Description
Our holiday home covers all needs that belong to a relaxing holiday. There are 3 bedrooms, a combined kitchen, dining and living room. In the lower area there is a bathroom with shower and on the upper floor there is a second emergency toilet. The house has a direct view of the lake from the terrace, the sun terrace is spacious and gives you the possibility of sunbathing from morning until late afternoon. An awning protects you from sunburn. The rear garden area is perfect for barbecuing, relaxing and enjoying a glass of wine in the evening. In an outbuilding you can store your bathing equipment or bicycles. The kitchen has been renewed and is up to date
Bed linen and towels can be rented for an extra charge and are provided as a package. Our house management will instruct you on arrival.

Location and surroundings of object
The holiday home is located in a small holiday village with a direct view of the lake, approx. 40m from the lake. It has a large sun terrace at the front and also its own rear garden area for sunbathing and barbecuing.
The lake is in front of the house with a wonderful circular hiking trail, in the rear section of the holiday village there is a kilometre-long mixed beech forest. The Baltic Sea is about a 40-minute drive away.
The small town of Warin lies in the middle of the charming Sternberg lake district between the Great Warin Lake and the Glamm Lake. These two lakes, as well as about 15 others in the immediate vicinity, offer resting, swimming and fishing opportunities. Some of them are connected to the Glammsee by rivers and are ideal for a boat trip with the hotel's own canoe. Romantic hiking trails cross the forests. You can also go on extensive bicycle tours. In Warin there are good and sufficient shopping facilities, as well as some reasonably priced pubs and restaurants, which can be reached on foot in about 15 minutes.
The good thing about the location of the holiday village is that both Schwerin and Wismar on the Baltic Sea are only about 35 minutes away by car. Especially when the weather is bad, culture and shopping can be covered. Within 40 minutes by car you can reach the island of Poel on the Baltic Sea. Beach days at the Baltic Sea are therefore also easy to arrange.
Schwerin and Wismar offer rich cultural programmes for a change.

Short break at Glammseehaus 10.
In September 2023, we (2 people and a dog) spent a week in House 10 on Glammsee. Our expectations were more than exceeded. Upon our arrival, the beautiful house was super clean. The house was perfectly equipped. Nothing was missing. The furnishings were also very appealing and super cozy. The beds were very comfortable. From our front terrace, we had a beautiful view of the lake. Since the weather was very warm, we were able to swim in the lake every day. The forest, which starts directly behind the house, allowed us to take beautiful walks with our dog. The proximity to the Baltic Sea gave us great excursions during this week, for example to Wismar, Boltenhagen, Poel Island, and Kühlungsborn. In summary, this short vacation was the most beautiful we had in a long time. We are already looking forward to our 14-day vacation in June 2024, which we have already booked. Wundervoller Spätsommerurlaub
Das Ferienhaus ist bestens geeignet für alle, die gerne im Freien mit einem schönen Blick auf Wasser und Wald auf einer sonnigen Terrasse frühstücken, im See schwimmen oder auf dem See paddeln, gerne mit dem Fahrrad unterwegs sind, gerne ungestört die Nachmittagssonne genießen, den Tag beim Grillen ausklingen lassen und dabei nicht auf Komfort verzichten wollen, also für uns.
Die Küche ist toll ausgestattet, die Wohn- und Schlafbereiche sind sorgfältig und liebevoll eingerichtetet. Auch an Bücher, Gesellschaftsspiele, Kinderhochstuhl und Wäschetrockner ist gedacht.
Die große Hitze war mit dem Tag unserer Anreise vorüber, die paar Regenschauer haben allerdings noch nicht für Pilze im Wald gereicht.
In Warin gibt es ausreichend Einkaufsmöglichkeiten (Lidl, Norma, Edeka,KIK), auch Einkehrmöglichkeiten, die wir aber nicht beurteilen können, da wir wegen der Coronazeit lieber auf der Terrasse oder im komfortablen Wohnraum des Ferienhauses gesessen, gegessen und getrunken [ ;)] haben.
Das Strandbad Warin selbst und der Weg dorthin sind eine Attraktion. Besonders für Kinder zu empfehlen ist der Spielplatz neben der schmalen Lindenallee. Man hat super Sport- und Spielgeräte installiert, die Liegewiese und der Schwimmbereich sind gepflegt, und für den kleinen Hunger und den Durst gibt es einen Kiosk.
Es war ein erholsamer, schöner Urlaub. Vielen Dank an die Vermieterin.
