We have renovated and cozily furnished the holiday home Anni's House by the Lake with a lot of love. Whether with family, as a couple, or alone, whether in sunshine or rainy weather, you can always feel comfortable here and let your soul unwind with a view of the lake. Since January 2026, a private sauna has been available to our guests on the lower lake terrace, providing special relaxation. On the ground floor there are a bathroom, bedroom, a small hallway with a wardrobe, kitchen, and the cozy living and dining room. The kitchen is equipped with all the important basics and a fully automatic coffee machine.
In the summer months, the large garden terrace invites you to have breakfast with a view of the lake. In colder temperatures, you can also enjoy a cozy breakfast in the bright dining room with morning sun and a view of the lake. The living room is furnished with several comfortable seating options, cozy blankets, a small selection of books and magazines, a television, and a portable sound box.
The bedroom contains a 1.80m wide bed and a spacious wardrobe.
In a separate small hallway, a ladder staircase leads up to the converted attic, where there is an additional bedroom with a 1.40m wide bed. Especially in the summer months, you can use the upper terrace with a high-quality charcoal grill. In the morning, you can enjoy the sunshine on the jetty with another spacious terrace, and from midday on the entire property. Sufficient shade can be provided at any time by the electric awnings, which extend across the entire garden front of the holiday house. In clear weather, you can experience spectacular sunsets over the lake! For an additional charge, a towel package (regular towel, hand towel, shower towel, foot towel, and outdoor bath towel), bed linen, and our sauna package (sauna towel, bathrobe, infusion products) are available.
A small washing machine and a dryer are available for your individual use at any time.
Several parking spaces are also available.
The holiday home is designed for a maximum of four people. Since we only allow pets after personal consultation, please let us know the size and weight of your furry companion when making your inquiry.
Since July 2025, we have been a 4**** Plus holiday home, certified by the German Tourism Association!

Our holiday home is located in the quiet and natural holiday area Seerose near Vreden in the beautiful western Münsterland, not far from the Dutch border. The accommodation is nestled between lakes, meadows, and fields and offers a relaxing atmosphere away from traffic and everyday noise.
The local recreation area Seerose is ideal for nature lovers, those seeking peace, and active holidaymakers: Numerous cycling and hiking trails through the typically Münsterland park landscape start right on your doorstep. The house is located on a large natural lake with its own jetty. The surroundings invite you to take walks, observe nature, and spend relaxing hours by the water.
The city center of Vreden with shopping facilities, restaurants, cafés, and sights can be reached in a short drive. Popular excursion destinations such as the Zwillbrocker Venn, the Berkel region, or a day trip to the nearby Netherlands offer additional variety. The location combines absolute tranquility and nature with good accessibility to leisure, cultural, and shopping opportunities – perfect for a relaxing holiday in the countryside.

In the event of withdrawal or non-commencement of the booking for reasons not attributable to the landlord, the landlord may demand reasonable compensation for the expenses incurred. Expenses that are usually not incurred (e.g. final cleaning or laundry package) will be taken into account. Originally, this was the second home of our great-aunt Anni. For decades, it was the refuge for her and her husband from the big city. They were among the first owners in the Seerose recreation area and found this gem in 1973 through a newspaper ad. We personally associate countless beautiful and unforgettable vacation and childhood memories with the little house. Now, after painstaking and months-long work on our own, we have modernized and renovated it. We were forced to become better and better do-it-yourselfers!
