Welcome to our VACATION HOME KLIPPER in Dornumersiel, East Frisia, on the North Sea. Since 2024 we are the new owners of this popular holiday home.
With a living area of 95 square meters, our spacious terraced middle house KLIPPER in the residential unit HUUS GODEWIND can accommodate up to 6 people (+1 toddler) and a dog.
OCCUPANCY: the OVERNIGHT PRICE is independent of the number of people: whether you are traveling alone or occupy the house with 6 guests. Lots of space and coziness at the same price.
PETS are welcome (5.00 € per pet, per night). As a four-legged family member, your DOG is an integral part of the family environment and, of course, must not be missed on vacation in the North Sea. Our holiday home is ideal for a vacation with your dog. You can enjoy privacy and your dog doesn't need to adjust to new people, but can focus entirely on the new environment.

DORNUMERSIEL has been a North Sea resort since 1990 and has a large sandy beach with Germany's last Nivea ball.
A hidden gem on the East Frisian North Sea coast, ideal as a spa resort for a relaxing and nature-oriented vacation, very family-friendly, and is located between NESSMERSIEL and BENSERSIEL.
A place that combines North Sea flair and relaxation.
Dornumersiel has 420 residents, is located in East Frisia, belongs to the municipality of DORNUM (4800 residents) and is situated in the Aurich district. The vacation home KLIPPER is quietly yet centrally located. On foot, you can reach the supermarket with a bakery, cafes and restaurants, the harbor and sandy beach (private beach chair from April to October), the National Park House, a picturesque inland lake (Mahlbusen), spa facilities, the tourist information with offers, an ice cream parlor, museum, and small shops. Fresh fish is available directly at the harbor in the fish store during the main season. Ideal for singles, couples, dog owners, small groups, families with children, seniors, those seeking tranquility, but also active vacationers, WORKATION and HOME OFFICE in the holiday region NORTH SEA COAST, East Frisia, Dornumersiel. It is also suitable for outpatient SPAs due to the stimulating climate and proximity to the spa center.
On the eastern side is the North Sea spa BENSERSIEL with its attractions Nordseetherme Sonneninsel, a modern heated fun and leisure pool. From the harbor, you can take day trips to the car-free island of LANGEOOG.
To the west is NEẞMERSIEL, where you can reach the island of BALTRUM either by ferry or on foot during a mudflat hike. In NEẞMERSIEL on the beach, there is also the Agility Park for dogs.

Ferienhaus Klipper
Wir waren nur kurz vor Ort aber es lohnt sich auf jeden Fall. Sicher im Sommer sehr schön wenn man gemütlich draußen sitzen kann und die Kinder zum Spielplatz gehen.

Very cozy holiday home in a great location
The holiday home is centrally located in Dornumersiel. All important points in the village are within walking distance.
The house is top-notch - no wish is left unfulfilled. The rooms are spacious and equipped with everything one needs.
Especially great is the open fireplace, which guarantees cozy evenings.

We had a great week at House Klipper. The house is equipped with everything needed. We were there with a 10-month-old baby. Crib, high chair, everything is available. The rooms are nice and spacious, and the terrace also offers enough space. We will definitely come back again. We really enjoyed it.

Family vacation with bike
We were a family of 6 for a week at the holiday home Klipper. The journey with a trailer and bicycles was no problem at all, and everything went smoothly. We arrived two hours before check-in, and after a brief phone call with the property management, we were even able to enter the house early.
Everything you need is available there; we didn't even need the dish soap and hand soap we brought. Laundry detergent pods were also available in the storage room. Even the pantry was still filled with sealed food items like rice, pasta, instant mashed potatoes, etc. It was clean, the beds were comfortable. The only downside was the poor Wi-Fi reception. Unfortunately, it was almost non-existent on the upper floor. We missed a TV in the parents' bedroom, but that's nitpicking at a high level. The smart TV in the living room was great. The selection of toys and books is also large. The location is good, you can walk to the nearby supermarket, which is open daily. The ice cream parlor at the old harbor treated us to ice cream and cake every day. Very nice staff!
In good weather, you can certainly experience and discover a lot there. Unfortunately, we only had one day of sunshine, so we took the opportunity to go on a bike tour to Bensersiel. The tour along the dike was wonderful, also for children and beginner cyclists. The beach in Bensersiel is, in my opinion, nicer than the one in Dornumersiel, but the weather certainly played a big role as well.
Since we had a breakdown with our bike trailer on the first day, we can also evaluate the local blacksmith and bike rental. He helped us quickly and at a low cost.
The community center in Dornumersiel was fun for the children. There, they could ride a variety of little bikes and vehicles. All in all, it was nice, hopefully with better weather next time.
We would come again!

Relaxed family vacation with dog
A beautiful mid-terrace house in a good location, supermarket, bakery, ice cream café, harbor, and beach within walking distance. The holiday home has everything needed for a family vacation with a dog. Very well-equipped kitchen! We will definitely come back!
