The luxurious Komos studio has a living/dining area with Smart TV, a well-equipped kitchenette with extractor bonnet, a beautiful bathroom and a fascinating sleeping gallery accessible via stairs. From the living area you have access to the private balcony.
Studio Komos is one of four units in the beautifully renovated "The Artist House". The name of the house stands for Manolis' loving artistic work that has gone into this 118-year-old mansion. With his fascinating ideas and many sustainable materials, a true work of art has been created. As soon as you enter the impressive hallway, you can feel the magic of this wonderful old stone building.
On the covered terrace behind the house, a far-reaching view of the natural property of approx. 2000 sqm, the village and the mountains awaits you. All guests of the total of three studios + one flat can meet here.
Therefore, the flat house is also ideal for families or friends of 8-10 people who want to spend their holiday together and at the same time want enough privacy.

Location and surroundings of object
The Artist House is located in the centre of Pitsidia, a small, quiet village on the south coast of Crete. Pitsidia is so centrally located that you don't have far to go for anything, be it the sea, the mountains, gorges, caves, valleys, excavations or towns. Everyone can organise his holiday individually here and enjoy it wonderfully.
In Pitsidia, everything is within walking distance. For example, you can have a great breakfast in the "Onira" and end the evening with a good glass of wine in one of the many delicious restaurants.
It takes about 30 minutes to walk to the beach, and only five minutes by car.
There are music events on the village square twice a week. These evenings have a great atmosphere.
There are easy as well as adventurous hiking possibilities in the surrounding area.....
There are many sights to explore: Palace of Phaistos, Gortyna and Agia Triada archaeological sites, Moni Odigitrias monastery and much more.
Beautiful beaches: Komos, Matala, Red Beach, Kalamaki, Agiofarago, Lentas,Tripiti, Preveli, etc.
The new archaeological museum of Messara is also within easy reach.

Beautiful accommodation to feel good in Pitsidia
We felt completely comfortable here during our vacation in Crete! Even before our arrival, communication with the landlords was very nice and uncomplicated, and the check-in upon our arrival went smoothly.
The location in Pitsidia is perfect for exploring the south of Crete. Beautiful beaches and plenty of nature are very close by, while supermarkets, taverns, and restaurants can be easily reached on foot. And of course, there are plenty of cats as well. The accommodation itself was cozy and had everything we needed - including a reliably functioning air conditioning system, which was definitely worth its weight in gold given the Cretan temperatures.
A special highlight was that we were invited to a large communal meal hosted by the owner during our stay. The food was really delicious, and it was a nice opportunity to chat with the other guests. We had a really great time here, felt very welcome, and would come back anytime. Absolute recommendation!

Pure relaxation
We have stayed at the accommodation several times in the past and felt very well taken care of this time as well.
The accommodation is as described. It has everything one needs and is super clean. The location is also perfect.
Communication with Bärbel is simply great, as she is always approachable and really takes care of everything. It is also important to mention the hospitality that is shown. One feels very welcome here! We are already looking forward to the upcoming summer at Manolis!

Extraordinarily beautiful accommodation in the middle of Pitsidia.
The Komos studio is one of four lovingly renovated studios in the Artist House, right next to the church in the middle of Pitsidia. Like all of Manolis's houses, this studio is also something unique and special. Everything is designed and furnished so beautifully and with such attention to detail that you feel comfortable right away. With the practical mini-kitchen, you can easily prepare a breakfast or small dish and enjoy it comfortably on your own balcony. It is also wonderful to be able to wake up in the morning in bed on the lovely loft and enjoy the landscape through the cleverly placed windows. Manolis and Bärbel constantly pamper you, and especially Bärbel is always there with advice and assistance. I think that the studio is particularly recommended for (young) couples.

Beautiful vacation in Crete
My husband and I had a wonderful time in Crete!
The hosts (the Pachakis family) are warm people and always strive to ensure that you have a nice time with them. The accommodation is very clean and well-equipped.
We spent some game nights on the communal terrace.
The supermarket is within walking distance in a few minutes, as are the restaurants, and it takes about 30 minutes to walk to the beautiful beach. In summary, we lacked nothing and we really had a wonderful time in Crete!

