Exploring the Roman sites, abbeys, Cathar castles of the Corbières, the medieval village of Minerve and Carcassonne will give a rich cultural experience. Canal du Midi to 8 km, Lake Jouarres de Bages frequented by migratory birds, and the regional park of La Clape known are ideal for nature lovers to visit. Supermarket and restaurants are conviniently situated at 2 km.There is a sun terrace and covered terrace adjacent to the pool for relaxing. The house also has a built-in barbecue. You can be indoors with the family enjoying a movie on the TV. Very nice villa with lovely owners who show every detail with the tour. They are elderly and live next to the house, but you get complete privacy. They have 2 sweet dogs (that do not come into your house) of which one likes to play with the ball, when you throw them away they will come back to you with a ball, branch or stone. Pool is lovely, cottage has a lot of space and there is a spacious green garden. Neat bathrooms, beds were good (one even electrically adjustable) and kitchen has large American fridge, dishwasher, microwave and Senseo. There is also an air conditioning downstairs. It was clean in the basics, in the corners and on the ceiling there was still a lot of dust and some furniture was due for replacement. House is in a relatively new residential area outside Narbonne but it is very quiet. Garden / parking space is closed with an electric gate. You do need a car to get somewhere. Narbonne center is 15 min, the beach 25 minutes (by the mountains) and Carcassone 45 min. Please note, the owners only speak French and the deposit of 500, - must be paid in cash or by check.

Pretty quiet area, nice pool. The house itself is a bit tired and not so clean. The garden is shared with the landlord, and along the side of the house you have a private garden. The view of the large garden next to the pool is the shared garden, the private garden is next to the house. The landlords are very pleasant and friendly.

The house itself is definitely in order but the interior leaves much to be desired (defective furniture) and also the cleaning was allesbehalve.Voor the remainder was outside the villa definitely in order and also the pool is very well maintained. On arrival you will get a thorough tour but otherwise leave the owners with peace you. Their dog Georgia is omnipresent but not intrusive. Location is a base for several excursions which Beziers and Carcassonne are highly recommended. As we had 14 days of sunshine (except a thunderstorm a few hours) our vacation was definitely a hit geweest.Fam. Sanders (Belgium)

We had a wonderful holiday, despite the work, which took place right next to our house. The house is in a quiet suburb of the busy Narbonne. This gives you the opportunity to make it to Narbonne itself, but also outings to places Beziers, Carcassonne, Agde, Narbonne Plage with their lively markets shops, beaches and attractions. The owner, his wife and the dogs have kindly welcomed us and were ready with a bottle of rosé. One of the dogs is a real treasure. They keep you quite busy with sticks, stones, leaves and hair ball. We found that fun. Unfortunately, one of the bedrooms had a strong damp air. The cleaning could be better.
