Interior description of the vacation home with balcony at the south beach on Fehmarn
When you enter the vacation home, you are located directly in the spacious kitchen, where you can comfortably conjure up your favorite dishes and drinks with which you can sweeten your day. From the oven, to the coffee maker, to the microwave, you have everything you need to cook or warm up.
From the kitchen of the vacation home on the south beach you also walk further into the bathroom, into the bedroom with two single beds and into the living-bedroom. The vacation home was renovated only in the spring of 2022 and from April 2023 there is also Wi-Fi access there. Accordingly, you can relax in the modern, bright and cozy rooms and enjoy Netflix and Co. on your devices.
The bathroom with a shower-bath is cozy, but still offers enough space to wash up, so you can prepare for restful nights or freshen up after your excursions. Walk through the spacious, bright living room past the comfortable double bed, directly onto the balcony. There you can enjoy the warm sun and the view of the sea, listen to the waves and relax your soul.
Also, through the separate bedroom with the two comfortable single beds, the fresh sea breeze blows when you open the window.
Location and exterior description of the apartment with direct sea view on the south beach
The vacation home is located on the 1st upper floor, in Strandhaferweg 65 in the Arne Jakobsen settlement, directly on the south beach in Burgtiefe. The apartment is so close to the south beach that you can almost jump from the balcony into the water and has its own parking place nearby, where you can park your car.
Otherwise, you will find nearby the new observation tower at the marina, many cafés, various bars and restaurants and also the water sports school Charchulla, which was founded by the famous Charchulla twins in 1975. Among other things, these crossed the English Channel on a mono-surfboard in the same year.
In addition, the vacation home offers the perfect starting point to also walk or bike along the inland lake to Burgstaaken or directly to Burg.
There you will find most other special leisure activities, many more restaurants, bars and shops. By car or on a longer bike tour, you can also easily explore the beautiful beaches and nature reserves in the east, north and west of Fehmarn.

Situated between the fine-grained southern beach and Burger inland lake, this beautiful vacation home offers the ideal starting point for a successful island vacation. A surfing and sailing school is located on the lake, so you can actively organize your vacation here. The beautiful south beach with its piers, the beach promenade and the numerous beach chairs invites you to walk, stroll and relax. It is a shallowly sloping beach section so that nothing stands in the way of cooling off in the sea, even together with children.

We will come back next year and would be happy to be able to inhabit the cozy apartment again.
Great view, good mattresses, well-equipped kitchen... we lacked for nothing. Only for cyclists, due to the lack of a locking mechanism for keeping the doors open, it is problematic to get the bikes out of the bike cellar. A tray would also be nice.

Very beautiful holiday apartment
We have stayed in this apartment for the second time. It has everything you need. The furnishings are lovingly chosen. Unfortunately, we find the mattresses very hard and, as a result, could not sleep comfortably.
