The holiday home "Carolinennest****" is cosy and richly equipped
We offer you a well-kept, pet-free non-smoking house. Please refer to the occupancy calendar for available times. We are also happy to be contacted personally (see address and telephone number). The rental period should be at least one week. Short stays on request and with surcharge. You will find everything for a relaxing stay in our comfortable holiday home
Besides a spacious living/dining room, a separate kitchen, there are two bedrooms, a bathroom with shower and a guest WC. Guest WLAN is free of charge. Two parking spaces are located directly in front of the house
Our garden with sunbathing lawn, beach chair, barbecue and garden furniture invites you to relax. For cycling tours we provide three bicycles (at your own risk).
According to the guidelines of the German Tourism Association (DTV), the "Carolinennest" received four stars and the climate sponsorship as a sustainable holiday property.
Bedroom 1 is on the first floor next to the bathroom and has box-spring beds and a large wardrobe with safe and plenty of storage space, SchlZ 2 in the attic offers 2 large single beds each 2 x 1 m and has an additional SAT/TV.

Location and surroundings of object

The holiday home "Carolinennest" is located in a quiet side street in the centre of the village near the picturesque museum harbour and the extended, modernised spa "Cliner Quelle". It is therefore ideally suited for health-conscious guests who perform physical treatments in the spa centre.
In just a few minutes' walk you can reach the centre with shops, bakeries, banks etc. and varied gastronomy.
A detailed information folder gives you tips on excursion destinations in the near and far surroundings, on various golf courses, wonderful parks, castles, museums, leisure facilities for children and much more. The North Sea health resort of Carolinensiel is one of the most popular holiday resorts in East Frisia.
Once an important trading post, the town still has an intact harbour. The Sielhafen Museum, together with other historic seamen's buildings, vividly documents the history of the sieves, harbours and dikes on the North Sea coast. Adjacent to the historic harbour is a modern yacht and cutter harbour with jetties to the islands of Wangerooge and Helgoland. Carolinensiel is the only town on the North Sea to have three harbours.
Both around the historic harbour and in the town, cosy pubs and restaurants invite you to linger and enjoy.
In the centre of Carolinensiel you will find everything you need for daily life: small and large supermarkets, bakers, bank, pharmacy, shops for the "right clothes" and maritime gifts. In the immediate vicinity of the "Carolinennest" is the "Cliner Quelle" with indoor brine bath, bathing department, sauna, solariums, a children's playhouse and a fitness centre.
The coast is about 1000 m from the house. Here you will find a fine sandy beach with beach chairs, a large playground, sufficient parking spaces and, above all, the heated, well-maintained open-air seawater pool.

The fee for the Nordsee-ServiceCard is charged separately on behalf of the town of Wittmund: Adults 3,00 €/day, children from the age of 4 1,50 €/day.

Second home!

We feel at home! We take every opportunity to rent it ourselves for a week when the house is not occupied! The landlords manage to surprise us every time with changes!!!

Carolinennest - everything is very good, there is nothing to complain about.

Arriving - unlocking - at home. Home is not a place, but a feeling. This house is alive, it has a soul. Everything is lovingly decorated, and there are various decorations in the outdoor area as well. The interior is also in top condition. We have been guests at Carolinennest since 2016. The standard has remained, which is not always the case with other houses. The price has risen - the quality has decreased. Here, the price-performance ratio is right, as everything is available, and there are no additional costs for, e.g., towels and bedding. Those who like it cozy will feel comfortable in this house.

Super holiday home with great garden

We felt completely comfortable and very well looked after by the owner. For this reason, only the best ratings. It should be noted in the description that the one bedroom on the 2nd floor is difficult to reach for people with somewhat limited mobility.
I would also like to emphasise the perfect and extremely lovingly designed furnishings of the cottage.
The garden is difficult to see and is a perfect little oasis with extremely comfortable garden furniture.
We will gladly come back to this great holiday home

Restful week at the North Sea

The week in Carolinennest was particularly beautiful due to the outstanding amenities, good value for money, proximity to the town and the sea, wonderful cleanliness, and the very nice and reliable contact with the landlord. In the autumn, we could enjoy the cozy interior and admire the beautiful, private garden with the beach chair only from the window, anticipating that a summer vacation here would also be worthwhile.

Clean, friendly, almost perfect equipment and location.

Lovingly and tastefully furnished house with a lot of comfort. The mattresses on the double bed were too soft for me... I felt they were firmness level 2... I need 3. Otherwise, everything was great... great that there were bicycles available...

Wunderschönes Feriendomizil

We were a small family with our 6-year-old daughter in this very tastefully furnished house. We had wonderful space, everything was clean and tidy. The location was very convenient for us. We could walk or ride our bikes to get fresh bread in the morning, or buy the necessary items in the local supermarket. The way to the beach is a matter of taste on foot, but with the bike, it was ideal for us. Nearby excursions and activities were available, as well as in neighboring villages accessible by bike. We only used the car for arrival and departure, and once for a large shopping trip in Wilhelmshaven followed by a visit to the cinema. Otherwise, we could comfortably do without the car. This vacation was a great experience for us, and when planning for next year begins, the house and the location will be at the top of the list.

Carolinennest a house to feel comfortable in

A very well-maintained, exceptionally well-equipped, and very cozy holiday home. Central yet very quiet location, not far from the Harle River, spa house, and the morning bakery. The caretaker service was also very friendly and customer-oriented.

We were very surprised at the variety of activities and sights on offer, whether by bike, on a walk, by car, or on a ferry.

We will definitely come back.

Home

Over Easter 2015, we spent beautiful days in our vacation home. Upon arrival, we were greeted very kindly by the property management and familiarized with everything. There is nothing missing. A great house. The tasteful ambiance is reflected in loving detail and makes the stay very pleasant. The location is superb, everything within easy reach and yet quiet. Reading material, games for rainy days, etc. all available. This house can only be recommended and we will go there again this year.
