Description

Paal 234 is an authentic Texel cottage from 1926. In 2022 completely renovated into a charming and luxurious holiday home of over 120m2.
On the main road to De Koog. De Koog is a 5-minute walk away.

Our cottage is equipped with a delightful living room with a wood stove and underfloor heating.
The (open) kitchen has everything that a home cook needs.
On the upper floor, there are two bedrooms with a total of 4 beds (box springs). Bed and bath linen are included in the price and the beds are made upon arrival.
With five people? No problem, we have an extra sleeping armchair in one of the bedrooms. There is a shower downstairs and a bathroom upstairs. In the master bedroom, there is a freestanding bathtub.
Our cottage has a spacious garden, an outdoor dining table, and a (covered) lounge area. There is parking space for two cars.

Paal 234 is located in the middle of the Wadden Sea World Heritage Site in the outlying area just below De Koog. From here you can easily reach Den Burg, the beautiful nature reserve De Slufter, the wonderful view of the Wadden Sea from the east area and the romantic sunset from the west beach.
Ultimate enjoyment for a long weekend, midweek or week.

Cozy break on Texel

We really enjoyed our two-week summer vacation (family with two children) in this house. The house is very cozy. Beautiful tasteful living room and well-equipped kitchen. We lacked nothing :-). Nice garden with seating, we particularly liked the two cozy armchairs outside the door. Perfect for morning coffee or a glass of wine in the evening. Contact with the landlord was very straightforward. So we would gladly come again!!!!

Hello, we are Patrick, Monique and Sarah and dog Bobbie. Been away from Texel for years . We have lovingly renovated this old Texel house and adapted it to the conveniences and luxuries of our time. It is our favourite place to relax, get a breath of fresh air, walk the dog and get away from it all. Close to home but still away from it all. We would like to share this lovely place with you.
