Description
The vacation complex consists of 16 identical, winter-proof wooden houses.
Our lovingly furnished house is separate and quiet on a > 400 m² large wooded property. In front of and behind the house are sunny terraces, the front one is protectively covered. For romantic barbecue evenings, we have our own stone grill.
On the ground floor is the central room with living room, dining area, and open kitchen. In the living room, there is a corner sofa where you can spend cozy hours reading, chatting, watching TV, and much more. A flat-screen TV with satellite system and DVD player are also available, as well as a small stereo system, some books, and board games. A fiber optic connection is also available.
The adjoining dining area, where 6 people (and possibly a toddler in the available high chair) can comfortably sit at the table, is next to the open kitchen. This is generously equipped with a ceramic hob with oven, microwave, refrigerator with freezer compartment, and dishwasher, as well as dishes, pots, and small electrical appliances. Furthermore, on the ground floor, there is a bedroom with a double bed and the bathroom with a shower, toilet, and a washing machine.
Upstairs there are two more bedrooms. One bedroom has been newly furnished with a double bed. The other bedroom has been deliberately equipped with a (high-quality) and extremely comfortable sofa bed for sleeping. Here one can also retreat undisturbed during the day. The windows of all sleeping rooms are furnished with opaque external blinds, so that you can have an undisturbed sleep-in.

Location and surroundings of object
The house is located on the edge of a holiday home complex, separate and quiet. Next to and behind the house you have a direct view of the forest. You can have breakfast in peace on the covered terrace with a view of the greenery. For dinner, the terrace behind the house is ideal in fine weather, as the evening sun shines there.
Our two parking spaces are behind a high pine hedge, they can be reached directly from the house.
Directly opposite the holiday home is the Glammsee lake, only about 70 m from the house.
a mixed forest begins 20 m behind our house, where you can walk for hours. There are other lonely (bathing) lakes all around, which you can reach (on foot) in about 30 minutes. Here you are often undisturbed.
The small town of Warin lies in the middle of the charming Sternberg lake district between the Großer Wariner See and the Glammsee. These two lakes, as well as about 15 others in the immediate vicinity, offer attractive opportunities for resting, swimming and fishing. Some of them are connected to the Glammsee by rivers and are ideal for a boat trip with the hotel's own canoe. Romantic hiking trails cross the cool forests. You can also go on extensive bicycle tours. In Warin there are good and sufficient shopping facilities, as well as some reasonably priced pubs and restaurants, which can be reached on foot in about 15 minutes.
Within 30 minutes by car you can reach the island of Poel on the Baltic Sea. In the same time you can reach the old Hanseatic city of Wismar. It impresses with the brick Gothic of its huge churches, the old town, the harbour and the Poel cog. You can also reach Schwerin Castle or Bad Doberan Minster in the same time. It doesn't take much longer to get to Rostock. These cities, as well as others, offer a rich cultural programme.

| A deposit of 100,- € per week is required. The obligatory final cleaning costs 80,- €, a dog brought along costs 20,- € per week (or per stay if less than one week; only up to two dogs) Additional costs for gas (2,50 €/m³), water (6,50 €/m³) and electricity (0,40 €/kwh) will be charged according to consumption ; depending on the current situation the consumption costs will be adjusted. Optionally, towels (7,50 € per person) and bed linen (12,50 € per person) can also be booked. In this case, a bound linen package is ready for everyone on the bed. |
Cancellation terms:
If you cancel after the lease agreement is signed, half of the rental price must be paid unless it is possible to rent the house to someone else. If the tenant cancels the lease 14 days or fewer before the start of the rental period, 90% of the rental price must be paid in any case. A processing fee of 50 euros is always due.

The children can play directly in front of the house, but also in the playground of the holiday complex, where there is also a volleyball net for the older ones.
You are welcome to bring your dog.
Please note that we only rent out the holiday home as a non-smoking house.

Vacation with two small dogs
We spent a week in the holiday home with two dogs.
We were very satisfied with the holiday home.
The holiday home is located in a well-maintained complex with large bushes and trees.
The equipment is optimal and up to a new standard.
The bedroom is newly designed and the mattresses offer comfort.
The kitchen is modern and fully equipped.
The shower has been modernized and is appealing with a washing machine.
Media technology is available, as well as free Wi-Fi.
The house is clean and well maintained.
The terrace directly at the house is not visible to others. There are two parking spaces available.
The bathing area with a jetty at Lake Glammsee is only a few meters away.
If the April weather does not show its cold side, as it did for us, Glammsee and Wariner See are a dream for nature lovers, anglers, and canoeists. A canoe belongs to the house.
The path to the lido with a café can be reached on foot through the city park. There are plenty of play and sports opportunities there. Admission is free.
Above the houses, there is a fenced large play area for children.
Outside the complex, it is good for dogs to go for a walk. The bathing area for people with dogs seems to be on the opposite shore. Outside the season, it was okay, but in summer, that may be a drawback as you can only reach it by car.
If you want to relax in the middle of nature, this place is perfect.
Cycling is also possible, but only on natural bike paths.

Holiday over the New Year
The vacation home can be recommended with a clear conscience.
It is located in a small and quiet vacation home settlement directly on Lake Ammersee.
It is clean and well-equipped.
There is nothing missing in the kitchen.
The forest starts right behind the house for walks.
Our dog Emmy also felt very comfortable and could really let off steam.
The town of Warin is only a few minutes away. Everything is available there (grocery stores, gas station).
We felt very comfortable there during our stay.

Absolute peace, relaxation guaranteed
We spent a week from October 27th to November 3rd, 2023 in this little cottage, 2 adults and 1 dog. We were looking for peace and found it there. The location right by the forest and the lake was ideal for us. We could go on long walks and those who wanted to fish could also do so. The beach and boat jetty are about 100m away. If you like, you can drive to Schwerin, Wohlenberger Wiek or Poel Island in about 30 minutes each. The house has a nice layout, everything is small but fine. The kitchen is very well equipped, the beds are consistently good. The arrangements beforehand and the settlement afterwards worked very well. We would love to come back.

Holiday with the dog
We stayed at the holiday home from May 1st to May 13th, 2022. It was very clean, everything was available. Great furnishings with everything you need on vacation. Great area, and it was very quiet. You could really relax.
What would have been nice is if the lawn had been mowed at least once during these two weeks. It was promised, but no one came.
We would definitely recommend it.
