Description

In the heart of East Frisia, in a wonderful landscape and nature, you can relax with us.
Recharge your batteries with the incomparable view of the "Great Sea" and the magnificent landscape!
Our idyllic holiday home directly on the water offers you a wonderful ambience for relaxation and recreation. Recreational fun such as fishing and boating and cycling are included in our price.
Let your soul dangle in our cosy rooms or on our elevated terrace.
Relax in the garden on the deckchair, sail off from the house's own jetty in a motorboat or rowing boat, or catch a few fish for the upcoming dinner :)
The property is completely fenced and only open to the canal sides.
Garden furniture and deck chairs with cushions as well as a stainless steel barbecue are ready for you.
There are two parking spaces in front of the house.

The house offers space for 6 people and can be used all year round due to the existing infrared heaters.
The rooms are divided into a combined living-dining area with a comfortable seating area and LED TV, as well as a stereo system. A dining area and a fully equipped fitted kitchen with dishwasher, refrigerator, ceramic hob, coffee maker, kettle, toaster, cooking & eating utensils and other utensils that belong in a kitchen are at your disposal.
There is at least one window with a fly net in every room.
There is a smoke detector in every room.

A wood-burning stove is also part of the equipment. So you can enjoy the nice warm crackling ambience in the cold season as well as the cosy warmth.

From the dining-living area you look directly onto the canal, which borders on two sides of the property.
From the loggia on the 1st floor you have a dreamlike view of the Great Sea.

There are three separate bedrooms, each with two beds and a wardrobe. There are double beds in all three rooms.
A cot and a high chair can be provided on request.

The modern bathroom is equipped with a shower, WC, washbasin and mirror.

Explore the Great Sea, which you can reach in about a minute with our motorboat or rowing boat ( As the Great Sea is a nature reserve, it may only be navigated with oars or sails, motorboats are allowed on the canals ).
Both boats are at your disposal with paddles free of charge.
The outboard motor can be booked for 100,- Euro per week (incl. 5 litres petrol).
2 bicycles are included in the price.
Discover the beautiful East Frisian landscape at the Great Sea and the surrounding area by bike. There is a well-developed network of cycle paths.
Enjoy cosy evenings at our fireplace. You can enjoy the cosy crackling of an open fire right by the water.

Great house in a beautiful location

Very beautiful house in a great location. Located directly by the water. With its own motor or rowing boat.
Fishing is possible from the private dock.
Everything you need is there. Perfect for unwinding and enjoying the peace.
We would love to come back.

Everything has been great.

It was great like last year, but unfortunately we are missing 2 things: Wi-Fi and a washing machine. It is difficult without a washing machine for 2 weeks.

Great house

Vacation in Bedekaspel

We had 2 great weeks in this house. Everything top-notch. Kitchen well equipped. Everything you need. Great terrace. View of the water. Really nice. And very quiet. Our little Sammy felt comfortable too. The stairs going up, however, are quite an adventure. It was very nice there. Again and again.

40 Years Friesland

I have been to Friesland with my wife many times, but we have never had such a great accommodation. The landlords, Mr. and Mrs. Heinen, are super nice people; the house is simply fantastic, you could give it 6 stars without hesitation. And then there's a boat that you can rent to navigate the canals—it's just amazing! The location is also great; it's not far from Emden or Aurich, everything is easily accessible! Grocery shopping is 3 km away in Edeka, so nothing is missing; everything is available in the house as well! The peace on the terrace is just great,
If you have a problem, call and Mr. Heinen is there!
We will come back, that's 100% certain when there is availability?
Thank you again for everything, it was a fantastic vacation!!!!!!!!!!

Sehr schönes und geräumiges Ferienhaus

We really liked the holiday home. The location is perfect, a very quiet environment with not so much traffic on the canal, also a very large completely enclosed property, so perfect for dogs 😊. The contact with the landlords was very pleasant and friendly. It would be perfect if a washing machine was available, but in Emden there is a great washing station at a gas station right next to an Aldi and Edeka. So, turn on the washing machine, then go shopping, collect the laundry again, and return to the holiday home.

We would love to come back.

Great holiday home by the canal

The house is super equipped with everything you need for household purposes and is very clean. The only downside was no Wi-Fi, which didn't bother us much - our 3 17-year-olds had a lot of fun with the canoe or motorboat and could explore the area. Our dog had a dream vacation, every morning he bravely went with me to the bakery wagon at the campsite and cycled through the fields with one of the house's bikes. There was no possibility for him to escape on the property, the location by the water is simply fantastic.
We made extensive use of the terrace, but also spent evenings by the fireplace due to the changeable weather.
There are plenty of games available, especially the Activity anniversary edition we enjoyed.
It is very quiet all around, which ensures pure relaxation, and we have recovered very well actively.

Exciting and very relaxing family vacation

Not only were the pictures quite appealing, but the entire holiday home with its surroundings.
From the beginning, we felt very comfortable and welcome.
The lovingly furnished holiday home, including the entire equipment, offers everything needed for a beautiful, eventful and relaxing holiday.
Due to the weather, we were able to use the terrace, the grill, etc. very often.
The contact with the Heinen family was harmonious from the beginning.
We will definitely come back.

Highly recommended!

Many thanks to the Heinen family! We had a wonderful stay at "Dat Meer-Huus"...the location right by the canal, the view from the beautiful terrace, the cozy atmosphere rounded off by the lovingly decorated interior – really made us feel at home! We were welcomed with a sweet little note wishing us a pleasant stay, and there were small treats on every pillow – even our dog had a treat, it was so nice to be welcomed so warmly! Everything was spotlessly clean!
We will definitely be back ;o)

Beautiful

The lovingly designed house leaves nothing to be desired. Grill, terrace and a fire pit invite you to linger in the summer. The landlords are always available, super nice and on site in a few minutes to help. We were there for 2 weeks with our medium-sized dog and since the property is completely fenced and only open to the canal, it is wonderfully relaxing. We will definitely be back ;)

"in all respects impeccable"

The house, furnishings, and garden leave nothing to be desired. The location of the house is quiet. The house was renovated with passion and expertise, top-notch. The house offers everything you could wish for for a relaxing vacation. Completely fenced in, also optimal for small dogs. The landlord is very helpful and strives to meet the guests' requirements, thank you very much for that. Always quickly reachable for arrival and stay. Everything was perfect for us, we would love to come back.
