Equipped with a large private outdoor space, it is located on the ground floor of a prestigious building of historical interest among the sand dunes of a Natural Park, just 20 minutes from the Tower of Pisa and a short distance from the main points of interest in Tuscany! The ideal place for a stay about beachlife and exploration of artistic and cultural interest, available at any time of the year. It offers direct and free access to the large public beach and in Summer also to the beautiful shared swimming pool (extra access fee). Few steps from the building, simply crossing the street: supermarket, restaurants and shops!
The place provides the best comforts: air conditioning and heating, Wi-Fi, 43" SMART TV, digital safe and washing machine. Kitchen is well equipped and complete with dishwasher, induction hob, oven, fridge with freezer and modern appliances: dripping and Nespresso coffee machine, kettle, toaster, squeezer, egg cooker and other essential equipment for those who want to experience the essence of Italian cuisine.

You'll be staying in a historic place! The main building, with the planimetric shape of an airplane facing the sea, is the former marine colony "Principi Umberto and Maria Josè of Piedmont", built around 1930 as summer accommodation for children of the Italian Military Air Force personnel of the time. At the beginning of 2000s it underwent major renovations which transformed it into an exclusive residential structure on the seafront, without altering the original and peculiar design.

The fine sandy seaside is just a few steps away, accessible all year long via a pedestrian gate a few meters from the apartment, choosing between a public beach and establishments.
Mid-June to mid-September you can also take advantage of the resort facility consisting of access to the pool area with bar and bistro (extra access fee required - From the 2023 price list, one umbrella with 2 sunbeds 35€/day).

Calambrone is part of the municipality of Pisa, whose center is just a few kilometers away. You can reach Piazza dei Miracoli and the Leaning Tower by car in minutes, as well as the center of Livorno. Motorways are easily accessible, allowing you to visit Versilia, Florence and the best spots of Tuscany with short car journeys. No panic in case you don't travel by car: public transport is very efficient with frequent connections, bus stops to/from Pisa and Livorno are just a few steps from the accommodation! Pisa Galileo Galilei International Airport is only 18 km away.

I was born and lived most of my life in the nearby of Lake Como, Northern Italy, and 14 years ago happened to discover Calambrone and this historic building as a vacationing guest myself! I'm a digital worker in marketing and communication, passionate in design, photography and travelling. How to reconcile all of this? Hosting people from all over the world is making it possible!
I loved this place so much that after pretty frequent back and forth, I'm now living in this same building since the past few years. In late 2022 decided to get this apartment to start my life as a host and share all this beauty, any time of the year.
What I wish offering my guests is a memorable stay with great comfort, in the fascinating context of a place that has made the history of Italy. To me, hosting is not just the estate thing, it’s offering an experience inside the travel experience itself, most of all when those choosing my property come from afar.
