Description
The accommodation is located in the Borgo Alba Chiara residence in Toscolano Maderno. The complex and the accommodation were created during the restoration of an old Renaissance building from the 16th century. During the restoration, great care was taken to preserve the existing building elements such as the brick and stone vaults and the stone balconies. Let yourself be enchanted by the charm of this complex and enjoy a unique stay full of history and culture. The complex is located just a few minutes' walk from the beautiful Lake Garda. The residence also has a pool complex with two pools, which invite both young and old to splash around together. Guests also have access to a coin-operated washing machine and tumble dryer. WIFI is available free of charge in the complex.
The 50 square metre three-room flat Trilo A3 offers space for a maximum of 6 people (including babies). The accommodation has a bedroom with a double bed and a children's room with two single beds or a single bed. If required, the double sofa bed and an additional folding bed (in the variant with only one single bed in the children's room) in the combined living and dining area offer additional sleeping options. Depending on the layout and flat variant, the two bedrooms are located in the open gallery on the top floor. The well-equipped kitchenette in the living area has an electric cooker, crockery, cutlery, pots and pans, a filter coffee machine, a microwave and a fridge with freezer compartment. The bathroom is equipped with a washbasin, hairdryer, WC and shower. Some of the accommodations have an outdoor area (balcony/terrace). SAT-TV and a car park are included in the rental price. Air conditioning and heating are also available for a fee. If required, towels or bed linen can also be rented on site (please reserve when booking). For families with small children, it is possible to hire a set consisting of a high chair and baby cot on site (please reserve when booking). There is a barbecue area next to the playground, which can be used by all guests. So nothing stands in the way of a cosy barbecue evening. Travelling time from ital. Border approx. 2h. Note: If you need more than one accommodation, this is usually possible with us, as we have several properties of the same type.
DAY OF ARRIVAL + LENGTH OF STAY
In the period from 29 June to 6 September 2024, the arrival and departure day is Saturday (minimum stay 7 nights). In the period from 18 May to 31 May 2024, the day of arrival and departure is Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday (minimum stay 5 nights). In the remaining period, the day of arrival and departure is Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday (minimum stay 3 nights). Please note: If for any reason you are unable to arrive on the scheduled day of arrival, it is of course also possible to check in on the following day (please let us know before you arrive). The same applies if you wish to depart earlier. Departure the day before is also possible in this case. However, the rental period/rental price specified for booking remains unchanged.
BEACH
The complex is only a few minutes away from the public pebble beach, so nothing stands in the way of a day of swimming with the family! A little further away is the "Lido Azzuro" in Maderno. It is one of the few sandy beaches on the lake and is subject to a charge. There are parasols, a playground for children and a diving platform. For guests travelling with their faithful four-legged friends, there is also a dog beach near the accommodation called "Bau Beach". This includes a kiosk, parasols for dogs and a lifeguard to ensure the safety of all guests.
POOL
The residence has a manageable pool area with a children's pool for younger guests to let off steam and a pool with a whirlpool for experienced swimmers. Relax by the pool and enjoy the marvellous view of the village and the lake. Sunshades and sunbeds are available to guests free of charge.
FAMILY-FRIENDLY
The resort not only scores points with families thanks to its proximity to the beach - there is also a children's pool and a small playground for younger guests to let off steam! Families with small children also have the option of renting a set consisting of a high chair, a cot and a baby bath on site.
LEISURE AND SPORT
In addition to the pool in the complex, guests also have the opportunity to go on a hike through the hills. Those who wish can also try windsurfing on the beach or visit one of the tennis courts and golf courses in the area (for a fee). There's never a dull moment on Lake Garda!
SHOPPING
You will find shops in the vicinity of the residence where you can stock up on everyday items and groceries. The centre of Maderno is also great for a stroll.
CATERING
The accommodation has a well-equipped kitchenette with an electric cooker, crockery, cutlery, pots and pans, a filter coffee machine, a microwave and a fridge with freezer compartment. If you prefer to be cooked for on holiday, you can also visit one of the restaurants within walking distance.
PETS
A maximum of one pet of small to medium size (approx. 10kg) is permitted in the accommodation provided for this purpose, subject to notification at the time of booking. Please inform us of the breed and weight at the time of booking.

LOCATION
The residence is located in the immediate vicinity of the beach and is therefore ideal for a relaxing beach holiday with the family. The centre of Maderno is also just a stone's throw away and invites you to take a stroll.
LOCATION AND SURROUNDINGS
Toscolano-Maderno is located on the western shore of Lake Garda. The municipality, which has grown together from two towns, is only separated by the River Toscolano. Maderno has a beautiful old town centre and many beautiful villas in large gardens along the lakeside road. A car ferry crosses over here to Torri del Benaco on the eastern shore. Where the parish church of Maderno now stands, there was once a mighty castle with four towers, one of which still functions as a bell tower today. Toscolano has long been known for its paper production and book printing since the Middle Ages. The water of the Tosolano torrent, which tumbled down from the mountains, powered the paper mills. Today, the river is dammed in Lago di Valvestino, high above Lake Garda, and has lost its torrential force as a result. Thanks to its ancient roots, modern Toscolano-Maderno is characterised by a special charm and fascinates its visitors with romantic corners, winding alleyways, small restaurants and beautiful bays. Those who like to spend a lot of time outdoors and go hiking or cycling will certainly find what they are looking for in the surroundings of Toscolano-Maderno. After all, there are numerous paths and trails of all levels of difficulty - for an afternoon family outing as well as for enduring and demanding sports enthusiasts. Every Monday morning, Toscolana hosts a small organic food market with products from local producers. A lovely, typical weekly market with lots of bargains and healthy specialities from the region takes place every Thursday. A city trip to Verona with its Roman past, the famous balcony of Romeo and Juliet and of course the world-famous Arena with open-air performances is just 1 ½ hours away by car. To the west are the cities of Brescia, Bergamo and Milan, which invite you to go on an extensive shopping tour. A trip around Lake Garda is also always an experience. Lake Garda offers an exceptionally wide range of leisure parks, zoos, climbing parks and swimming pools. In Castelnuovo del Garda, for example, you will find Gardaland, which is one of the largest amusement parks in Italy. Families get their money's worth here, because with over 40 attractions ranging from white water rides to a fairytale theme world, there is something for young and old alike. Right next door, the Gardaland SEA LIFE Aquarium is waiting to introduce visitors to the underwater world. Breathtaking stunt shows await visitors at Movieland in Lazise. Special effects provide the necessary action. The Parco Natura Viva in Bussolengo (just a few minutes by car from the south-eastern shore of the lake) is a zoo dedicated to the protection of endangered species and is home to a number of endangered species such as tigers, leopards and the little panda. Visitors can go on safari on a walking trail and get close to animals such as rhinos, hippos and monkeys, separated only by natural barriers.
