The surroundings are beautiful and communication with the owner was pleasant, but the house was disappointing. The furniture did not match the photos. For example, the sofa was replaced by a larger but less elaborate corner sofa, and the nice dining set by a wobbly table and chairs. The kitchen is worn out. The most disappointing is the 2nd bedroom, which really cannot be called a bedroom. It is literally a utility room with tiled walls where a bed has been placed. At the foot of the bed is the vacuum cleaner and the washing machine with the dishwasher on top. Here is also the toilet (which you would expect in the hallway) and a separate sink. The bathroom is beautiful, but only accessible through the 1st bedroom. If you are a couple staying in the house, it is okay, but with 2 couples, in our opinion, it is not. Furthermore, the house felt uninviting to us due to the predominantly bare walls and soulless lighting. In the bedrooms, night lights and nightstands would be nice. In short, there are quite a few improvements possible and also necessary.

We had a wonderful stay in this house in Achterhoek! The garden is a peaceful oasis, perfect for having coffee in the morning. The kitchen was well-equipped, which made it easy to prepare meals. Moreover, the nearby restaurant, Hof van Eckberge, was a great discovery - we really recommend their local dishes!

On Friday morning, we had no water for half an hour to three quarters of an hour, and in the afternoon, the power suddenly went out because the installers deemed it necessary due to work. They were also working with jackhammers on the other side of the wall. The TV wasn't working. After pressing various buttons, there was a picture. It was a big mess in and around the farm. It is also not a detached holiday home. The photos do not match how it is there.

We found the house very comfortable and practical for our needs. It had enough space for our group, and everything was clean and tidy. The nearby restaurants offered various options, and we loved exploring the nature trails around Eibergen. A solid choice for anyone wanting to enjoy the Achterhoek region.

What a fantastic outing! The interior of the house is beautifully decorated and very comfortable. We appreciated how clean everything was. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and made us feel at home. The location is excellent for exploring, with many hiking trails nearby. We even visited the Crystal Museum, which was just a short drive away.

The house was difficult to heat. Everything was available in itself, but it was quite expensive for what it was. Additionally, it was very annoying that there were hidden costs in the form of cleaning fees, which were not indicated at the time of booking.

The owners are ready to help, which was nice! The bathroom is nice and spacious, as is the master bedroom. Bedroom 2 was a big disappointment. It is not shown in the photos and is a former utility room, cold and chilly with a dishwasher and washing machine. It would be appropriate if this was also renovated into a nice and cozy bedroom.
What we noticed and disappointed is that the interior in the living area is different than in the photos. The furniture in the photos is no longer there and that certainly creates a different atmosphere and appearance, which we thought was a shame. We did not find the house equally clean everywhere, for example there was a lot of dust under the bed, some kitchen utensils were not clean, there were stains in the bedding and the carpet did not look fresh, partly due to stains.
When entering, it would be nice if the house was warmed up a bit, because of the tiles it is very cold in the house. The kitchen could also use a makeover/lick of paint and the walls could use some cozy decorations, for example. It is a beautiful house that could use more care and attention at the moment to make it come into its own! Because then it is definitely worth a visit.
