Description
This family-friendly accommodation is located in the Lanterna holiday resort in Tar, Croatia. The holiday village borders directly on the sea and is therefore ideal for families. The holiday complex stretches over three kilometres with plenty of green space, pine forests, numerous bays and several beaches. In addition to a large children's pool with lots of great slides, the diverse resort also has a swimming pool, miniclub/entertainment and a great playground for children. There is also an entertainment programme for adults, a wide range of sports activities, a restaurant, pizzeria, bar, ice cream parlour and a small market. Coin-operated washing machines and dryers are also available to holiday guests. Wifi is available.
The superior accommodation offers space for a maximum of 4 adults and 2 children and consists of a master bedroom with a double bed and a children's room with two single beds. The beautiful living room with a pull-out sofa bed offers two more beds. The well-equipped kitchen is located in the living area and has a cooker, crockery, microwave, cutlery, kettle, coffee machine, pots and pans and a fridge. The two bathrooms are each equipped with a shower, washbasin and WC. An LCD TV with satellite reception is available. Bed linen and towels are included in the price. The covered wooden terrace with table, chairs, parasol and two sun loungers/deckchairs invites you to relax in comfort, while the children can let off steam in the playground or by the pool. Air conditioning is available free of charge. The accommodation is just a stone's throw from the children's pool and barbecues are permitted (gas or electric). Half or full board can also be booked on site on request. A car park is included. Travelling time from the Croatian border approx. 3 hours. Note: If you need more than one accommodation, this is usually possible with us, as we have several properties of the same house type.
DAY OF ARRIVAL + LENGTH OF STAY
In the period from 24.05.-14.09.2024 the minimum length of stay is 5 nights (daily arrival possible). In the remaining period, the minimum stay is 3 nights (daily arrival possible). Please note: If for any reason you are unable to arrive on the scheduled day of arrival, it is of course also possible to check in on the following day (please let us know before you arrive). The same applies if you wish to depart earlier. Departure the day before is also possible in this case. However, the rental period/rental price specified for booking remains unchanged.
BEACH
The holiday park has several access points to different beaches. You will find various pebble, rocky, sandy and paved beaches around the holiday park. There are free and organised sections. So you can decide whether you prefer to bring your own deckchair or hire one. Some beaches are gently sloping and therefore also suitable for families with children. Guests can also enjoy a wide range of water sports such as diving, canoeing, windsurfing and sailing. There is also a bouncy castle in the water and a beach bar on the beach. This makes the beach the ideal place to relax and sunbathe or enjoy one of the many sports activities. A quick snack can be enjoyed in the shade of the beach bar, which is open from morning to evening and offers an inviting and refreshingly tasty range of dishes. Dog owners have access to a dog beach belonging to the resort.
POOL
Holiday guests have two large pool areas at their disposal. Sun loungers and parasols by the pool can be hired. The massage jets pamper the adult guests and the younger guests have a large water park, a paddling pool with slides, a waterfall and other play equipment. The fantastic pirate ship in the children's pool is sure to make children's eyes light up.
FAMILY-FRIENDLY
In the low and high season, a group of experienced entertainers will liven up your stay in a gentle way. Football, table tennis, beach volleyball, tennis and games tournaments are organised on a daily basis. The team also organises aerobics, water aerobics and other courses. For children there is the Maro Club and for the older ones there is the Teens Lounge. There are also several great playgrounds for younger guests. Summer cinemas, games evenings and guest evenings are also organised every evening, followed by beach parties and/or dance evenings. There is a wide range of sports activities on offer: Table tennis, boccia, volleyball court and tennis courts. The holiday resort has a car wash, lockers, a market place, a boat ramp and a first aid service.
LEISURE AND SPORT
Those who want to keep fit on holiday are spoilt for choice: tennis courts, football pitch, beach volleyball, cycle paths and jogging routes. In addition, the entertainment team puts together a varied fitness programme for every day with stretching, water gymnastics and much more. Pedal boats, paddle boats, sailing boats, surfing, diving lessons and canoes can be hired/booked on the beach. Bicycle hire is also available. By bike you can follow beautiful cycle paths and enjoy the marvellous view of the crystal blue sea. Or simply enjoy a stroll along the kilometre-long beach in a truly Mediterranean atmosphere.
SHOPPING
The holiday complex has a grocery shop where you will find fresh food and a large selection of everyday items. There is also a bakery, a fish shop, a souvenir shop, a sports equipment shop, a tobacconist, a newsagent and an ATM.
CATERING
The flat has a well-equipped kitchen with crockery, cutlery, pots and pans and a fridge with freezer compartment. Shopping facilities are also close by. The holiday park also has a restaurant, a pizzeria, a grill restaurant, a take-away, a snack bar and an ice cream parlour. If you would prefer to make use of half or full board, you are welcome to book this on site (no pre-booking necessary).

LOCATION
The holiday complex is located in Tar and borders directly on the beach. This makes it ideal for families with children. A trip to Umag is definitely worthwhile. An exciting town with a charming location and the picturesque, lively old town awaits you there. A cultural highlight is a visit to the Forma Viva sculpture gallery on the Slovenian coast near Portoroz. The Dajla Monastery on the coast is a magical eye-catcher. With its bright yellow façade, wildly romantic gardens and picturesque turrets, it is an impressive excursion destination on the Adriatic coast.
TOWN AND SURROUNDINGS
The beautiful historic town of Poreč is located next to the sea. With its pine forests, promenades along the sea and restaurants on the coast, it is a true place of rest and relaxation. It is full of artistic and historical attractions and is waiting to be discovered by you. The Istralandia water park, which offers fun for the whole family, is just a few minutes' drive away. Between the two harbour towns of Umag and Pula there are several recommendable towns that are certainly worth a visit. Fazana, Rovinj, Vrsar, Porec or even Pula and Umag itself offer numerous restaurants, shopping opportunities and historical buildings that are certainly worth a visit. Various amusement parks such as Istralandia, Aquacolors or the Glavani climbing park offer great opportunities to have fun with the whole family. For nature lovers, we recommend a visit to the Brijuni Islands or the Jama-Grotta Beradine. Fish lovers are in the right place in this region! Here you can find all kinds of fish, which is prepared in many different ways. You will also find good wine in Croatia. So if you want to indulge yourself, this is the place to be. There is also plenty of entertainment in the evening. Croatians love parties, music and socialising, whether in a discotheque, on the beach promenade or in a small alley. So your evening entertainment is guaranteed. The hinterland of the coastal strip offers many forests, cycle paths and hiking trails, so those seeking peace and quiet or sports enthusiasts will also get their money's worth. The famous weekly markets are usually held daily in Porec, Rovinj and Pula.
