Then you will feel completely at home in our little country house !
We ourselves, married, with a daughter, a dachshund and five horses, bought the idyllic property to create a perfect place to relax in the middle of nature.
Our newly renovated country cottage is located directly on the edge of the forest, on a plot of almost 4000 square metres, away from the small village of Winden .
The property is completely fenced in.
On the spacious, almost ground level grounds, there is a paddock, an old shepherd's cart, and a "wild forest corner" with climbing trees.
Here you and your family will find enough space for ball games, archery, yoga, sunbathing or just to stroll around and switch off.
Numerous romantic, partly shady, seating areas and a hammock invite you to escape the stress of everyday life, read a book, drink a cup of coffee and immerse yourself in the tranquillity of nature.
We have furnished our cottage with a lot of passion and attention to detail.
So the charm of this lovely holiday home is reflected in every room.
All rooms of your holiday home are furnished with high-quality materials and furniture, some with antiques, and have a fantastic view of the greenery!
The bright, newly adapted kitchen is the heart of the house and invites through the large passage to the living / dining room to cook together with family and friends.
A dishwasher, a refrigerator and freezer, an oven, a coffee machine, a toaster,
a kettle etc. , leave nothing to be desired.
The spacious living / dining room with its floor-to-ceiling windows and direct access to the large terrace, allows you a view of the entire area and the beautiful surroundings.
It has a large flat-screen TV, a sound system, a comfortable pull-out sofa bed and a dining table with 4 chairs.
In the house there are two lovely bedrooms, one with a double bed (180 x 200 m) , one with a single bed (90× 200 cm) .
In the children's room there is a , "treasure chest" where you can find toys and games for indoors and outdoors.
On the large, sunny terrace you can end the day relaxing with a glass of wine.
From here, stargazers can also perfectly observe the wide starry sky above the house.
A gas barbecue is available for cosy barbecue evenings.
Furthermore, the huge property offers numerous romantic places and possibilities to switch off and relax.
Your children can play safely on the lawn, climb and explore the shepherd's cart.
During your stay, the house and the garden are for your exclusive use.
You must bring your own bed linen and towels or they can be rented for a fee.
Arrival is possible from 4 pm,
Departure until 10.00 a.m

Winden is a small village in the Nassau Nature Park in Rhineland-Palatinate.
If you appreciate peace and quiet and like to be out and about in beautiful nature, then come to Winden!
Surrounded by the Westerwald, with a view towards the Taunus, at a height of 400m ...
All around forest and meadows , distant view , green hills and valleys !
There is hardly any car traffic here, all the more hiking and cycling paths, small streams, ponds and even a bathing lake about 15 km away.
Here you can hear the birds chirping, see deer, squirrels and other inhabitants of the forest.
On the pastures around the village there are numerous horses, cows, goats and sheep.
Directly from our little country house you can start your hikes or bike tours in all four directions.
With the dog it goes directly into the forest or over extensive meadows.
For horse riders there are ideal bridle paths.
A golf course in Bad Ems, a wildlife and leisure park, a bathing lake, a visit to a castle ,
a canoe trip on the Lahn, .... these are just some of the activities that will enrich your holiday.
Make your time out complete and visit the thermal baths in Bad Ems (20min) with the first river sauna in Germany.

Then Koblenz and the German Corner offer just the right thing for you.
The Rhineland with Cologne and Bonn can be reached in about 1 hour. The Rhine-Main area (Frankfurt) is also only about an hour's drive away.

Vacation in the holiday home in Winden
A beautiful vacation for us and the dog ?. A clean apartment and the kitchen with very good equipment. The property is fenced. Our Russell Terrier checked the fence every day; there were no holes.
