Top house in a good location

We have already been in this house several times. Our enthusiasm has not diminished.

Everything is available, the house is clean and well equipped. The location is very good. Food and shopping are all within walking distance.

Everything is fine.

Rarely found such a clean and well-maintained accommodation. The communication with the landlord and the reception at the holiday home by Mrs. Gollenstede were perfect. There was absolutely nothing missing in terms of equipment. The property is ideal for dogs. All shops and restaurants are within walking distance. Many sightseeing opportunities can be easily reached by car (Emden, Leer, Greetsiel). Conclusion: A place to relax.

Small downside: To protect the grazing sheep, almost all dikes in East Frisia are closed to dogs. It doesn't matter if there are sheep or not, it doesn't matter if dogs are on a leash or not. Therefore, long walks on the dike with the dog are not possible.

Perfect holiday home

We were in Ditzum for the first time from 09.09. - 16.09.23. Very nice holiday house. Everything you need is there. Car is protected in the carport. Restaurants and shopping facilities are within walking distance. Very nice landlord. We were also warmly welcomed by Mrs. Gollenstede. We immediately felt very comfortable, as did our dog in the fenced property. We had great weather and a totally relaxed time. Many excursion possibilities, e.g. to Leer, Emden and nearby Holland. We will definitely come back.

Holiday home Millview

We were here for the third time from 19.08.23 - 02.09.23. Next year we will come for 2 weeks, twice. Very nice vacation home to relax. Everything you need is available. Landlord is very nice and responds to emails very quickly. We are more the cozy type. Walking with the dogs. The castle park in Leer is recommended. Big shopping trip to Weener. There is a very nice Edeka market there. Aldi, DM is also there. Ordered and picked up food from restaurants here in Ditzum. We are going home well-rested and looking forward to next year.

We felt comfortable here.

Usually, I am generally sparing with a 5-star rating, but here I make an exception because as soon as you enter the property, you can tell that the landlord is working with passion and wants only the best for the guests. First of all, thank you for the welcome gift. The house is clean and the interior is contemporary. There is no dishwasher. The garden is surrounded by a hedge and fenced in, so it is hardly visible from the outside. In bad weather, you can also sit under the large covered terrace and enjoy your drink or watch the two horses at the neighbor's and if you're lucky, you may hear the rooster, just pure nature. The small harbor and the town center can be reached in a few minutes on foot. Shopping is not appropriate here, then you can go to Leer or Bunde or elsewhere. There are plenty of attractions to visit. Brochures for this are available in the vacation home. My highlight was an unforgettable day trip to Groningen.

For the perfect vacation

I used to be in Denmark frequently and some time ago I got stuck here. A good vacation home, nothing is missing and everything you need for a vacation is available. There is no dishwasher but it is not really important for a few vacation days. The house is located close to the harbor and restaurants as well as Edeka and Imbiss Roni. There are plenty of excursion destinations here, whether in Leer or in Holland. I will come back.....

House behind the dike

The house is located on the site of the former brickworks Mansholt, which is mainly built with holiday homes. The location is quiet and yet in close proximity to the fishing port and town center. The house stands out pleasantly from the other houses in the area. It is larger and due to the clever layout of the plot, it is practically not visible.
The furnishings are a bit outdated, but clean and fully functional. We have rarely rented a vacation home where everything worked out so well right from the start, as with this house.
The stormy and rainy weather in the second half of July unfortunately prevented us from using the beautiful terraces extensively and exploring the surrounding area intensively. In Ditzum itself, you can see everything in 2-3 days and also explore the gastronomy.
So if you want to experience something on vacation, this is not the right place. A house for inner contemplation and for reading or writing a book. The disturbances caused by the neighbors (lawn mower and trimmer, barking dogs, and early crowing of the rooster) are limited.

We can absolutely recommend this house. We have never had such a super clean and perfectly thought-out holiday home. We didn't miss anything and felt very comfortable. The garden with the two terraces was great for us and our dog. We would love to come back. The contact with Mrs. Gollenstede was also very warm, so we felt welcome right away.

Holiday behind the dike.

We have stayed several times in this beautiful vacation home. We enjoyed it again this time.

Everything is available in the house. Local shops and supply stores are within walking distance. The dyke and the path to the river Ems are about 100 meters away. A beautiful place for a relaxing vacation.

