Description
Typical, child-friendly Swedish 'villa' on a beautiful approx. 1600 sqm plot with fruit trees. Very quiet location, at the end of two cul-de-sacs, but also not far "from the action"
Even the daily shopping (fresh bread rolls;-) can be done on foot (5 min).
The living area is approx. 145 sqm and has a kitchen with 4 hot plates, coffee machine, kettle, crockery and cutlery for up to 12 people, pots, pans, etc. A spacious living area and a bathroom with shower and toilet

On the upper floor there are three bedrooms
Large bedroom: 2x90x200cm double bed (can be extended to a 2.60x2.00m family loft with guest bed provided).
Bedroom 2: bunk bed (top 80x200cm / bottom 140x200cm
Bedroom 3: double bed 2x80x200cm)
...and another bathroom with large corner bath. There is a TV (LCD 42") / satellite system with German channels, DVD - and Blue Ray player for cosy evenings and a Playstation IV with a few games. A stereo system is also in the house. A washing machine and a drying machine are available. The terrace in front of the house offers a cosy dining area. In summer 2017 we built a spacious (approx. 35 sqm) wooden veranda behind the house. A huge lounge - corner for up to 10 people is ready for use (July 2018 / see photos). A sufficiently large barbecue is available, an open fireplace (please check in summer whether open fires are allowed - sometimes this is prohibited during prolonged dry spells) in the garden and several bicycles are also available for free use. The available canoes can be used for a small usage fee (15€/set per length of stay). Included in the set is a boat, paddles, life jackets, a mash barrel for safe and above all dry storage of water-sensitive items, as well as a two-piece roof rack (for roof rails!). In addition, we have an electronic dartboard in the shed that can be attached to the outside wall of the shed. This is a great way to play darts outside ;-) In the picture gallery you will find some photos of the items described here.

Location and surroundings of object
In the middle of beautiful Smaland, our cottage is located on the edge of a small village called Mörlunda. Mörlunda itself has a small supermarket within walking distance. The village is situated between the small towns of Hultsfred and Högsby, in the middle of Astrid Lindgren's book world. The town where Astrid was born (Vimmery) is only a 20-minute walk away. There is also the famous ASTRID LINDGRENS VÄRLD amusement park with Pippi Longstocking's villa. Lönneberga, Katthult etc. are not far away either.
Our town is flanked by the very tranquil river Eman, where the Swedish king also likes to try his luck.

Whoever rents the house may also use everything. Free of charge, of course. The barbecue is just as much a part of it as the bicycles and of course the shed on the property can be explored. There you will also find a dartboard or a game of croquet, for example, which we like to use to pass the time
The only exception is the two canoes, which have to be paid for. Since they are not cheap and have to be repaired from time to time, we charge €15 per canoe, including life jackets, roof racks and a drying drum, per length of stay.

Great vacation in Sweden
A wonderful holiday in Sweden is unfortunately behind us again. We couldn't have found a better place than Villa Vänlig - everything is super-cozy and very comfortable. There is everything (and more) available to feel at home and at the same time enjoy the holiday feeling. The location is extremely quiet and yet so central that there are plenty of excursion possibilities - so even with less than optimal weather, boredom definitely won't arise. The utensils available in the house (including books, games, paddle boats, and bicycles) ensure that every day can become a new adventure.

Perfect family holidays
Hej Hej,
that was a Swedish holiday straight out of a picture book. And the perfect place to stay, Villa Vänlig. What Götz and his family have built here is simply relaxing and cosy. Nothing is perfect - but everything is there. So it's not sterile, but simply super-cool. And there is enough space for the patchwork family with 4 adults, 3 children and a dog. We will be back!

Bedenkenlos zu Empfehlen für Groß und Klein
Wir waren nun schon das zweite Mal in diesem Haus und können es nur empfehlen. Das Haus hat alles was man brauch, zwei Schlafzimmer für Erwachsene, ein Schlafzimmer für Kinder, einen großen Esstisch wo alle sitzen können, gemütliche Couch, Playstation zur beschäftigen und vieles mehr. Und dies war nur im Haus, draußen erwartet euch ein schöner großer Garten mit vielen Apfelbäumen, gemütlicher Terrasse, Grill, Schaukel, kleines „Baumhaus“, man kann sich also drinnen als auch draußen beschäftigen. Die Lage ist auch Prima um Tagestouren zu starten, sei es zu einem See oder zum Wandern. Dafür kann man Prima eins der Fahrräder nehmen oder mit dem Kanu losziehen, Langweilig wird es nicht.
Zum Einkaufen gibt es einen Supermarkt im Dorf, der ist zu Fuß auch schnell erreicht, 5-10min., oder eine kleine Pizzeria falls man mal keine Lust auf kochen hat.
Fazit, bedenkenlos zu empfehlen und wir werden bestimmt ein drittes Mal dort hinfahren.

Schweden, Smaland,Traumhaft
Das Haus ist mit Allem ausgestattet was zum Leben braucht. Die Schlafzimmer im 1 OG sind toll. In den Betten haben wir alle traumhaft gut geschlafen. Der Garten mit Baumhaus und die Veranda haben wir intensiv genutzt. Da die Lage etwas weg vom Wasser ist hatten wir abends KEINE Mücken. Die Fahrräder war allen funktionsfähig und für jede Größe ist etwas dabei. Die Kanadier mit Zubehör waren oft im Einsatz. Sie liegen toll im Wasser und man kann in der Umgebung tolle Touren machen. Die Gegend bietet tolle Ausflugsmöglichkeiten. Danke auch für die tolle Broschüre mit Tipps. Wir kommen wieder.

