Description
The holiday flat "Kranich" is m² in size and is located on the ground floor. Comfortably and functionally furnished, the flat is designed to meet the needs of young and old.
The flat has 2 bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, a cosy living area, bathroom and separate WC. In the courtyard directly in front of the house you can park for free and charge your electric vehicle for a fee.
You are welcome to barbecue on the terrace. To make your stay as interesting and varied as possible and to enjoy the idyllic surroundings around Serrahn to the full, you can rent bicycles, SUP boards and kayaks from us. Two bathing spots with large sunbathing lawns are approx. 500 m away and within walking distance.
A play corner, books and games await the children, as well as a sandpit, slide, trampoline and swing in the large garden. Washing machine, changing table and high chair are also available.
In bad weather, the cosy garden sauna can be used (for a fee). The kitchen is fully equipped; there is even a waffle iron, a raclette grill and a sandwich toaster, so you can really make yourself at home.

Less than two hours by car from the metropolises of Berlin and Hamburg, in the heart of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, lies the picturesque village of Serrahn, nestled in the Krakow Lakes.
the old half-timbered post office welcomes visitors coming from Krakow; coming from Dobbin, the first thing that catches the visitor's eye on the left is the old forge made of fieldstone. In the centre of the village stands the Gothic village church made of fieldstone and brick. The village is surrounded by meadows and fields, woods and water as far as the eye can see. Far from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, time seems to stand still here. Nevertheless, Serrahn is a lively village. Games are regularly played on the football and volleyball fields, cinema shows are held at the bathing area on warm summer evenings and young and old meet at the jetty for a chat or to enjoy the sunset over Krakow Lake.
In Kuchelmiss, 2 km away, you will find the nearest grocery store. In the small village shop you will find many goods for your daily needs. In addition, the Kuchelmiss fresh market also offers game and smoked specialities as well as fruit and vegetables, eggs, honey from the region and fresh bread rolls on Sundays. The offer is supplemented by a small snack bar.
Between Serrahn and Kuchelmiss lies the Nebel nature reserve with its well-developed, natural hiking trails. The small Nebel river emerges from Lake Krakow near Serrahn and makes its way through a wildly romantic, hilly terminal moraine landscape. Here the river almost resembles a clear, babbling mountain stream with stretches of scree, stones, fallen tree trunks, break-off edges and steep banks. Between the downhill stretches with high flow velocities there are strongly meandering sections with break woods and meadows all around and the accompanying richness of species. Romantic wooden bridges cross the course of the river. More than thirty different fish species have a home in the different sections of the river; brook lamprey, loach and grayling. The brown trout and the rare otter also have a natural habitat in the Nebel.
If you walk through the Nebel valley from Serrahn in the direction of Kuchelmiß, you will reach the Kuchelmiß watermill. A trip here is especially worthwhile at weekends, when the café is open and serves homemade cakes, fresh waffles, drinks and hearty snacks. The old mill from 1558 is a technical monument and can be visited. The romantic old water tower opposite the water mill looks like something out of the fairy tale "Rapunzel". A few hundred metres further on is the old stables with café and farm shop, which also invites you to take a short break on your cycling or hiking tour at the weekends.
8 km from Serrahn is the small climatic health resort of Krakow am See with its listed old town, a picturesque lakeside promenade. and the observation tower on the Jörnberg. In Krakow am See you will find numerous shopping facilities, such as Aldi, Edeka, Netto and Kik, as well as several restaurants. In the summer season, the supermarkets are also open on Sundays.