Simply great

We were three guests with a small dog in May and enjoyed staying at "Haus Mühlenblick". We all felt very comfortable. The host and their local representative are nice and helpful.
If you come by car, you can park directly in front of the front door under a carport.
The house is spacious and comfortably furnished, well equipped and very clean.
The ground floor includes an accessible bedroom with a double bed, a kitchen with a dining table, a large living room with a couch/TV area, and a dining area, a bathroom with a shower, and a storage room with a washing machine and dryer.
On the first floor, there is a large bedroom with two single beds, a bathroom with a bathtub, which can also be used for showering, and a reading corner in the hallway.
The house is located on a quiet street and you can still reach the interesting Ditzumer harbor with some nice restaurants in a few minutes, even with a walker.
Haus Mühlenblick is a very good starting point for exploring the area.
Likewise, you can spend undisturbed cozy days/evenings in the house and on the terraces, which are equipped with tables and chairs. Cushions and other terrace furniture such as loungers are available.
If you cook yourself and don't like doing the dishes, you might miss a dishwasher, but that's nitpicking.
Otherwise, the house has all the prerequisites for a successful vacation.
We will gladly come back on occasion! Thank you very much and clear recommendation!

Beautiful holiday home

Very nice holiday home for holidays with dogs, great house and good facilities, property fully fenced for the 4 dogs and very nice covered terrace, we were there with an older couple and 2 dogs.
Communication and on site the handover from Mrs. Gollenstede was very nice

Feeling good with the "westernmost" East Frisians

We have always enjoyed being guests at Haus Mühlenblick in Ditzum for years. Mr Schröder offers his guests a holiday home that is fully equipped and an oasis of well-being even in changeable weather. The furnishings are modern and comfortable. The house was very well cleaned and Mrs. G. handed it over in a very friendly manner, we know each other. Due to the favourable location of the holiday home (no through traffic), the restaurants can be reached easily on foot.

Everything simply fits here

It's a nice quiet place and it's easy to explore the area. My 5-year-old son feels very comfortable here. There are restaurants and recently also the Pizzeria Roni where they always have pizza 28cm for 5 EUR on Tuesdays. We often eat at the Fischhaus Ditzum at the harbour. Visiting the inside of the mill is very interesting. Emden, Leer and Holland etc. are on the doorstep, so to speak, or the Jaderberg amusement park. Conclusion : Here in the holiday home you have a holiday right from the start. We will of course come back again.

We come again

We walked a lot with our dog. Along the dyke to the harbour, through the centre of the village, and also through some residential areas. Everything is very clean and beautiful. Leer and Weener are also very beautiful. The old town as well as walking along the water. Didn't do too much as we wanted to relax and go back next year and gradually explore the area at our leisure.
Everything you need is available in the holiday home.
We mainly ordered and picked up food at the Fischhaus, Sielhaus and Schifferbörse under Essen. It was super tasty and delicious.

A quiet holiday home for holidaymakers

If you are looking for peace and quiet, like us, and need to come down again, this is the place for you. Shopping is not the order of the day in Ditzum. Fresh crabs from the Ditzum cutters are a special delicacy and healthy too. We could only see a small part of the beautiful landscape and places, so much choice you have here. Of course we will come again

Here the guest feels at home

A beautiful Frisian house that is constantly being modernised. This is my third time here. It is a good place to relax. The house has everything you need and there is garden furniture in the garden. The house is clean. There are several restaurants here where you can eat, or you can order something to be delivered. Ditzum is a quiet place. There is always something to see in the harbour and if you want to see the old town or the harbour of Leer, you can go there. I was in Holland twice during my holiday week. I have already booked again for next year.

We always feel comfortable here

By chance, during a walk through the fishing village of Ditzum, I saw this beautiful, quietly secluded property, Ferienhaus Haus Mühlenblick. I later researched it on the internet and fell in love with it. The landlord is very friendly. Thank goodness we only had to deal with the private landlord quickly and, importantly for me, unbureaucratically. There was always a welcome gift at the reception. Here msn has its peace. It is not on the main road to the next town. You can also take the ferry to Pektum, an experience, or in summer to Delfzijl. Eating fish is a must in this region. We have already booked for 2023 in autumn 22.

Been a guest here for years

I have been booking the Haus Mühlenblick holiday home for a few years now and then I stay there once or twice in Ditzum. I usually try to avoid the carnival here in Cologne and my husband and I feel very comfortable in Ditzum and my dog can enjoy himself here in the garden. Everything is fenced in. There is a welcome greeting. Thanks for that to the landlord. The manager was always on hand to answer any questions. There is free Wi-Fi and landline in the house. We are surprised every time we arrive what is new. The landlord is constantly updating the house. There are plenty of excursions you can make from here. Even to Groningen or Eemshaven is no problem. But we feel most comfortable here and are always happy to be in the holiday home (not flat) Haus Mühlenblick and immediately feel at home. One more thing: the house is very well equipped and furnished. A holiday home to feel good in. We have already booked twice for 2023.
