The country house Sielmönken is the house of the former village ferryman. You will spend your holiday on a unique, large waterfront property directly on the Greetsieler Tief. Your secluded holiday paradise is a haven of peace, offering opportunities for fishing and boating – directly from the property, with two canoes ready. The large property is a play paradise for children. Milk and eggs from the producer are offered in the neighborhood. The house offers comfort for two people on the one hand and is also suitable for 6 people. The house features every comfort, washing machine and dishwasher are a matter of course, two bathrooms and four bedrooms are available, the kitchen is fully equipped, and free internet access via Wi-Fi completes the offer.

It can't get any better.
I have now been to this beautifully located house for the second time. Those seeking peace and relaxation are exactly right here. The cities of Emden and Greetsiel can be wonderfully reached by bicycle. It is always worth the trip.

Stress-free holiday
We stayed with 6 people in this very clean house. Everything was as described and even grandma could get around everywhere with her walker. We had a very relaxed week, also the contact with the landlord was very pleasant.

Beautiful days "between the years"
We stayed at the country house over New Year's Eve 2022/23 and felt very comfortable.
Especially great was the peace and quiet on New Year's Eve.
That's exactly what we were looking for and we were not disappointed.

A wonderful summer holiday
we (family with a seven-year-old child) spent 14 wonderful, relaxing and eventful days in the romantic country house Sielmönken, which we will always remember with great pleasure. The very nicely furnished and cosy house is situated on a huge property with a wonderful stock of trees and bordering on pastures and a canal. There are many beautiful things to discover and experience in the surrounding area (e.g. Campen lighthouse, Greetsiel, Rysum, Pilsum, towns such as Leer, Emden, Norden, Jever and Aurich, windmills, mudflat walks, East Frisian islands, Eternal Sea, Norddeich seal station ...). There is something for everyone, for rainy weather there are also interesting museums, and after longer tours you can wonderfully relax in the house in the rain or in the garden in sunny weather. In the morning, you are woken up by the rooster of the neighbouring farm. Cyclists also get their money's worth. The landlord was very friendly and helpful. We found it very difficult to say goodbye at the end.

Great holiday home for the family

Meer, Land, Dörfer, Leuchttürme und ... haben zum Erkunden eingeladen. Eingekauft haben wir auf den Wochenmärkten mit frisch gepulten Krabben, Emden ist der nächste, Norden der schönste. Von den Städten hat uns Leer am besten gefallen.
Kurzum, wir haben uns wie erhofft sehr gut erholt, abseits von den Ferienhaus-Siedlungen mit ihrem Einheitsbrei.
Der Nachteil daran ist nur, dass es in der direkten Umgebung keine Läden gibt, aber das wussten wir ja. Ein Auto braucht man hier sowieso und damit kommt man auch schnell in die Nachbarorte.
Das Haus war komplett ausgestattet, es fehlte nichts. Wichtig: auch die Betten waren gut, so dass wir ab der ersten Nacht gut geschlafen haben.
Toll fanden wir auch die Kajaks, mit denen man kostenlos auf dem "Neuen Greetsieler Sieltief" paddeln konnte, soviel man wollte.
Die Betreuung von Herrn Sporré war unkompliziert, nett und unaufdringlich.
Alles in Allem - hier macht man nichts falsch. Danke für alles.
Das Haus bietet viel Platz für 8 Personen, ist voll ausgestattet und
urgemütlich.
Der Vermieter war sehr nett und ansprechbar wenn man Ihn brauchte.
Gerne kommen wir wieder!

Das Haus ist mit viel Liebe sehr hochwertig eingerichtet.
Die absolut ruhige Lage ermöglicht sehr gute Erholung.
Allerdings benötigt man ein Auto für die täglichen Dinge.
Die Betreuung durch Herrn Sporré war sehr nett und freundlich.
Wir werden sicherlich wieder kommen!
Im Haus waren Bräter, Pfannen, Töpfe und Schüsseln für die Weihnachtsgerichte vorhanden. Mit dem Kamin waren die dunklene Abende gemütlich. Wir kommen im Sommer wieder zum Kajak und Radfahren.
