Nestled in a nature reserve between the Peene River and the Achterwasser, it lies at the foot of the legendary 18-metre-high Jungfernberg. A place full of magic and beauty awaits you.
Your spacious and light-flooded holiday home extends over two floors and offers space for a total of 4 adults and an additional small child. Enjoy absolute peace and relaxation in an ambience that perfectly combines comfort and style. The 2 bedrooms are an oasis of relaxation: one is furnished with two single beds, which can also be joined to form a cosy double bed, while the other room spoils you with an exquisite Hästens Natrually box-spring bed - a guarantee for a royal sleep. The beds are 210cm long and offer individually adjustable firmness for your personal sleeping comfort. Perfect for allergy sufferers, Hästens uses only natural materials to ensure a comfortable sleeping environment and a healthy sleeping position.
In your new temporary home, you will not only find a stylish interior, but also a well-equipped open-plan kitchen that flows seamlessly into the living room. Here you can conjure up culinary delights and enjoy a cosy evening in front of the fireplace, which provides an inviting atmosphere and cosy warmth at any time of year. The large living room also has a comfortable sofa bed with sleeping function for extra guests and a Smart HD flat-screen TV ready for relaxed film evenings - just bring your Netflix and/or Amazon Prime account.
Your personal wellness area is located on the upper floor and features a walk-in shower (90x140 cm) and a large corner bathtub that promises pure relaxation. The floor with pleasant underfloor heating ensures warm feet and a cosy atmosphere at all times.
The south-facing garden invites you to enjoy the sun all day long. Take a seat on the cosy garden furniture, including comfortable garden loungers, and let your mind wander. The adjoining lawn is perfect for children to play on and is protected by a fence, while a sandpit provides additional fun. In the summer months from the beginning of June to mid-September, there is also a garden pool, which offers refreshment and bathing fun right on the property in addition to the numerous bathing options.

Location and surroundings of object
Rankwitz is a charming village on the island of Usedom in Germany and the Lieper Winkel invites you to take long walks, cycle tours, sail, play golf (only 9km away) and feast in the nearby restaurants and pubs - such as the Rankwitzer Hafer. The island's sunsets are at their most beautiful here on the Peene River.
The seaside resorts and wide sandy beaches are just a short drive away. In addition to the Baltic Sea beaches, you will find numerous bathing spots on the Peene River (just under 1 km and within walking distance) and Achterwasser - guided canoe and SUP tours are also offered here. There's no shortage of bathing fun!
We can also organise island safaris for you in a Land Rover Jeep directly from your holiday home (subject to booking in advance). This way you can spend a day getting to know the island from a side that remains hidden to most tourists - including short walks, food and a campfire - an adventure for young and old.
Rankwitz is a tranquil old fishing village in the Lieper Winkel. There are a handful of scattered mini-villages with a total of less than 700 inhabitants spread over 33 square kilometres. Where fishermen's cottages and brick barns complete the picture-book idyll, you will want to linger forever.
The small Rankwitz harbour is an idyll. The restaurants in the harbour and in Rankwitz itself are famous for their fish. A "village shop" with bicycle hire in Rankwitz harbour provides you with (supra)regional delicacies, such as fresh bread rolls, drinks, etc. Bulk shopping can be done in the nearby town of Usedom. Discount markets on the island are also open on Sundays.
The moated castle of Mellenthin - the centre of the island of Usedom - is not far from the holiday home, is easily accessible by car or bicycle and invites all guests - big, small and four-legged - all year round. The delicacies from our own brewery and coffee roastery are not to be missed. Younger guests can pass the time on the playgrounds or by running round the moat.

- You will be refunded half of the booking amount minus the cancellation fee, if you cancel the booking at least 7 days before the planned check-in until 12 o’clock midday CET (Central European time). For cancellations which are made less than 7 days before check-in there will be no refund.
