shopping fans, a trip to either Kalmar (in the south) or Jönköping (in the north) or Växjö (in the south-west) is worthwhile. All cities are about 1.5 hours' drive from Mörlunda and, apart from the shopping centres, are well worth a visit. From Kalmar you can reach the island of Öland via a bridge, which is also definitely worth a visit!

Soul tension
Beautifully located cottage, surrounded by forest that makes you forget the everyday life of the city. Shopping options for daily hunger and thirst are available in about 10 minutes by car. The landlords are very nice and provided us with helpful information regarding swimming lakes, etc. Simply top! Would we vacation there again... yes, definitely.

Beautiful holiday home in a prime location
It is a beautiful holiday house, tastefully furnished in a quiet location in the middle of the forest. It is ideal for anyone looking for peace, who enjoys hiking in nature and wishes to explore sights around, such as the moose park, Astrid Lindgren, and much more. It is a property for young and old, especially for children.

Dreamlike holiday home
The holiday home is wonderfully quiet in the forest. Mörlunda with ICA can be reached by car in about 15 minutes. The surrounding area is great for cycling and hiking. There are also numerous swimming spots, which are easily accessible by bike at Lillessjön and Hesjön. The landlady is always reachable and incredibly friendly. She has furnished the house very tastefully, and one quickly feels at home there!

Holiday home located in the forest
Beautiful cozy holiday house located in the forest. Everything was clean and nothing was missing. The landlords are very nice and are always reachable for questions and quick on-site. Thank you very much for everything, we felt very comfortable.
