Modern duplex apartment in Willingen-Usseln with WiFi and a beautiful view of the Kahle Pön ski slope.
Anyone looking for a scenically situated, modern, and compact apartment away from the bustling main town of Willingen will find just the right place here!
Willingen-Usseln is a climatic health resort with a spa park and two ski lifts (spa park and ski lift approx. 300m from the vacation apartment), its own town center with good shopping facilities, restaurants, train station, and various family-friendly recreational facilities. The most beautiful hiking trails start 300m from the house. It is 5km to Willingen center. The distance to attractions such as the Skywalk and the Mühlenkopf ski jump is 3-4 km. The Apartment:
This apartment, completely renovated and refurbished in 2023, spans two living levels plus a communal indoor pool in the basement and is ideal for sporty vacationers, hikers, and families with children aged 4-12 years. The living area (1st floor) includes a living/dining area, balcony, kitchen, entrance, and shower room. The bedroom and an additional toilet are located in the attic.
IMPORTANT NOTE: The apartment has a 55cm wide steep staircase leading to the bedroom in the attic. The shower entry in the bathroom is somewhat cramped due to construction reasons - 38cm wide), which is why the apartment is not suitable for all individuals. Therefore, please take a look at the relevant pictures (steep stairs/shower entry) to assess suitability for your needs/requirements.

- south-facing balcony with seating group, electric grill, awning, and beautiful view of the ski slope and Kahle Pön.

The apartment can accommodate 2 adults or families with 1-2 children (sofa bed in the living room). Due to the steep stairs, children should be at least 4 years old and able to climb stairs safely.
Other equipment:
In the basement, there is an 8x4m indoor swimming pool (1.30m deep) with shower/WC for careful use (children may only use the swimming pool accompanied by their parents). Additionally, there is a coin-operated sauna. Furthermore, there is a laundry cellar with a coin-operated washing machine as well as a private lockable bicycle and ski cellar in the basement. Option: it is within walking distance. It is a small and very popular studio, therefore, if interested, an appointment should be booked before the vacation starts.

WILLINGEN/Upland in NATURPARK DIEMELSEE: Four-season holidays in the most popular holiday resort in the low mountain range. Willingen (550-843 m) is a climatic health and winter sports resort; its wide range of leisure activities is unique in Germany, which is why Willingen is popular with young and old alike with its slogan "Everything I want".
The flat is located in Willingen-Usseln - a climatic health resort and winter sports centre with its own profile!
Usseln belongs to the municipality of Willingen (5km away) and was the actual main town in Upland before Willingen until after the Second World War. If you prefer to live away from the pulsating tourist centres, Usseln is the place for you. Many Willingen residents also choose to live in Usseln, as Willingen has three times as many guest beds as inhabitants.
Usseln is also an attractive holiday resort with an individual character, many holiday flats and holiday homes, renowned hotels, numerous shops and a wide range of leisure facilities:
own spa park, outdoor pool, minigolf, Diemel spring with Graf-Stollberg-Hütte, riding stud, local history museum and attractive hiking trails.
Particularly worth seeing are the Curioseum and the Milch-MUHseum of the Upländer Bauern-Molkerei dairy. Upland is also known as the "Allgäu of the North" due to its meadow hills and intensive dairy farming.
In winter, there are two ski lifts in Usseln with snow-making facilities and floodlights, numerous cross-country ski trails (only 400m from the Maisonette-Traum apartment) and the EWF Biathlon Arena (Olympic training centre with 2km of snow-covered floodlit cross-country ski trail; asphalted skating trail in summer).
Further leisure activities in the surrounding area:
Summer beach bathing on the Diemelsee; for hikers, Willingen is the top address in the Sauerland with Europe's largest high heath and eight 800 metre peaks. Ettelsberg-Hochheideturm - the highest vantage point in north-west Germany. Bike park with World Cup downhill course.
kigebiet-Willingen - one of the top mid-mountain ski areas; 15km of pistes, 6km of floodlit pistes, 11 lifts, >90 snow cannons, 80km of cross-country ski trails. Not only the après-ski is legendary, Saturday Night Fever is here all year round! The highlight is the World Cup ski jumping!

Everything was very clean. The swimming pool was great. The only thing that bothered me a little were the rules in the guest information booklet. In my opinion, that can be reduced a bit or written differently. Otherwise, everything was as described.

Mega!
The accommodation had everything you need. My daughter and I really enjoyed the time with a mega beautiful view. Many beautiful destinations are within walking distance. Gastronomy is also nearby. I couldn't find a point to deduct.

Beautiful apartment with a fantastic view!
It was a beautiful apartment with a fantastic view. Close to the forest with good walking opportunities. The kitchen had everything you might need. Great shower, though a small shower tray. Upstairs, there is a large double bed and also a second toilet, which is nice because the stairs to the upper floor are quite steep. We enjoyed our time in Usseln again. Great value for money!
A true happy nest is this well-equipped and clean apartment with a swimming pool and very good value for money. We always had the pool to ourselves, and it is large enough for a relaxing morning swim for two. We highly recommend this apartment and will definitely come back.
