The picturesque wine town of Bernkastel-Kues, nestled between the Moselle river and idyllic vineyards, is probably one of the most visited places on the Middle Moselle. The over 700-year-old historical gem delights with its medieval architecture, many cultural offerings, as a spa town and, of course, as a wine-growing region.
Due to its good air quality, the Kues plateau can call itself a "climatic health resort" and is situated in a dreamlike location above the Moselle, surrounded by vineyards, forests and meadows. This is an ideal starting point for active people and those seeking relaxation, because here you will find leisure activities for every taste, e.g. wellness & spa, massages, mini-golf, jogging, Nordic walking or simply walking in beautiful nature. There is also a forest adventure trail with a scent garden, barefoot path, listening corner, tree-touching games and a great herb garden.... so there is a lot to discover!
