The holiday village Adalbert Stifter consists of 12 Bavarian Forest houses in the very quietly situated district of Raßreuth, approx. 2 km from the climatic health resort of Hauzenberg.
The Freudensee lake is just a few minutes' walk away.
It is only a few kilometres to Austria or the Czech Republic, where many attractions and sights are on offer.
The beautiful three-river city of Passau can be reached in 20 minutes by car and is always worth a visit.
The Bavarian National Park is approx. 25 km away
The Bavarian Forest is a unique experience for the whole family all year round.
Whether in spring and autumn for hiking or mountain biking, in summer for swimming or in winter for skiing,
Cross-country skiing or tobogganing, every season has its own charm
Information material with tips for leisure activities / hikes is available in the flat.

Via the A3 motorway / exit Passau Nord follow the signs to Hauzenberg.
In Hauzenberg direction Breitenberg

Vacation with Dog
All in all, we were super satisfied and the price-performance ratio is unbeatable.
The only downside was that there were no fly screens; one evening we killed over 20 mosquitoes for 2 hours. Maybe it was due to the rainy weather and the nearby lake. That robs you of sleep, and that's not very nice.
And the beds squeak with the slightest movement, which was also unusual at first.
But that's really complaining at a high level :)
Overall, you can recommend the apartment (v. a. recommend for a vacation with a dog

Leider hatten Sie überlesen, dass es eben doch ein Fliegengitter an der Balkontüre im Schlafzimmer gibt, man muss es nur heraus ziehen .-)

Great vacation
Great, cozy, and lovingly furnished holiday apartment, with great amenities and a beautiful view from the balcony. The holiday village itself is well-maintained, with a family atmosphere and a swimming pool with a great outdoor pool. Perfect starting point for excursions. We will come back!

Super beautiful vacation apartment for feeling good and relaxing.
We spent two wonderful holiday weeks in the small, cozy attic apartment with an incredibly beautiful view from the balcony.
We had everything we needed, so there were no wishes left unfulfilled.
We felt completely at ease and can highly recommend this apartment, and we would be happy to enjoy it again soon for one of our next vacations.

The beautiful Bavarian Forest and the idyllic location of the holiday village persuaded us to buy this holiday flat.
