Location and surroundings of object
The property is located on a hill just above the beach in the Borgo Prino district, a pretty little hamlet characterised by typical fishermen's houses. The beach is about 500 metres away, the road descends steeply, if you go on foot the return is uphill and a bit tiring. You can use your car, there is ample free parking near the beach. In the immediate vicinity of the beaches there is a 'Pam' supermarket and many bars and restaurants and pizzerias. Highly recommended is the bar ''Quelli della Rabina'' located just to the right in the car park, where you can enjoy spectacular hamburgers, good beer and aperitifs with lots of music.
On the promenade there are many restaurants, and 500 metres away is the characteristic fishermen's arcade of Borgo Foce. Above is the ancient Borgo: the Parasio.
The motorway exit to reach Casa Lilla is the Imperia Ovest tollbooth, from there, head towards the sea on Via Aurelia in the direction of San Remo. After about 200 m at the traffic lights turn right and go up the road to Poggi. After about 100 metres turn left (500 metres of steep ascent) or continue on the slightly steep road towards Poggi for about 2.5 km.
Imperia is located in the most beautiful part of Liguria, the Riviera dei Fiori , between Alassio and Sanremo, in the immediate vicinity of the Cote d'Azur. You can easily reach Monte Carlo (65 km) and Nice (80 km) in less than an hour via the coastal motorway. In addition, Cannes (110 km) and Saint-Tropez (180 km) are within easy reach.

The roads invite you to bike and motorbike with a beautiful view of the bays of the Mediterranean Sea. New cycle path directly by the sea from Borgo Prino to Ospedaletti, 29 km long, where you can also hire bikes.
SHOPPING:
Every Tuesday there is a farmers' market in Imperia-Porto Maurizio on the pedestrian street, Via XX Settembre, where only organic products from the area are offered. Every Thursday morning there is a large weekly market in Via Cascione, also in the Porto Maurizio district. Every Wednesday and Saturday morning the weekly market moves to the district of Imperia Oneglia near the church of San Giovanni.
FRESH FISH:
If you intend to cook at home, you must go to the port of Imperia Oneglia, as there is the possibility of buying fresh fish directly from the fishermen's boat in the morning.
OLIVE OIL:
A characteristic product of the western riviera of Liguria is extra virgin olive oil of taggiasca quality. You can go to the various oil mills that abound in the immediate hinterland, where you can also buy all the typical products of the area. The best thing is
to buy directly from small producers, as they produce mainly for their own consumption.

My partner and I had the pleasure of staying in casa lilla for our holiday.
The property is beautiful, private, peaceful and abundant with olive trees and fruit. The sea is literally 3 minutes drive. The host is friendly and available.
We'll surely be back.