Die Lage in Pitsidia ist perfekt, um den Süden Kretas zu erkunden. Schöne Strände und viel Natur sind ganz in der Nähe, gleichzeitig erreicht man Supermarkt, Tavernen und Restaurants bequem zu Fuß. Und Katzen gibt es natürlich auch reichlich.
Die Unterkunft selbst war gemütlich und hatte alles, was wir brauchten - inklusive einer zuverlässig funktionierenden Klimaanlage, die bei den kretischen Temperaturen definitiv Gold wert war.
Ein besonderes Highlight war, dass wir während unseres Aufenthalts zu einem großen gemeinsamen Essen des Gastgebers eingeladen wurden. Das Essen war richtig lecker und es war eine schöne Gelegenheit, mit den anderen Gästen ins Gespräch zu kommen.
Wir hatten hier eine wirklich tolle Zeit, haben uns sehr willkommen gefühlt und würden jederzeit wiederkommen. Absolute Empfehlung!
Wunderbar ist es auch, morgens im Bett auf der hübschen Empore aufwachen zu können und durch die geschickt angebrachten Fenster die Landschaft genießen zu dürfen. Manolis und Bärbel verwöhnen einen permanent und besonders Bärbel ist immer mit Rat und Tat zur Stelle . Ich finde, dass das Studio besonders für (junge) Paare sehr zu empfehlen ist.
Die Unterkunft ist wie beschrieben. Sie bitte alles, was man braucht und ist super sauber. Auch die Lage ist perfekt.
Die Kommunikation mit Bärbel ist einfach nur großartig, da sie immer ansprechbar ist und sich wirklich um alles kümmert. Unbedingt zu erwähnen ist auch die Gastfreundschaft, die einem entgegengebracht wird. Man fühlt sich hier sehr willkommen!
Wir freuen uns schon jetzt auf den kommenden Sommer bei Manolis!

Die Gastgeber (Familie Pachakis) sind herzliche Menschen und immer darum bemüht, dass man eine schöne Zeit bei Ihnen hat. Die Unterkunft ist sehr sauber und gut ausgestattet.
Auf der Gemeinschaftsterrasse hatten wir einige Spieleabende verbracht.
Der Supermarkt ist fußläufig in wenigen Minuten erreichbar, genauso auch die Restaurants und zum schönen Strand dauert es ca. 30 Minuten, zu Fuß.
Zusammengefasst hat es uns an nichts gefehlt und wir hatten wirklich eine wunderschöne Zeit auf Kreta!

Der Empfang und die große Gastfreundschaft waren unvergleichlich! Wir sind super toll die ganze Zeit betreut worden und hatten immer das Gefühl, wir sind gern gesehene Gäste.
Die Villa liegt außerdem ganz zentral und trotzdem ruhig. Von dort aus kann man viele tolle Ausflüge unternehmen und schöne Wanderungen machen.
Besser geht's nicht!
Uns hat auch gut gefallen, dass der Balkon unserer Wohnung morgens lange im Schatten war, sodass man dort ohne Probleme gut in Ruhe frühstücken konnte.
Insgesamt würden wir diese Ferienwohnung auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen, denn auch der Ort Pitsidia selber, sowie umliegende Orte wie Matala sind für einen schönen Sommerurlaub wie geschaffen!!

Gli studios sono piccoli, economici ed organizzatissimi,
con una terrazzo comune che consente, se uno ha voglia, di socializzare con gli altri inquilini.
Manolis poi è sempre gentilissimo ed accogliente, organizzando più cene per i suoi ospiti in modo da conoscerli e farli conoscere tra di loro.

Wir reisten nach 30 Jahren wieder nach Kreta. Auf Empfehlung unserer Freunde buchten wir die Unterkunft in Pitsidia. Das Artisthouse ist einzigartig. Ein Kunstwerk des Eigentümers. Haus, Ort und Gastronomie laden zum Verweilen ein - freundlich, herzlich und individuell. Weniger massentourismustauglich wie an der Nordküste - aber dafür um so abwechslungsreicher. Musik in Restaurants, ... "Bodikos" - leckere, ehrliche kretische Küche des eingefleischten Bundesligafans bis "Raftis" - raffinierte kretische Küche: besonders. Der freundliche, herzliche Gastgeber und die hervorragende Betreuung während des Aufenthalts und der optimale Ausgangspunkt für Unternehmungen runden das Bild ab. Einer unserer schönsten Urlaube.
