In our hectic and crowded world, there are not many places left to retreat. Our cottage combines seclusion with a beautiful lakeside setting unlike any other. In Corona times, this is the perfect retreat.

The thatched summer house has a living area of 50 square metres. On the lake side there is a terrace with approx. 20 square metres.
Upper floor:
- 2 beds (1.90 x 90 cm) in the separate bedroom
- 2 smaller beds (1.90 x 70 cm) by the staircase
Ground floor:
- small bathroom with shower (boiler) and WC
- Living room with couches (one pulls out for 2 more sleeping possibilities), chairs, a table and cupboards. A wood-burning stove for heating on cooler days.
- fully equipped kitchen with fridge/freezer, electric cooker, sink, toaster, coffee maker, tea maker, bread slicer, cupboards, crockery, cutlery and cooking/baking utensils.
Cellar:
- has a separate entrance
- is for storing leisure equipment, such as the oars for the rowing boat, sun loungers, etc.
- Storage space for charcoal barbecue
Garage:
- Parking space for one car (carport) and further parking spaces in front of the property
Within the property you have exclusive lake access that you do not have to share with anyone. A 40-metre long romantic reed path leads from the house to the lake. There, a beautiful 20-metre-long jetty and a spacious sunbathing platform including a sunbed await you. You can easily and comfortably get into the water via a bathing ladder.
On the large property, you have enough space to fit everything in and really enjoy yourself. You can also use the large lawn in front of the house to play ball or enjoy the sun while having dinner.

Location and surroundings of object
The property is located in one of the most beautiful corners of Krakow Lake, 2 km from the centre of Krakow am See. The house is situated in the middle of a natural forest and meadow area (south and west side) as well as the Krakow Lake (east side). Only on the north side are six other houses in the spacious neighbourhood. Both from the land and from the lake, the property is not or only barely visible.
On 22 October 1956, Krakow am See was awarded the title of "Kurort Krakow am See", making it the second oldest health resort in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. Since 18 November 2000, the town has been a "state-recognised climatic health resort".

| In addition to 4 beds upstairs, the house has 1 pull-out couch in the basement, where there are two more sleeping possibilities. A camp fee of 20,- €/day applies for the 5th person or more. The visitor's tax of 1,50€/day and person has to be paid separately. Electricity and water costs are already included in the rental price. Bed linen, if you do not bring it yourself, can be found in the holiday home for a laundry fee of 7,00 € per person. Please let us know with your confirmation if you want to use bed linen. Dishes and towels are to be brought by the tenants themselves. Arrival is generally on Saturdays, arrival on another day on request. |

- Our summer house is closed from 10 October to the beginning of May 2021, as we do not rent during this period.
