Mas Sunyer is a Spanish country estate from the XIII century - part of the architectural cultural heritage of Catalonia - located only a few kilometres behind the southern French border - close to the Costa Brava. 12 hectares of land, embedded in Mediterranean natural idyll, guarantee absolute privacy and offer a unique ambience for relaxed family holidays, seminars as well as the perfect setting for events, such as weddings or family celebrations. The property offers its guests a main house and an annexe for use and is exclusively rented out to one (!) group at a time. In other words, there are no parallel bookings.
there is ample space for 21 people. Privacy is guaranteed. The interior of the houses is spacious and flooded with light. Friends of the culinary arts will find much to their liking in a large professional kitchen with direct access to the terrace.
The summer kitchen offers a BBQ and complete paella equipment for 20 people. Attached is a covered terrace.

The well-maintained garden has a pool, a boules court, table tennis, volleyball net and many relaxation areas.
Mas Sunyer is considered a "secret place" for weddings. We work hand in hand with one of the best chefs in the region and are well connected with excellent musicians of all styles. Wedding couples also have access - by private arrangement - to a separate, charming wedding house.
The small village of Maçanet de Cabrenys is only 2.5km away and offers everything you need. The supermarket is open 7 days a week, 12 hours a day, from June to September.
Breakfast service / catering can be provided on request and if possible.
Only 5 kilometres from Mas Sunyer is the picturesque reservoir of Darnius. An excursion there is worthwhile at any time of the year. For those who want to enjoy the sea and the beach, we have special tips for a wonderful stay on the Costa Brava, far away from the tourist beaches. The journey takes about 50 minutes and we promise: It's worth it!
Figueres, the capital of our region, can be reached in 20 minutes by car and offers its visitors a wide range of shopping facilities and restaurants. The area of art and culture, characterised by the world-famous Salvador Dalí Museum, deserves special mention.
For those who want to discover the world metropolis of Barcelona, we recommend the relaxed option: Via the express train from Figueres, you can be in the middle of one of the most beautiful metropolises in Europe in 45 minutes!
For guests who would like to take their four-legged pets with them on holiday: Dogs are welcome, but only (!) by prior arrangement and no more than 2 dogs of small to medium size. The property is not fenced. Dogs must therefore be kept on a leash. Dog owners are instructed to clean the property of their four-legged friends' waste.

| To be paid on arrival: Tourist tax- 1,10€/adult person/day. "Kitchen deposit" - 150€/bar. This deposit will be returned in full on the day of departure, provided the kitchen / BBQ have been left in good order. During the winter season, electricity consumption is calculated individually. The electricity meter is read on arrival and departure. A "heating deposit" of 500€ will be paid on arrival and the rest will be paid on departure - after settlement. |
Cancellation terms:
- You will be refunded the booking amount minus the cancellation fee, if you cancel the booking at least 4 days before the planned check-in until 12 o’clock CET (Central European time). For cancellations which are made less than 4 days before check-in, you will be refunded 50% of the booking amount minus the price for the first night and the cancellation fee.