Einfach Traumhaft - sehr empfehlenswert
Ich weiß gar nicht wo ich beginnen soll. Also zunächst ein großes Lob an die Vermieter. Von A-Z lief alles reibungslos, schnell & unkompliziert. Vielen Dank. Auch das Ferienhaus lässt keine Wünsche offen!!! Alles ist genauso wie beschrieben. Und gerade die "kleinen" nicht perfekten Dinge, machen dieses Haus zu einem wunderschönen Domizil. Wir haben uns einfach rundherum wohl gefühlt. Der riesige Garten war für unsere Kinder ein wahres Paradies. Auch der Standort des Ferienhauses ist genial. Zu Fuß erreicht man in 5 min. ein Lebensmittelgeschäft , wo wir jeden Morgen unsere frischen Brötchen bekamen. (Und das wissen wir sehr zu schätzen, denn wir sind öfter in Schweden und das ist echter Luxus!!!) Alle Ausflugsziele, die wir besucht haben, sind für schwedische Verhältnisse schnell zu erreichen :-). Hier auch noch mal ein großes Lob an den Vermieter. Im Eingangsbereich hängt eine große schwedische Landkarte auf der sehr viele Sehenswürdigkeiten etc. mit Stecknadeln markiert sind. Dies hat uns sehr geholfen und wir haben hierdurch den ein und anderen Ort, den wir sonst nicht gefunden hätten, für uns endeckt. Empfehlenswert ist sicherlich der See "Maren", der quasi vor der Haustüre liegt. Fazit: Wer Zeit in der Natur verbringen möchte und die Seele so richtig baumeln lassen möchte ist hier genau richtig. Wir können uneingeschränkt dieses Ferienhaus empfehlen. Wir kommen wieder - keine Frage!!!

Wünderschön ! ! !
Wunderschönes, gemütlich, sauber und liebevoll,eingerichtetes Haus. Wir waren vier Erwachsene mit einen Baby und zwei Hunden.
Sogar ein Babybett und Hochstuhl
war vorhanden. Die Betten in den oberen Schlafräumen bequem mit absolut guten Matratzen (keine Rückenpropleme am nächsten Morgen)
Der absolute Traum ist die große Außenterrasse mit riesiger Loungegarnitur, dort haben wir bis in die frühen Morgenstunden bei Kerzenschein chillen können.
Die ruhige und doch zentrale Ortsrandlage ist idealer Ausgangspunkt zu den vielen Seen in der Nähe , Besuch des Elchparks und auch für morgens mal schnell zu Fuß Brötchen holen zu gehen.
Zusammenfassend sehr zu empfehlen um einen schönen entspannten Urlaub zu erleben mit Tier und Mensch jeden Alters !

So macht Schweden Spaß!
Wir waren mit 4 Erw. und 3 Kindern (4 Mon.; 1.5 J und 3 J.) in dem Haus, das aus gutem Grund VILLA Vänlig heißt. Alles ist sehr großzügig angelegt, so das wir uns "richtig breit" machen konnten. Durch die vielen Räume haben sich die Kinder beim schlafen auch nicht gestört, wenn der ein oder andere mal geschrien hat. Die Ausstattung ist ebenfalls prima: Trockner und WaMa sind bei den kleinen sehr hilfreich gewesen, auch die 2 Bäder waren optimal für 2 Familien. Das Ganze im kultigen Schwedenhaus Stil - mein persönlicher Favorit im Haus ist jedoch der Ofen. Ich koche gerne und trotz der Jährchen, die das Gerät auf dem Buckel hat, kann da so mancher computerverhaspelter Brenner mit Ökopegelabbremsautomatik nicht mithalten --> besonders die Pizza wurde zum Renner. Im Schuppen stehen dazu noch Fahrräder (eins mit Kindersitz), ein paar Angeln, Grill usw. Da blieb kein Wunsch offen. Zudem liegt das Haus sehr ruhig, aber trotzdem sind Supermarkt, bank und Post zu Fuß schnell erreichbar. Auch die Nachbarn sind sehr nett, die kleinen Kinder kontaktfreudig und alle sehr hilfsbereit. Im Nachbarort (Virserüm) gibts dann sogar noch eine deutsche Bäckerei. Um die Umgebung zu erkundigen hatten wir im Vorfeld ausgiebig Info-Material bekommen, zudem liegen im Haus massig Prospekte, so dass in den 2 Wochen abs. keine Langeweile aufkam. Die naheliegenden Seen sind atemberaubend und super zum Abschalten. Ein Spaßbad (mit extra Bereich für Kinder und genialer Rutsche) liegt auch in 30 Auto-Min. Entfernung (Oskarshamn). Ein paar Kilometer gen Norden liegt Vimmerby und schon ist man drin inmitten Astrid Lindgrens Welt. Rundherum ein prima Urlaub, wir kommen gerne wieder.

In the following years, we went up again and again with friends (the Sweden Crew) and gradually brought the house into its current condition. Part of the Sweden Crew is our long-time friend Dietmar and his family, with whom we have shared the house since 2013. Every year we are happy about the nice guests, in whom we have already found some really good friends. In any case, the house is one of the best decisions we have ever made;-)
