Discover the charming holiday home Schwarzwaldhof zur Seidenweberei in Görwihl, in the southern Black Forest. Built as a historic Black Forest farm in 1800, and later supplemented with a silk weaving mill - as was often customary in the Black Forest at that time to supply Basel with silk ribbons and cloths. Today, the 2 bedrooms and the shower room are on the ground floor. In the 1980s, the house was lovingly renovated and refurbished.
This spacious holiday home offers 350 m² of living space for up to 10 guests in 5 cosy bedrooms and 3 modern bathrooms, 2 separate WCs and an additional shower in the pool room.
Enjoy the many amenities this accommodation has to offer: A double garage and additional parking spaces on the property provide ample parking space for your vehicles. The well-kept garden invites you to relax and barbecue with the BBQ grill. On all days you can refresh yourself in the in-house indoor pool and enjoy the sun on the terrace or behind the large glass panes in a deck chair. On cooler evenings, the historic tiled stove in the living room provides cosy warmth and comfort.
For wellness lovers, there is a sauna where you can relax after an eventful day in the Black Forest. The fully equipped kitchen has a dishwasher, refrigerator, microwave, electric kettle, coffee maker, induction hob, oven, egg boiler, toaster and plenty of cooking and baking utensils. Bed linen, towels and kitchen towels are provided. Please bring your own bathrobes and slippers and sauna towels. 4 TVs, a washing machine and a tumble dryer are also available, as well as an additional fridge-freezer. You will also find various books and board games. Raclette and fondue dishes (for cheese and meat fondue) are also available for 10 people.
Families with small children will find a cot and a high chair available in this holiday home. As well as children's cutlery and crockery The Wi-Fi, iron, ironing board and hairdryer in each bathroom are also part of the equipment of the house. Hoover on each floor.
Please note that the holiday home is a non-smoking property.
An initial supply for the first 2-3 days of consumables such as dishwashing tabs, washing-up liquid, kitchen roll and toilet paper is provided.
The house offers space for seminars, yoga groups or similar in the converted attic.
Painting groups can also book a painting room with 5 tables and 5 easels for wonderfully creative days at 1000 m altitude.
Please bring your own paints, brushes and canvases as well as putty, etc

In Görwihl/Strittmatt in the southern Black Forest - idyllic nature and relaxation.
Walking, hiking, cycling and motorbike tours, cross-country skiing starting directly at the house ( cross-country ski trail right behind the house), paved winter hiking trail also right behind the house, or downhill skiing from the nearby ski lifts. Ice rink in nearby Herrischried.
Situated above the fog line, the Hotzenwald, at an altitude of around 1000m, offers very good air and lots and lots of sunshine!
The stunning Alpine panorama from the Säntis massif to Mont Blanc comes free of charge on a clear day!
Culinary-gastronomic, cultural excursions or visits to natural spectacles such as waterfalls, gorges and lakes - it's all there.
There is plenty of information material available for you in the holiday home.
